Castle holiday rentals in Lower Franconia

I’d give 10 stars if I could - Karl and Anna were the perfect hosts, the apartment was even more gorgeous live, incredibly clean and probably one of the best Air B&Bs I have stayed at - we just wished we would have booked it for longer! Despite the summer months, it was nice and cool inside the bedrooms - it was just so perfect for our party of 5… If you are looking to explore the Bavaria/Thuringia area in Germany, do yourself a favor and book Karl’s & Anna’s place. It is a total gem and will make you feel like you were dropped in the middle of a Brothers Grimm fairy tale…! Thanks so much Anna & Karl!

Feel like staying at Hogwarts for a weekend! It definitely worked! A wonderful location that has been decorated really lovingly and in detail. A warm and uncomplicated host couple welcomed us and gave us a great stay. We will come back sometime <3 Jochen & Nadine

It was a really great family stay! A great adventure at Weitersroda Castle, with easy to use fireplaces to heat yourself, a super nice host and everything for an unforgettable experience! Thank you to Florian for everything and we will be happy to come back to this colorful, cozy and exciting castle!

I didn't want to leave and will be back. Warm and hospitable from the first second to the last second. A great mattress, the back pain is pasé. Great also food and drink. Beautiful setting, and a historic house. Lots of information. A flexible check in and out. So I actually can't think of anything that could have gone better. My dog didn't want to get back in the car when I left. Me neither!

I had a short but nice stay there. The Airbnb was neat, clean and as described. There's nothing to complain about for me. I'd love to come back if I have to go back to the area.

Chic apartment with everything you need. Very modern furnishings and clean. Check in was easy and flexible. A little off the beaten path, but grocery store and a pizzeria nearby. Great location in the castle.

A successful weekend is behind me and my little pug lady. We visited my wife at rehabilitation and had an excellent place to stay with great value for money. Care and check-in were almost with friends, so traveling is fun.

unfortunately, we were only in the castle for 1 night, on the way back home. We would have liked to have stayed longer. If you are looking for modern comfort, this is not the place to be. But if you're looking for something special, you'll find a lot here. Unfortunately, we did not meet the castle ghost. Maybe if we had stayed longer, who knows .......

The castle of Unsleben with its dear hosts has made us travel a little back in time. The authentic apartment convinces with historical charm without having to sacrifice the amenities of modernity. For us, it was the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It's great that this special place is accessible and preserved and maintained by two lovely people.
