Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lyme Regis

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Thank you again for such an amazing stay.

We had such a lovely stay at the lodges, after not very many holidays having 3 young children this was the perfect fit. So much close by - farm park, beaches but also some amazing restaurants too. In the evening when kids are tucked up you can sit under the well styled and beautifully lit and thought out balcony watching the 'nightlife'. It was most certainly the break we needed and one we will remember for a very long time.

We booked for my husband's 60th and had friends join us. The cottage was perfect, spotlessly clean, loads of space so didn't feel we were on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils and everything even down to a food processor should you need it. The pool table and dart board was a hit with my 15 year son and the hot tub was great, even sat in it whilst it was -1 outside. All in all we had a great weekend chilling. Definitely will be back. Just come back from Mistletoe Farm after celebrating a Hen weekend there. We all could not fault the hosts, they were incredible & always checking if we needed anything, so helpful throughout the whole stay. Mistletoe Farm is beautiful & so peaceful. Plenty to do within the property. We all especially loved the pool/hot tub & also the karaoke machine was a big hit. It really is the perfect place either for celebrating a special occasion or a family weekend. We all enjoyed our stay & said it is a place we would love to go back to. Thank you again to the amazing hosts. Would highly recommend this air b&b 😊

Warm and comfortable in beautiful countryside with amazing views. Lots to see in the surrounding area, fantastic food at the local pub and we all loved the hot tub.

Possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed in. Such a unique, beautiful spot. The bedrooms are super spacious with super comfortable beds and it was great to have the two toilets. The property has everything you need and has been thoughtfully designed. Everywhere was spotless! The log burner was lovely to use at night and the hot tub with the stunning views and surroundings is just perfect! We saw so many different types of birds whilst there! We would love to return and will recommend to others.

Just spent a very relaxing couple of nights at Helen’s stunning cottage. The cottage itself is beautiful, extremely clean and has everything you could need for your stay. It has plenty of room for a family but there was only two of us so it felt really spacious. The gardens are just absolutely beautiful, lovely views, with lots of nature around, happily sat out to eat meals on patio whilst listening to the birds and watching the horses and helens dogs. We sunbathed on the sun loungers on the grass in the afternoons, which was bliss. there is a lovely large Hot tub which was a lovely added bonus which we relaxed in the evenings with a couple drinks. Helen recommended Lyme Regis for a day which we did, and It did not disappoint we had a lovely day out there. We definitely will be returning to this cottage for future breaks. we will now find it difficult to find another place that will offer the same accommodation and amenities with the gardens and views as here. My partner and I had a gorgeous stay at the shepherds hut - it’s super cosy and in a beautiful spot! The hot tub was so lovely with wonderful views and the hosts have still managed to keep the area private. It was also wonderful to see all the lambs and ducks come to visit us each day! Tracy and James were fab hosts and we would definitely come back in the future!

Thank you for a lovely stay. Cottage was just as described and instructions were very clear. Location was ideal and very secure.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

We chose Jo's place as it was close to Charmouth (11 mins) and Lyme Regis (14 mins by car). Our 6 year old son wanted to go fossil hunting. We arrived at Jo's cottage and she was there to greet us. She is very friendly and welcoming as well as her lovely dog Ruby. Jo also provided us with a travel cot and a changing mat for our 3 month old baby boy too, which was helpful. Jo provided us with a wheel barrow to carry our belongings to the Duck House as it was a little walk round the cottage. It's cosy and had all we needed. Our son liked the children's room he slept in and enjoyed the toys/games provided. My partner and my son did go in the swimming pool, however it was cold for our baby to go into. Jo did provide some bread, home made marmalade (that was lovely), butter, jam and milk. There was no hot water when we woke but when we contacted Jo she was straight on it and sorted it before we went out for the day. We enjoyed our stay - Thank you Jo.

We stayed at Crin's over Xmas whilst visiting relatives nearby and it was exactly what we needed. Communication was great with Crin, she was warm and welcoming. The property was great for a walk around with our 4 year old to burn off some energy.

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

We had an absolutely fantastic time with the family. The property is set on a beautiful farm surrounded by nature, with horses and sheep all around. The area is stunning and peaceful — we enjoyed every minute of it. Tony was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. I’d definitely recommend this place, especially for nature lovers.

Andrea's place is in a great location - close to the centre of Wellington but private and peaceful. The property is spacious, well furished, and has all the facilities you need for a very comfortable stay. Andrea communicated well with us and provided very detailed instructions for accessing the property. We would definitely like to return if we are in the area in future.

Tess is an amazing host: wonderful and warm. One of my daughters' highlights was speaking to her and learning her technique for fluffing up the resident chicken. Her hospitality was extraordinary, from the delicious cream tea to bountiful breafast. She might have even convinced me about cream first instead of jam on scones...

This is a really lovely place to stay - comfortable and with everything you could need. Close to lots of beautiful places, walks and beaches.

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

This is our second time staying in this lovely caravan. It’s always pristine and lovely. I always felt like a home away from home there. The bedrooms are a good size and the extra full bathroom is a definite plus! I’d highly recommend staying here.

The 4th time we’ve stayed at Little Burston. The cottage has everything you need, is lovely and peaceful and private. Carol is a great host and responds promptly to any issues. A lovely stay as usual.

Had a fantastic stay at Pristhole which is very well located in the pretty village of Stokenham, close to two pubs and roughly halfway between Salcombe and Dartmouth. Iona is really friendly and welcomed us on arrival and showed us around the grounds which are extremely well kept and the apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. As a family of four with two daughters (aged 8 & 7), it was all perfect and on our first night we enjoyed a really nice walk via Tor Cross to the Tower Inn in Slapton for dinner and subsequent trips to Salcombe, Paper Bird Island/Kingsbridge, Woodlands Theme Park, Dartmouth and the nearby Stokeley Cafe and Farm Shop; all of which were great. We might just have to break our long-standing rule of not going back to visit the same place by returning to stay in future in the hope of better weather.

We had such a lovely time at Sunset View. After a little blip getting started (which was very quickly resolved), we quickly settled in and felt right at home in Emily's comfortable and well thought out caravan. Devon Cliffs is a huge site but the van is in a great position in a quiet cul de sac so you're not 'on top' of other people. Only a 5 minute walk to the leisure area and shop and we had a lovely sea view when the sun came out! We really loved it and will definitely be back.
