We truly enjoyed our time relaxing at this scenic and historic place. Right along the river, attached to walking trails in a little park. Plenty of space and all the comforts of home. We spent a cool December evening here cozying up next to the fire and reading about the history of the region. The bridge/entrance dates back to roughly 1660-1740, incredible!

This was a dream vacation - we had just moved to Portugal and spent 2 weeks getting setup. We wanted a quiet week as a family to rest before school started. This place was perfect: perched on a mountainside in the middle of vines, the space was quiet, peaceful and beautifully designed and appointed. Paulo, the husband, is an architect who refurbishes vintage designer furniture. Teyna, the wife, is an amazing chef. Her breakfasts (included) we delicious and the dinners they offer in their adjoining restaurant and well crafted and tasty. Their place is pet friendly - we brought our dog, and they have a dog, two cats and two birds. We did outings to Porto, nearby Roman ruins, historic villages and swam in the rivers running through them. It was delightful.

The cottage is way nicer in real life than it looks in the pictures. It is spacious, well equipped and the location is absolutely stunning. Marilia was highly communicative throughout, gave us a warm welcome upon our arrival, and even left fresh veg and a lovely welcome pack. I recommend asking them to send the location to you directly before you travel as the one on Airbnb doesn't work.

The House and garden were absolutely perfect. Even better than the pictures and discription. We got used to the music from the amusement park on the other side of the river. We will absolutely be happy to come back.

Quinta da Lameira, has been one of the best farms we have encountered in the last 10 years. We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children and the farm showed that it had all the potential for a few days well spent. The house is very functional, well-equipped and illuminated. The living room and kitchen, in open space, allowed the entire group to be in constant conviviality and the children had room to play. The kitchen was equipped with everything we need. The 3 suites were comfortable and the room with bunk beds was perfect for the 4 children. It was the first house we were in that everything worked smoothly, from hot water, heating, to powerboard. The outdoor part is very nice, even though it is in December, just not being able to take advantage of the swimming pool. But even so the S. Pedro helped and, especially the children, were able to play in the slide and in the toy house. And we were able to barbecue. I believe a summer stay on this farm is amazing.

Great welcome, José was very responsive and flexible on schedules. The house was very clean with all the necessities. I recommend.

This is a magical place. Claudia is an incredibly generous host, passionate about her place and it shows. My only disappointment was that I could not have her join us at a family dinner as she was already out. Next time. Everything you need is 15 minutes away in the very charming town. The home is not in a town, so do not expect to walk to any facilities, but the drive to town is pleasant and very easy. The property is large and the local dogs (Leo and Vento) are super friendly and really add to the experience. The games room is the place to spend the evenings with family and friends. I am very happy to recommend this place to anyone who is a close friend or family. If you are a hater stay away, this place may not be for everyone but everyone who experiences Claudia's hospitality is sure to have the time of their life. Peace and Love and enjoy!

We spent an amazing weekend on Thursday. We went to a more homemade bachelorette party and we had exactly what we needed at our disposal: space, games, comfort. The fact that the rooms are in a different building from the rooms/kitchen helped a lot! Let's go back in the summer to enjoy the pool for sure! A special thank you to Pedro for all the friendliness and flexibility with our plans!

We loved staying at Americo’s house. It was in a stunning location with beautiful views as far as the eye can see of the Douro valley. The house sits in well loved landscaped gardens, with a lovely pool and outside sitting/eating area. There is a bonus area with fruit trees. The house is well furnished, cosy and comfortable. It was plenty of room for two small families. Our hosts were so kind and communicated well throughout the process. We did have problems locating the house, even following the instructions (Apple Maps sent us to the wrong location). But the hosts were patient. It’s a bit of a drive to go to larger sight seeing attractions and very windy for non-confident drivers. But for us it was perfect - we had all we needed in a 20 minute radius and drove to Porto for one day (it’s a 50 minute drive). The house and location is stunning and the hosts welcoming - I would definitely return and recommend to others!

It was everything 5*, from the appointment in which they removed all the existing doubts, to the checkout. The breakfast was very well stuffed and was well worth the value. The friendliness and serviceability were points in favor. The house was very well arranged and clean. We surprised by the positive everything in this stay. It was a few days but they were worth it . The Quinta is beautifully set, prepare yourself for stunning views. Our party of 8 with four kids much enjoyed the wide grounds, garden, pool and the cozy house. Cidalia is an amazing host! Thank you very much, we hope to be back.

Accommodation to enjoy it at all times, every corner very cared for and with many nice details. Located outside Amarante, in a very quiet area. Unbeatable barbecue and pool area, ideal for spending a few days with the family. The house is not very big, but it is well used and lacks nothing. On the other hand, Paulo's attention is worthy of praise, caring at every moment of our well-being, and counting on the help of wonderful neighbors who made us the stay very pleasant and pleasant. Without a doubt, the quality/price is more than recommended, we would repeat with our eyes closed now that we know Paulo and his surroundings. And another thing, let's discover the green wine of the area, how rich! 🤤😃 Thank you very much for everything, we will come back.

Amazing house and facilities, beautiful views from the pool across the valley. Madalena went out of her way to help us when we drove up the wrong road and was very quick to respond to questions . Would definitely recommend to anyone.

An unforgettable week, without a doubt a place to return because without a doubt that made us feel at home, highlighting the warmth and warm welcome from the parents of the sara and Dona Margarida, an exceptional place for those who want to spend a relaxing moment in the family and rest, a very complete house, without pointing anything, cleaning without any pointed details, well situated and private. Stress the good communication with Dona Sara who always responded quickly to any questions on our part. Thank you for everything.

We spent 15 days in the house and were delighted. The hosts are very helpful and kind and were great. The house is very comfortable and is very well equipped, it does not lack anything( well, a slightly more modern TV) the area is beautiful and there is a lot to visit. Above they admit dogs and the mias have enjoyed on the estate as locas. The photos do not honor the house. Thank you for everything Very , highly recommended.

I spent the weekend in this house with friends and it was excellent. The outdoor space is great for conviviality, with a very pleasant pool. The kitchen is well equipped, which we highly valued since we like to cook in a group. The fines machine was an extra fun! As for the owner, we don't have enough words to praise Tiago, his sympathy and availability. The village was impeccable in all interactions, always considerate and helpful.

Great place to spend a rainy weekend. The fireplace, the cosy livingroom and the books were priceless. The house exceeds expectations. The fact that we could bring our two little dogs with us was a great plus. Very nice surroundings, great views and awesome food at the recommended restaurants.

We loved our hosts. We loved the boat. Very clean and comfy. We had the host take us up river in a 4 hour tour that was wonderful. We made the mistake of thinking that the boat was docked in a larger town, closer to the wine country with restaurants and things we could walk to from the boat. It was very isolated in a small quiet town. If your looking for that you will love it .

We had a pleasant stay in Manuel's house. We stayed 8 days with my family. My children being very young (1 year and 2 years), we enjoyed the house for a long time! It's suitable for children. Be careful with the pool around which there is no protection for the little ones. So you have to open your eyes. But other than that everything is fine. The view from the house is beautiful. Manuel is very responsive and flexible. A housekeeper visits almost daily to help us maintain the house. Thank you Manuel and maybe see you soon! Nicolas

Lovely house well furbished with all your needs. Relaxing neighborhood bit tricky to get to but once your there is beautiful views and worth the drive.
