Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Marloth Park

Highly recommended holiday let in Marloth Park. The house is a substantial and attractive building with four very nicely-appointed bedrooms; two being en-suite and one with its own terrace overlooking the gorgeous garden and the path down to the Crocodile River with its hippos and view to the Kruger National Park. The drive to the Park is about half-an-hour and Stadigies is the perfect place to which to return. 

It is incredibly peaceful (except when monkeys come to visit!) and has solar panels to provide power despite SA’s notorious load-shedding. The ice machine was another huge plus for us. Debra was kind enough to send a ‘sensitive’ detergent from the other side of the country to the wonderful housekeeper, Mitta, which demonstrates why she is a Superhost and the house a ‘Guest Favourite’. It is certainly our favourite holiday let so far!

We loved staying here and will be back. The house is beautiful and spacious. The house was free of clutter and was pretty safe for my toddler. Gary was amazing at communicating and even highlighted his concerns about my toddlers safety on the deck as soon as I booked and came up with solutions for a safe place for him to sleep. Thanks Gary for a lovely stay and thinking ahead for my little one.

We had such a lovely stay, everything was perfect, clean showers and rooms, the sheets were clean to the T, the Wi-Fi was working perfectly. We had a time of our lives, thank you so much for the lovely stay :)

Simply magnificent, we had the experience of a lifetime for us Swissies at Ebony House. It’s spacious, clean without too much „schnickschnak“ and quiet. We only heard the Lioness roaring before bedtime and Elefants walking past while eating on the porch. Mjejane Game reserve is beautiful and Jared is just the BEST!

We really loved our stay. The house is clean & spacious, great amenities and fresh linen & awesome coffee machine. Sindy that comes in daily was a bonus. The games room was good entertainment for the kids! Very convenient to have a well equipped upstairs braai room, especially on the rainy days. I will surely recommend this house!

We had a wonderful time at Sharon’s place in Marloth Park. The house is absolutely stunning and comes with everything to make your stay comfortable. It is definitely one of the best places I’ve stayed in, in Marloth Park (and in any Airbnb for that matter). Sharon is a lovely host. Her communication is great and she did everything in her power to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely be back when we visit Marloth again. Highly recommended.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The location is ideal for exploring the Kruger National Park, with easy access to entrances. The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From ample drinking water to a fully-stocked kitchen, every detail was taken care of. Thoughtful items like insect repellents showed the hosts’ attention to guest comfort. We were informed ahead of time about potential power outages, which helped us plan accordingly and ensured there were no surprises. The real highlight of our stay was the unique opportunity to interact with wildlife right at our doorstep. Feeding impalas, kudus, blue wildebeest, warthogs etc. was an unforgettable experience. The private jacuzzi was the perfect way to relax, especially given the hot weather. The air-conditioning in all the rooms ensured we slept comfortably at night. The outdoor bathroom was another delightful feature. The 3 ensuite bedrooms made the unit spacious and ideal for groups!

One could get used to going to work in the morning and driving past beautiful wild game all the way. Lovely place.

Beautiful cottage with lots of space. Friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended.

The only issue we had was that there was no electricity when we arrived. This was not our host's fault but part of the load shedding policy of the government electric power agency. There was emergency lighting and cooking facities available. Our host was not in the country at the time but kept in contact and was responsive.

Nice place, well located, beautiful decoration, confortable and extremely friendly hosts. Kudos for René and husband.

Leon made us feel at home when we first got there we were welcomed with a homemade cake and champagne apon arival as it was our honeymoon the Host would pop up and tell us where we could go for the day and exciting places to visit. We enjoyed our time there and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit marloth park.

Wonderful host welcomed us in person when we arrived. The cleanest lodge that we ever encountered Small details to the needs of visitors made a difference..e.g. water and milk in the fridge..fly stick and proper braai utensils and a laundry rack outside Clean water in the splash pool The place was awesome with all the animals visiting us. State of the art aircons and fans installed Excellent safety systems in place True value for money...do not just read the review, please experience this home away from home! We loved staying there. Zad and Christine were the perfect hosts. The crocodile river just a few steps away, private pool, it was an amazing getaway. I will definitely book again.
