Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Marotiri

We enjoyed a lovely two night stay at Nadia's property. The section is huge and there were plenty of indoor or outdoor activities to keep the children busy.

We traveled around New Zealand for a month and this was one of our favorite homes. It was private, peaceful, clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. Jordan was very responsive to our needs, even welcoming us with chocolate and milk. I'd highly recommend this place!

My group and I had a great time at this house. it was easily able to accommodate 10+ adults and had space for all of us to relax and make the most of our time there. Barry was a great host, very responsive to messaging and flexible with our groups requests. We would happily come back.

On our last we talked about it has started to feel like home. It is well lit , a full utility kitchen and really well maintained home.

Awesome set up. Group of 4 adults and 4 kids age 6m-9 years for 3 nights. Accommodation set up and open plan general area was perfect. Walks and biking and tennis all from the front door plus great burger and fish from the general store. Easy drive to Taupo for an action packed second day with all the adrenaline you need 15 mins away. Great spot for a little holiday

Absolutely perfect spot to stay for the Tarawera Ultra Trail event, could not be closer to the finish line area and in general super close to the park, playground, lake and eat street restaurants. A couple of things to note would be the noise from bars late on weekend nights. It’s not terrible but you can definitely hear it. Also the apartment had no salt, pepper, cooking oils etc those sort of helpful things for cooking your own meals, and no beach towels provided either. Just stuff to be aware of! Kristin was a very helpful and responsive host.

My husband and I were in town for the NZ Ironman. The location was absolutely perfect. Liz and her partner were very kind and welcoming. Would definitely recommend if visiting Taupo!

Outstanding stay at this cute air bnb. Very modern, tidy and cozy. Had everything we needed for a young family of four. Hosts were lovely and great communication. Delicious shortbread on arrival didn't last long! 😋

Amazing place great view highly recommended

We stayed at Selena’s during the Ironman event. The location was peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle (during IM) of Taupo town, but still within a convenient 10 minute drive. The accomodation is very modern, clean and comfortable, bed was a king size which made for a great sleep. Coffee filter maker and aircon were a feature. Highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant staying at Kevin’s place. Family competing in the Iron Man, and perfect location to watch and cheer them on 😁. Beautiful apartment, gorgeous views. Rick and Louisa were absolutely incredible hosts. The apartment has been absolutely spectacular for hosting our ladies weekend with plentiful suggestions shared to make our trip even more enjoyable! The apartment has everything we needed with beautiful amenities. The kitchen was a masterpiece with ample bench top space, lovely big cabinets and great cooking facilities! It’s very obvious Rick and Louisa hold a very high standard of care and attention to detail to ensure the apartment is exceptional! If you’re looking for a place to stay in Taupo that’s private, modern, spacious, very comfortable with beautiful touches throughout then I cannot recommend this place and Rick and Louisa as hosts enough! One of my best experiences to date using air bnb!

Great place in a nice spot would stay again

Great space - excellent location! Comfortable and nice touches. No hair dryer available but other than that it has exceeded our expectations. Lovely venue! Will stay again.

In terms of cleanliness and beauty, the house and environment were excellent. I highly recommend staying there and enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the house.

Walking distance to restaurants, and they will be building a Woolworths nearby soon. Was so peaceful watching the river flow by from the balcony.

Great location. Walking distance to the lake and restaurants. There was a night market in the park on Thursday night. The apartment was nice and has everything you need. The owner gave good instructions and is very friendly. Was comfortable and I enjoyed my stay.
