Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Massanutten

Great place to stay, especially if you have kids and/or dogs. There are many outdoor activities for the kids and the upstairs bedroom has many toys to entertain them as well. There were place settings geared towards my daughter and son individually. They also loved the little treasure hunt set up for them. Water and food bowls were set up for our dogs, as well as a dog bed and covers on the couches for them. It was very relaxing for adults with many options to enjoy the property, whether inside or outside on the various decks (one is enclosed which is great for dogs), in the hot tub, or the fenced in grass area (also had seating).

Seth and Carla were extremely responsive during our stay! We loved how many beds this house had and we were able to all spend time together while comfortably being seated around tables/living rooms! We wish the fire pit had seating or that fireplaces worked, but we loved this property and its proximity to wineries and ski resorts!

We stayed at this charming home during our recent family ski break. The home is extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Jo was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the location. It is a few minute drive to base camp and walkable to the playground (huge plus with our kids). Each evening we could see deer just a few yards away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering this house.

Oxana and Jeff were responsive and friendly. The place was easy to find with ample parking. The interior was spotless with plenty of space to lounge. Oxana provided lots of local recommendations. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Second time staying - a really solid Massanutten weekend option!

The setting of the home was breathtaking!!! The mountain was beautiful and the open patio was perfect to see the moon and stars at night! We were thinking there was too little light on the patio when we arrived but we know now it’s intentional. The home was spacious and had everything we could have needed. Hot tub was amazing and we can’t wait to return to Lost City!!

Karen is an amazing host, she goes above and beyond in her service to her guests. We spent 2 nights at Karen’s place, and loved the quiet neighborhood, and the vintage touches all through the house. The house was very clean and cozy. It was the perfect place for three of us long time lady friends to meet and relax and catch up on each others’ lives, and enjoy the coffee from the nicely stocked coffee bar. We will be back if we have a chance to be in the area again.

Loved it here! Very convient and there were lots of recommendations with what to do in a binder at the house. Host was very accommodating! Very responsive quickly which is great. There were toys and games here for the kids, my daughter had such a blast! Definitely wish we booked for more time here to enjoy the fireplace outside and see what more there was to do but we were just passing through so booked it for one night. Would definitely stay here again!

Very homey place, plenty of space and high ceilings make it feel even bigger. Plenty of space for multiple people to stay as well as a full kitchen with spices and dishes provided. Suzy was a very polite host and I definitely consider her place, especially if you are hitting the mountains and hikes. Also the water pressure in the shower was amazing, definitely recommend here!

Well kept house and looks just like the photos!

Lawrence’s place was perfect for my boyfriend and I. We stayed for 6 days and it was the perfect size as well as in a perfect location for us. The place was equipped with essentially anything you would need during your stay, making it extremely accommodating for many needs. We would happily stay here again!

Jen’s place is perfect for an escape from the public, while close enough to Shenandoah and Charlottesville and Culpeper for adventures. She was extremely attentive and responsive, making us feel welcome from the start. Would recommend to anyone.

This was a great Airbnb! Very spacious and very clean. It's in a great location between Harrisonburg and Luray. The neighborhood was very quiet and Sara provided great instructions. We'll definitely stay again if we come back to the area. Loved Luray Caverns!

This was my second extended stay and it was twice as nice! I felt right at home. Carrie is a great host, proactive and responsive with communication. It snowed during my stay, and she was very conscientious about making sure I was able to come and go as needed--though I was happy to stay indoors and cozy :) 10/10 recommend!

Great location! Very cozy apartment! Steps up to apartment are a bit steep and narrow, though.

Had a restful one night stay while in town for a two day event. Eric was very communicative and welcoming when we needed a late evening arrival. The apartment was just as described in the listing and photos, with very comfortable beds too! Would be happy to stay here again in the future, and hope to have more time to enjoy the outdoor space!

Staying with Joy was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, and Joy was very responsive. Highly recommended!

The perfect location for my husband and I to attend the college ski & snowboard races going on at Bryce Resort. Charmingly remodeled, Molly’s place was spotlessly clean and uncluttered, leaving plenty of space for all our winter gear! The beds and linens were very comfortable which made for quite a few cozy mornings sleeping in. The unit is directly beside the slopes and golf course, so you can’t beat the convenience no matter what time of year you come.

We had a great stay at Lakshmi’s place at Bryce Resort. It was cozy, clean, and had comfortable beds. We will try to reserve this condo again when we return to Bryce.

We were here for a brief weekend getaway to go snowboarding with the family. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was ski in/out with only a 5-6 minute walk to the bunny slope and lifts. The bed was very comfortable.

This was our second time at Chris’ place, and we will be back for a third. Anytime I see reviews with returners, it’s always a stand out for me. Chris’ place is cozy, clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place for my family to stay as we took on the slopes at Bryce. A true ski in-ski out. A couple of highlights: 1. His kitchen is stocked with all the supplies you need to make food in! Bryce Resort only has a few restaurant options that tend to get crowded, so when we opt to stay in and cook, it’s nice to have a place that has it all! 2. We went just after Christmas, and Chris had a beautiful tree and outside lights out! It was so festive and lovely. 3. He had already gotten the fireplace ready for our first use which made it so easy to light and enjoy. 4. The bed is incredibly comfy. I slept so soundly! 5. He had updated the sink from our last visit to this one. It’s a beautiful addition. Would absolutely recommend! Thanks again, Chris!

Doug’s place was great. It was very quiet and private. It had a very nice view. Had everything we needed to cook. We definitely recommend Doug’s place.

This is a beautiful, clean, happy townhouse! Absolutely perfect, and the fact that there were two twins (pushed together to make a king upstairs) and a king downstairs guaranteed privacy for the two couples that stayed here. The place has everything! Washer/Dryer, full kitchen (we are cooks so we absolutely used the kitchen), comfy living room and dining room, pool and jacuzzi (yes, the fireplace does emit heat). There is a regular coffee pot (my preference), but we had gone out and purchased Keurig pods because we thought it had a Keurig - those are fine if you open them and use them like regular coffee grinds), and I brought a blow drier because I didn't think one was there (there was a blow drier downstairs). No suggestions for improvement whatsoever. Be mindful that the check in and check out are flawless, but you really must adhere to the timelines established by the owners. 4-6 check-in. FANTASTIC PLACE!

Check in was easy and fast, no issues. The unit was nice and cozy, adequate towels, kitchen, everything. Parking was super easy with lot right off the entrance. Location is right off the ski slopes and walking distance to the lodge and restaurant. Alesia reached out before check in to make sure we knew what to do and we're good to go. No complaints, great experience!
