Cabin holiday rentals in Matanuska Glacier

Great cabin style house! The hot tub was EPIC to enjoy at nighttime while looking at Alyeska ski resort mountain and the stars. Just a heads up - the patio door DOES LOCK lol. We actually locked ourselves out one night while in the hot tub (it was 20 degrees outside), so we called the host in a panic to get some help. They were super responsive and got us back in the house in like 2 minutes. We were super grateful for that. Overall the house is a in a great spot. Really close to the grocery store. There are plenty of supplies in the home. This was money well spent.

Mackenzie's cabin was mostly exactly as described. The only exception was the third bed. While she described ladder access to all beds which is accurate the third bed is located in a small nook above a storage area. In order to be comfortable in this bed one must not have any trace of claustrophobia. Otherwise the cabin was beautifully decorated and clean. The hot tub did seem like it needed a water change or chemical adjustment, there was an excessive foam layer when the jets turned on, in addition to debris from the trees and foliage around on the bottom of the hot tub. The hot tub cover was pretty water logged making it heavier to remove and place back on.

We loved that his place had 4 bedroom with plenty of beds and they were so comfortable. I also loved that it had 2 separate living rooms for our large group.

Perfect for a weekend staycation for my partner and I, we had a blast and didn’t want to leave. Everything was as beautiful as the photos, super private and out in the woods. Polina is very attentive and helpful. Don’t hesitate, just book!

It was a beautiful place to stay and in the morning we saw sheep on the mountain from our cabin. The private helicopter tour was AMAZING. It was an experience I will never forget. Mark was down to earth and knowledgeable about the area. He took us to spots so we saw all that we wanted to. Highly recommend you splurge for a flight.

The condo was perfect! Great location plenty of room and amenities were great. Very clear instructions and everything went smoothly. Beautiful location and very convenient.

This place is like a little slice of heaven. Very quiet location, felt secluded and not at all like being in someones backyard. It was easy to find, easy to park, cozy to hang out in. I wouldn't be surprised if it is one of the best accommodations available in Hope. If im ever down again this will be the top of my list for staying.

This is my third stay at this location. I absolutely love it for it’s peaceful and quiet surroundings. I will certainly be back again!

Beautiful setting and very clean and comfortable space. Perfect for our little staycation.

The place was great. The kitchen was amazing. It was great to have laundry on site. The Bathroom has a very nicely updated. The only issues we found while there—which was not the cabin’s fault— we both have bad backs, was the bed was not very comfortable – was the bed and the couch were not comfortable for us. If you’re old or have a bad back, maybe this isn’t the best for you. Otherwise this place was amazing!

This was the second time we stayed at these cabins and both times were great! Easy to heat in the middle of February and hosts were accommodating and pleasant to chat with. Beautiful location, surrounded by mountains.

What an amazing view! The windows and deck were constants during our stay. The sound bar and gas stove helped us create the warm and comfortable vibes we were seeking. The fact the it was just an over hour outside of Anchorage was a complete plus. It allowed our long weekend to be a fuller one.

Had a lovely getaway weekend here. The space was cozy and clean and Sharon was very welcoming.

Awesome location in a dark, quiet area just outside town. We made dinner and curled up next to the mini wood stove (not needed for heat, but we just miss having one) and watched movies. David was great to work with and has a lovely place with a great view. We would definitely stay here again!

Theresa & Bob made us feel like we were visiting family. "Grandma's place" has an absolutely stunning view. They have taken so much time to make a great things-to-do binder. Their place is extremely comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Alaska is such a big state to visit we didn't mind the extra 10 or 15 minutes of driving to get into town. Lastly, we were lucky enough to see the local family of moose (One cow and two calves) and handful of times and even once a Bull was hanging with them as well even with it being hunting season and most doing a good job of hiding. We will most definitely be checking if this cabin is available the next time we make it up to Alaska. A true gem to find.

Short drive away from hatcher pass. Cozy log cabin with comfortable bed. Lots of road noise situated right next to a busy intersection and gas station, but an excellent location for access to the mountains

This location was perfect for our large crew of guys traveling for work. It had everything we could have hoped for and Susanna was wonderful to work with. When our trip dates changed, she was more than willing to accommodate and allow the air bnb reservation to change. We will be staying here again!

Great super clean place in a quiet, serene location. The sound of the Little Susitna river behind the cabin was very relaxing. location is very convenient for day trips to Denali, Anchorage, Palmer, and numerous great fishing spots along the Parks Highway. This place will not disappoint! We hated to leave but know it is there for future visits!

Amazing stay as always! This was our 3rd time staying and I can’t recommend it enough. Beautiful cabin in a beautiful place! The back yard is immaculate with lots of room for our pups to run. Thanks Scott for another amazing trip!

This is our second stay in the cabins at AAU. The cabins are very nice, clean, and private. The continental breakfast is a big plus! Lots of choices. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Wasilla.

A+ enjoy a peaceful cabin retreat with beautiful views of the mountains. Nicely appointed interior that’s perfect to snuggle up in a blanket by the fire. Professionally cleaned and rustic interior. Sheets were soft and we slept well. A perfect home away from home for a work trip. Was able to participate in video conferences on the fast Starlink wifi internet.
