fantastic place & hosts. kind and responsive hosts. accommodated our 5 year old daughter with an extra cot turned into a super cozy bed in a nook. the kitchenette is well stocked. they also let us borrow one of their sharper knives and cutting board to cut some fruit we bought. amazing views of both coastlines and the stars on a clear day. as advertised it is a shared space, more so for noise as there is a physical divide between the living room and their kitchen.

This is the second time with Glenn. We are anxiously awaiting our next visit.

We couldn’t ask for a friendlier host or a more beautiful, unique, comfortable and stunningly decorated place to stay in Paia. This is the antidote to a cookie cutter big resort stay, with all the benefits of a truly local vibe and host. Will definitely stay here on our next trip to Maui! Thank you Dave!

We had a wonderful first ever visit to Maui in Kihei at Lindy’s. She is helpful kind and welcoming. As everyone says it’s central to many places. A walkable part of the island. Kamala Park/sunset viewing 3 blocks away. Beaches south and snorkeling in Makena and Waimea within 15min. Lindy has 2 beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella. A lovely sunny garden table & chairs to drink coffee in the morning and star viewing at night. A soft bed for daily naps. Plenty of shampoo, conditioner and gentle shower gel for showers after beach time. Everything was clean and cared for and property was secured. Very thankful for a parking spot in her driveway for the rental car. It’s an enough room for a couple, but maybe not big enough for 2 friends or a small family. Thanks for sharing the space with us!

We enjoyed knowing Lee and Sandra were always there if needed and very helpful! We felt right at home the whole time. Very clean, gorgeous garden and home.

Sandra & Lee have created a beautiful little oasis in their manicured and yet very homey property. The gardens, the 9’ salt water pool, the morning bird songs, and the attention to detail make this a “home away from home” kind of stay. I really appreciated the convenient proximity to all of the Maui day-trip locations. You don’t have to worry about getting stuck in traffic on the Pali like a stay on the Lahaina-Kaanapali side often imposes. Bordering on Wailea, it’s only a couple of minutes (walk or drive) to so many perfect sunset spots, fabulous beach walks and dining/shopping options. I won’t hesitate to book their place again when I return to Maui, and I’ve been to Maui over 30 times, so I know the island well! Thanks so much Sandra and Lee! You’re the hosts with the most!

We can't recommend this place enough! Truly a relaxing oasis. The location was quiet but close to everything you might want to do, the pool was pristine and the perfect temperature. The bed was big and cozy, the shower giant and luxurious. The outdoor kitchen area was fantastic for making a fresh breakfast and the beach chairs were the best for reading poolside. We will be back!

Todd was responsive when messaged and the stay was pleasant. No AC but the nights are cool and the ceiling fans are strong (and have remotes). It was nice to have a little stock of amenities to use and contribute to such as sun spray, laundry detergent, and other things that aren't the easiest to travel with. I was in the area for work and it was really nice to have a quiet place to stay that was away from the tourist hubbub. I wouldn't recommend this place without some vehicle accommodation from the get-go; the nearest bus stop is about 1 mile away, same as the nearest grocery store. The location is beautiful, though, and I really enjoyed all the times I walked and driven.

Lori's place is wonderful. Everything is clean and high quality. Even the snacks were high end. There is no washer/dryer, but Lori offers full service. I wouldn't normally take her up on it, but she even washed some clothes because I was planning to wash them. Highly recommend her little respite house and the beautifully decorated private patio with lounge chairs. Kula is a very beautiful area of Maui. Some Airbnb's are managed by companies now and can be run down, but Lori's place is the real deal how Airbnb was intended.

This was a great, last minute find when our plans changed. It was exactly what we needed and in the right location. The place is nice and the patio/backyard is beautiful.

Everything is clean. House is cute and cozy. Easy street parking. Bonus tip, get to play with a cute cat.
