We were Met by George on arrival who couldn’t be more helpful, he made us feel right at home and gave us loads of information on the local area. The cottage was lovely and really well equipped. My daughter made good use of the jacuzzi. This is a really wonderful place and worth every penny, highly recommend for family get away or couple retreat. Thank you

Bentfield is a fabulous place to stay in a beautiful location. There was more than enough space for our extended family. We particularly enjoyed the outside (but covered) seating area for a BBQ and of course the hot tub. The house has everything you will need for a great holiday.

Had a lovely stay at the Bay. Great spot right across from the beach. Lots to do for kids and families. Very comfortable rooms, and a great space for relaxing with family between the hot tub, cosy dining area and cosy living room. Would definitely stay there again.

This cottage is just perfect! We were so surprised that Shallow Cottage is more beautiful than the pictures display. The owners are very nice and available if we needed them. We really enjoyed the location as it is on a working farm. Spotless and very beautiful! Thank you and we will be planning to stay again next year.

We loved our stay. The house (Byre) is beautiful and far more spacious than photos give credit for. Added bonus for us, wheelchair accessable from patio doors into kitchen/dinning/lounge area. Wheelchair accessible into downstairs bathroom/shower and bedroom. There is a shower stool in cupboard next to bathroom. The upstairs landing area has a cosy couch/snug between bedrooms and upstairs toilet/Shower room. Beautiful scenory surrounding Cottages and we all completely felt at home and relaxed instantly. House very clean and fresh. Stranraer in walking distance with pavement at road end of cottages. Lovely walking options around cottages. Kitchen comes very well equipped and decent sized fridge freezer. We look forward to returning.

We had such a wonderful time during our stay at Little Peru. Robin was incredibly thoughtful and had taken care of every little detail, which made our experience even more special. The highlight of our holiday was, without a doubt, the alpaca trekking. Spending time with Javier, Diego, and Santiago was truly unforgettable—they were so gentle and full of personality. We absolutely fell in love with them! Our children had a fantastic time and enjoyed every moment of the experience. It was not only fun but also surprisingly calming and therapeutic—something we’ll all remember for a long time. The pod itself was perfect for our family of four—spacious, cozy, and very well equipped. We felt right at home. We’d love to return again in the future and would highly recommend Little Peru to anyone looking for a unique and heartwarming getaway.

This house was a perfect, restful home for the long weekend for me and my friends! After long days out walking, the kitchen and living room space were spacious and cosy, perfect to unwind whilst being a great social space. The rooms were all spotless and very tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfy and the black out blinds were a bonus! The garden and hot tub was the icing on the cake. We would definitely come back!
