Amazing stay at this beautiful castle. So exotic and impressive, we felt extremely privileged to be able to stay in such a place. The garden, the interior everything is so perfect… thanks to Colette for her warm welcome and thanks to Eric for this stay which we will remember forever!

A fantastic family chateau that accommodated 3 families comfortably, and even nicer in real life than in the photos. Large well kept grounds and loads of space to explore. There is plenty to do in the local area. Basic amenities within a few minutes' drive including a great riverside bistro in Daon, the nearby large town of Chateau-Gontier is 15 mins away while Angers is around 40 mins away for everything a city provides. Highly recommended!

A beautiful place to stay, moments from Laval. Hervé and Sandra were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough to make me feel at home and welcome. It’s a shame I was visiting on business, and didn’t have time to really explore the beautiful area and grounds around their Chateau,, something I intend to rectify when I am able to visit next time.

The host was supper friendly and offered us a bottle of wine which we shared upon checking in. He tried to make our stay as good as possible.

We loved our stay at Châteaux Bourbon and highly recommend it to anyone! We were only able to stay for one night, but thoroughly enjoyed every moment—especially the candlelit dinner and the delicious breakfast. The grounds and the château itself are absolutely beautiful, with a peaceful and serene atmosphere that makes it truly special. The hosts are wonderful, warm, and welcoming, and they have endless stories about the rich history of the site. They’ve done an amazing job maintaining its historic charm while making it comfortable and inviting. Just a quick tip—follow the signs that say Châteaux Bourbon as the Waze app and google maps take you past it and into the forest.
