Thank you Rebecca for a lovely restful stay - my second return this year so it must be good!! As before, it's a lovely sanctuary , cosy & so peaceful with the birdsong and countryside around. Especially so now the nights are drawing in. Lots to do & see locally too and thank you for the warm welcome an kindness. Everything perfect :)

The kids and I had the best time! Having the sea and beach on our doorstep was incredible. Fossil hunting, fishing, walks, amusements, great food and a very cute little cabin to call our home for 3 days. Waking up and seeing the sea every morning was the icing on the cake. Thank you Neil & Sarah for letting us enjoy some of the magic. We very much hope to be back soon.

We had a fantastic time staying at James and Emma’s. Whilst the location is tucked away off the normal path, their clear instructions made it easy to find. Their restaurant recommendations were also great and meant we found some real gems that we wouldn’t have otherwise known about. We would love to stay again if we were ever back in the area.

Stayed for 3 days over Christmas. Was absolutely lovely. The house was a great space and very relaxing. Great for families and children.

The pictures don't do it justice! We had a lovely weekend stay in the Rock Shack. The shack is located in a quite village and adjacent to a flowing river. It's very tranquil and is a great escape from the hustle and hustle. The Airbnb is equipped with everything you need, with some additional treats left by John and Jill. make sure you take them up on the baked bread offer - a lovely treat which adds to the charm of the place.

A wonderful stay! Brook Lodge is set in a beautiful, peaceful woodland location with a pretty garden. Clear directions and instructions on how to find the lodge etc. Location was perfect for us and our dog. The lodge is spacious and cosy with everything you need for your stay. It was absolutely spotlessly clean. The biscuits and fresh milk were a nice touch. Alison was a super host - quick responses to messages, popped by to check all was ok after arrival and was so friendly. We loved our stay and would definitely like to return! Thank you!

Eden lodge was perfect for our yearly getaway. The lodge is beautiful, lovely shower and fire place, garden is very spacious and great for the dog! Rob and Corin are great hosts, would love to stay again. Thank you 😊

A delightful place to stay. Warm and cosy, add benefit of being able to light the wood burner. We enjoyed playing the board games and relaxing. The shower is delightful and the kitchen has everything you need. The bedroom is stunning!

great stay in williton! the airbnb was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Me and my partner really enjoyed our time there the host was welcoming and everything was well-organized would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Lodge, spotless and had everything we needed and more. The underfloor heating made it so cozy we didn't want to leave. Very peaceful, beautiful area, not far from the town and seafront. Helen checked in via message to make sure we arrived and got in ok, very friendly and clearly wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. Check in was easy, clear instructions with photos. Would not hesitate to return or recommend.

An ideal location for local Christmas family visiting , so we didn’t have need for local pubs/restaurants, however useful info from previous guests was available. It’s a lovely little ‘cottage’ with all you need , loads of hot water , and a nice cool bottle of wine on arrival !

What a fantastic gem the Potting Shed was. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. A wonderful setting and had everthing we needed. Tamzin was on hand for any questions we had and we met her and her lovely friendly dogs. The bed was very comfy and the whole place was nice and warm. A super place to relax in and that is what we did! Thank you Tamzin.

Both Ruth and Adrian were extremely helpful and responsive to any questions I had about the area, for instance, the best restaurant. There was no need to ask any questions about the accommodation as everything was exactly as described and directed. Highly recommended without reservation.

Liz was a wonderful host: we checked ourselves in (there’s a keybox but the key had been left in the door for us) and Liz knocked on the door to say hi! She was so lovely and made us feel right at home. We were so impressed with the space: it is spacious and open, very clean and has everything we needed (including a couple of games to keep us entertained). The bed is really comfy, and it was perfect to go to sleep/wake up to the skylight window above us. Easy vicinity to get to all the sights we wanted to see by car. The instructions were helpful and clear so that we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived and we got exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful property, in a stunning location. The property is wonderfully presented, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. We’ll most definitely be returning to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Magical stay in the heart of Devon’s countryside! A true gem for those seeking peace, comfort, and a slower pace of life. Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to unwind, read, and reconnect with the simple joys of life. The location was great to explore South and North Devon at the same time. The cabin itself is beautifully designed, combining rustic charm with all the modern amenities you could need. The bed is incredibly comfortable—like sinking into a cloud after a day spent exploring the surroundings. Shelves lined with sooo many quality books make it a “must” to curl up with a good read by the soft glow of the stove fire and candles. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the host. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and generosity, a true “filoxenia”. Frances left us with delicious homemade treats that added a heartwarming touch (and a bit of sweet nostalgia with our favourite “gigantes”). We’ll definitely return soon!

Had an amazing stay at Gary and Lisa's for the new year period. Me and my partner came to dartmoor for a nice getaway and walk without breaking the bank. The host's were phenomenal and very proactive in letting us know instructions and making sure we got there and in okay. The place itself was IMMACULATE, not a speck of Dust in sight and was really refreshing to walk into. It's a self contained small home with bathroom (shower) bedroom, living room with television and good WiFi and a kitchen with oven and electric hob and even washer and dryer. (we didn't use these but I'm sure they worked) there's also a conservatory attached with dining table for extra space! the place was lovely, peaceful and remote but around a 10 minute drive from some breathtaking walks at the moors! the price was incredibly reasonable for the area and we would 100% stay again in the future! looking forward to it! couldn't recommend this place enough!

Spent a lovely few days here, lovely hosts. Very cosy getaway, clean well equipped and great water pressure/heating. Couldnt ask for anything more. Great for walks to the Tor and Chalice well and an easy walk to town. Will be back again.

Gorgeous building, in a great location to visit Dartmoor and the nearby towns. Good communication from the friendly hosts, who are nearby for any issues. We had a lovely time!

Lovely place and absolutely perfect spot. Very close to various of places to see. Lynsey was very accommodating and responded fast in messages. We truly enjoyed our stay ❤️
