We had a magical stay. Everything is beautiful, the setting, the accommodation, the beach, the sona... even better than the photos suggest. Uta is a very considerate host, and kind and willing to give good advice on things to do nearby. i highly recommend it. if we have the opportunity we will be happy to come back.

Great place to stay! Has everything needed for a great vacation and the location is superb. Bikes and boats are provided for free. We really enjoyed exploring the lake by boat. We are looking forward to coming back one day :)

Comfortable cottage with lots of space. We had a great week here. Relatively clean. We found all the necessary equipment in the kitchen (but cottage-like some a little old). The barrel sauna and a lot were lovely in the winter, and the host also prepared an opening for us upon request. Friendly and helpful hosts :) We had our own drinking water with us because of the taste of the water, but I understood that there would be an improvement in the water soon.

The cottage was in a great location in privacy! I would have loved to have stayed here longer. The sauna provided good steam and there was just the right amount of space in the cottage. The dog was also comfortable with freedom and a shallow beach where you could wade. Highly recommended!

A cabin in a quiet lakeside location. The house has absolutely everything you need for life. There is a sauna near the house. There is a boat and you can fish. The nearest town and supermarkets are a 12-minute drive away. At first the host didn't respond to messages and we were a little worried. But in 24 hours, she sent check-in instructions. The instructions are a little unclear and lacks the coordinates of the house. Maybe if she was in English it would be better because the translation from Finnish is not perfect. If you are coming from the south, the gps takes you to a dead end to a closed barrier. It can be opened, or you can drive in from the turn that is to the north. Please note, the listing says that cleaning is not included in the price, but the cost is not included. It turned out that you need to pay extra for cleaning another 120 euros!!! We left the house in perfect condition, not clear why such a high price. Overall, I liked everything.

We spent a lovely cottage weekend enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and sauna. The stay was a short drive from services like a grocery store. There was a storm over the weekend and we were at the cottage for almost a day without electricity, but Markus handled it in the best way and without asking.

Wonderful place, beautiful house with funny details. Nice environment with private beach. Spacious and comfortable house, perfect for family get together. Working kitchen, with enough of everything. It was an experience to stay here. The hosts great, I admire all the work they put in this unique place.

We had a quiet and relaxed time in the house. Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with our travel date, as it was heavily thawed shortly before we arrived and then froze again. The result was a quite sophisticated approach via heavily icy forest paths. With four-wheel drive no problem and on site you could easily get along with spikes. But you already think twice about whether you have to go shopping by car or not. After it had snowed again, this was no longer an issue, probably noticed with four-wheel drive ! The house is quietly located directly on the lake, if you are looking for a break from everyday life and relaxation, I can only recommend winter as a travel time. We used the cold days for the sauna and made a few trips to the beautiful frozen lake landscape. Sanna was always easily accessible and provided us with information about the location and everything around us well 👍 In terms of amenities, we didn't miss anything and we could imagine coming back 👋👋👋

Everything was perfect. The location is great, close to hiking trails and the beach. The apartment was very cozy, cozy, and clean. Good guidelines. Larisa wanted us to have a good time.

Awesome place and great host. We had some problems with the electricity, but Teemu handled it quite fast - during the Christmas days.

The house was exactly what we were looking for: a cabin in the middle of the woods, in full contact with nature, perfect for admiring the lake area. We were right on a lake practically everything to ourselves, we also took a nice ride on the lake with the rowboat (there was also the engine but we didn't use it) and the sauna all to ourselves! Awesome!!! In the evening, eating outdoors in silence was wonderful. When we returned to the house we turned on the fireplace, beautiful. The children especially appreciated the darts and the pier on the lake. The house had all the comforts, even if the bathroom was external and organic: a hole with a bucket underneath, where you had to throw fertilizer between times, but it was all reported and it was also fun! The only problem was the cleanliness, because the house was not very clean, but so in the middle of the woods we could safely bear: we cleaned a little and adapted. In general, I highly recommend it!!

Cute cottage in an ideal setting. I was afraid of the cold at the end of October but the electric heaters worked very well! Comfortable sofa bed, just the toilet outside at this time of year is not necessarily convenient, but the view of the lake clears everything else!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cottage! It was clean, spacious, and perfect for large groups. The place felt brand new, and the view of the lake was simply breathtaking. The BBQ area was the best we’ve ever had at a cottage, and we loved having a pool table to enjoy. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The lake itself was large and beautiful, and rowing there was an unforgettable experience. The hot tub and sauna were also fantastic additions. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful and homely place

As described, the house sits alone on a peninsula in the lake. The last 3 km lead via a forest path (easily accessible by car). The property offers ample space for activities of all kinds. Game and sports equipment is available but partly already heavily used. The house and other buildings are very nice and well appointed. Description and illustrated instructions for all devices are present. Everything works and there were no problems at all. Wi-Fi Internet is available and sufficient but not particularly fast. If several people want to stream, it's not enough. Outside Wi-Fi is available according to the description but did not work during our visit. A private jetty leads to the beautiful, clear lake. The boat is large enough for 4 people Only the provided (paid) motor is somewhat undersized. Rowing is sometimes faster😁. Overall a wonderful stay in the Finnish forest.

Great place to stay! We were a group of 5 ppl and 3 dogs and it was perfect for our new years get away from fireworks and loud city sounds. Still a few random fireworks before midnight but nothing crazy, so perfect for our needs. The sauna was a great size, the home was well equipped for lots of people, plenty of dishes and table space. The outside area and deck are also great for groups. There are a few other cabins/trailers in the same area so it’s not completely private, but it was still quiet. Great place to stay. Important to note: no freezer and outside grill is shared amongst other cabins.

Tassia's estate is characterized by a natural complex between forest, creeks and large meadow. The distances between the main house, sauna and jetty may be a little further than usual. But you can enjoy a lot of space and openness. Jetty, rowing boat and sauna are in good condition and functional. There is no material for fishing, etc. However, we can confirm the rich fish in the lake. The house is well equipped. In the kitchen you will find the most important things (various pans, coffee flask machine, French press, etc.). A base of spices, oil and vinegar is not or hardly available. We enjoyed the stay very much and maybe it is due to the openness that the "mosquito infestation" has kept within very narrow limits. Apéro and breakfast on the dock were always possible. We wish Tassia all the best and many more enthusiastic guests!

Paradise on Earth! Our stay at this beautiful lakefront property in Kangasniemi was nothing short of perfect. The location is incredibly peaceful and private, offering a true escape into nature. We loved having not one, but two saunas to enjoy—the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the surrounding area. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to serene lake views and being able to take a quick dip after heating up in the outside sauna was a highlight of our trip. One thing to note: linens and towels aren’t included, so be sure to negotiate those with the host beforehand if you need them. If you’re looking for a place to relax and recharge in total tranquility, this is the spot. We can’t recommend it enough!
