Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Minamifurano, Sorachi District

It was the first time in Obihiro in winter, but the room was warm and I had a pleasant time.

I came here with my family, very quiet and back to the nature. You can feel how owner care the guests, they prepare almost everything you need, the rice, the coffee, and a lot of lovely plates with different sizes that enough for a big family. We played the snow just in front of the house, however we can just wear tee indoor, very warm. The house is old, the equipments are really in good quality from the toilet and cloth dryer, owner prepared electric blankets for us etc, they live nearby so you will feel reliable, and replied to you in time. You can find a cafe and an onsen by car within 10 min. The only suggestion is you need prepare enough foods in advance before coming.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. This place is close to restaurants and supermarkets. It’s an easy walk to the bus stop for the local shuttle to the ski slopes. Plenty of space for a family of four. I think it would be a bit tight if you had more than six in your party. Only one bathroom. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Furano. Thank you. 😊

Kaoru was a wonderful host, and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. The place was equipped with everything you would possibly need, and all the baby toys were a bonus as we had a little one traveling in our group. The location was just what we needed. Very quiet and peaceful, out in the country, but with easy access to town and the resort. Kaoru was always quick to respond, was on site to check us in and was flexible with our check in time, and even sent us a huuuge detailed list of his very own recommendations of local knowledge of the area. We felt right at home, and was hard for us to leave this beautiful space. 10/10! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for everything Kaoru!!

We used a rental car to find a place to stay near Obihiro Airport. It was the best place for a family of four and is divided into two floors, so the use of each floor is clear. The parking space was also very easy to access, and the check-in process was also good. On the first floor, there was a cozy rest, and there was also a kitchen, so it was good to eat, and the second floor was exclusively for the bedroom, but I slept warmly even in the middle of winter. This is the best house in Obihiro.

Johnny’s place was amazing, and he was an amazing host! There is plenty of space at Kame House, and it has everything you need while giving you a taste of living in a more traditional Japanese home. It’s perfect for those with a car, who might need to do a bit of remote work, and want to try the small town life in Hokkaido. The wifi is fast, the heater is warm, the shower is plenty hot with excellent flow. The town has a bit of everything you might need very close by. Johnny provided a lot of helpful guidance on the house as well as the surrounding area - where places are located, when they close, what’s good, you name it. He even made time to hang out with us and introduce us to some local people and places. If only I had found this place earlier in my trip, I would have stayed here longer! This was by far the best part of a 5 week snowboarding/backcountry/sightseeing trip all over Hokkaido. I will never forget my experience with Johnny and Kame House, and I hope to visit again!

The cabin is very nice - recently renovated with a nice kitchen, bath area, and living room, and has covered parking. It’s within walking distance of downtown Biei and driving distance from several great ski areas. But most importantly for us, Noboru saved our trip! We slid our rental car on the ice into a snowbank and couldn’t get much help in English, so we reached out to Noboru. He came to us within five minutes, helped us get a tow truck, get our friends to the airport in time for their flight, and then drove us home after all was resolved. We are eternally grateful for his help and could not have managed that event without his help. Noboru is a true testament to Japanese hospitality - so kind and gracious and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful trip!
