Words and pictures can not properly describe this absolutely gorgeous property, you truly need to visit and experience it yourself. The only thing better than the natural beauty of Casa Del Rio, is the staff. They're informative, polite, well spoken and lovely people, from the wait staff at the restaurant, the lovely front desk attendants to the groundskeepers, every interaction we had was memorable. If you love nature, peaceful surroundings, but still be close enough to La Fortuna to enjoy everything this gorgeous province has to offer, don't overlook Casa Del Rio.

Good alternative to the high dollar resorts near Arenal. Didn’t realize it was part of a large development but was pleasantly surprised with the staff and the amenities. Great food and volcano views from the restaurant. Too far to walk into La Fortuna, so if you don’t have a rental car, you can get cheap Uber’s back and forth. Great stay and would recommend!

Everything at casa del rio was fabulous! The hotel is beautiful. Every staff member was so kind and helpful. The rooms were perfect for a family of 5. And the staff helped us coordinate everything we wanted to do while in la fortuna. I can’t wait to return

I could not write enough nice things about this place. It was gorgeous! It was more beautiful than the pictures. I was blown away by all the amenities that you had to offer. The restaurant was delicious and Manuel, the bartender, quickly became our favorite. Downtown La Fortuna was less than 5 minutes drive. Lots of great restaurants there too. My family fell in love with this place and can’t wait to come back.

We loved our stay at casa del rio. Truly this was a case of the reality being better than the pictures online. This boutique hotel is a hidden gem and an immersive rainforest experience with beautiful grounds and great hospitality. We loved our private patio and how convenient the close by restaurant and pools were. The complimentary breakfast is delicious and the restaurant staff was great. It truly is a unique stay and would be especially awesome for a destination wedding or family reunion. The staff was very responsive and went above and beyond to help us meet the needs of our toddler. Our toddler loved running around the soccer field and seeing the ducks on the pond. Hearing the river close by set a peaceful environment. The only critiques we had is that the water slide is a bit dangerous, though fun, and there were a lot of bugs (though this part of the authentic jungle experience).

The room was fantastic. The property was very well located in a close proximity to all attractions. Very nice property set in a beautiful garden, the room was very clean and comfortable. The breathtaking view of the volcano from the restaurant which we managed to see the whole thing was priceless. The large terrace with a beautiful view of the rainforest. The very friendly service and delicious breakfasts every morning were a nice addition. If I ever come to Costa Rica I will definitely stay there again. I will recommend this beautiful place to everyone.

This was one of the most beautiful resorts i have ever been to! the landscaping is stunning and all the pool areas are so well done. The staff were all amazing and the food at the restaurant was top notch. The kids loved the slide area and playing basketball at night. This place really has it all and is extrememly comfortable for the whole family. Highly recommend.
