Bohemian Firehouse-an authentic 1916 Firehouse

The Bohemian Firehouse was the living quarters for the men stationed there when it was built in 1916. It sits above a retail space which housed the firetruck. The charming brick building is in near original condition, despite surviving a major flood and a derecho. You'll love the gorgeous woodwork, vintage tile and light fixtures. But you'll appreciate some modern touches like air conditioning, an updated kitchen and smart tv. Still, it's easy to imagine the stories these walls could tell.

Just a quick mile (3 minutes) to the interstate makes this place close enough to be convenient and far enough to be quiet. Or, instead of hopping on the interstate, just continue on into the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids for business or pleasure. Luxurious 12 inch memory foam mattresses on each bed for exceptional rest. When you're awake, there's a Keurig and high speed internet (100 Mb).

Adorable Iowa City Cottage

Our charming and sweet two bedroom home is located less than 1.5 miles from downtown Iowa City and U of Iowa campus. It is tastefully decorated with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to comfortably relax, cook, spend time with loved ones, or use as a space to sleep and explore Iowa City. Our front yard has 2 chairs for a morning cup of coffee and sunrise. Our home is stocked with games and comfortable blankets for your use and has a large outdoor area with a screened in porch and fire pit.

Hawkeye Hog house. Is this heaven??? No, it's Iowa

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families up to 5.. I keep it small because I dont want big crazy parties.. its 36 miles from Kinnick stadium and 19 mile from down town cedar rapids and cedrel supper club is 7 mins away. Also 2 golf courses each 25 mins away.. Im right off the paved road .My place is also pet friendly with a large outside kennel and one smaller one inside.. it also has a washer drye, smoker, grill and a flat griddle if u like to cook breakfest..its perfect..

"The best Airbnb stateside!" according to one guest review. Just one block from NewBo Market in the heart of a vibrant neighborhood, this sparkling clean, cozy and eclectic space is the upper apartment of an 1890s era home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Once slated for demolition, the Heart House was fully restored (in a way that charms everyone) to include a first floor shop and a second floor apartment.
