Lovely host, went above & beyond for us, great stay, thank you so much.

This was without doubt one of the best airbnbs we have stayed in. The hosts Nee and Oyi are very friendly and welcoming. The place is very traditional and beautiful. Despite its antique feel, the bed is comfortable, the wifi works well and there is good water pressure. There is also netting available on the bed to keep mosquitoes away. They had also provided with mosquito coils so there werent a lot anyways. The property is very unique and beautiful with plants, and lots of decorations. They also have pets on the property - cats, ducks, roosters, hens, rabbits and fish. I would however recommend keeping ear plugs and an eye mask as the rooster can be loud early in the morning and the room gets bright as well. The breakfast is also very nice. Nee made eggs for us. there is also a selection of very delicious home baked pastries and cake. As well as fresh fruit and coffees and teas.I would highly recommend staying at Baan Suan Jantra.

Would have thought it was an airbnb and it turned out to be a great hotel with parking and a beautiful garden.Breakfast is also served daily, with a full range of varieties, with self help as well as the dishes you choose the day before.My room is on one side of the garden, open the door to the garden.The room is a little small, which makes it a bit difficult for me to put things away (I have a lot of things), because there are a few mosquitoes and insects in the garden, people who come should bring mosquito repellent.The hotel lady is very helpful and likes ~

we booked Darakorn villa at the very last minute and Isara was very flexible and helpful to make us feel very at ease, just like at home. darakorn villa is amazing. nested in a huge botanical park and along a river stream. so peaceful. Mrs Chan was there to welcome us. we went to buy food so she can cook a thai diner for us. we had great fun cooking with her. we managed to communite well. we lit a fire at night in the chimney as nights are fresh and relaxing best host and best local experience so far! thank you so much for having made this stop possible. see you in Mauritius hopefully one day Isara. best regards

Great place, great stay. The garden and cafe are lovely and exactly what I was looking for. I had no idea where to stay in Chiang Rai and opted for a more quiet neighborhood and that was good. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the center of town and that was manageable, with late night tuk tuk rides a couple of times.

This airbnb is just amazing. I have never stayed somewhere so nice before. I will definitely stay here if I’m in the area again. Everything in the room and property is so beautiful and idyllic and we loved the amazing breakfast with fresh French bread. They also had bikes to ride around the nearby village. It is also amazing to see and hear the animals (cows, cats and dogs, crickets, frogs, birds). It is truly like a paradise here. It’s the kind of place you would expect to be hundreds of dollars a night. Highly recommend

A very cute place! The whole building was well decorated! The staff is quite friendly as well. $500 key deposit was required, so please make sure you have enough cash!
