Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nelson County

Our stay at Wintergreen was wonderful! Jayme and Sean were super responsive and great hosts! The fire place and hot tub were great to enjoy. We will definitely be staying here again!

It was beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean and spacious and if he had any questions or needed help with something she was very responsive. It was a healing trip for our family and exactly what we needed. We hope we can return next year!

We had a lovely stay in "The Small House" over President's day weekend. The house was spacious enough for 5 guests and our dog. Loved that it was decorated for Valentine's day! The house was well situated in the valley so there was easy access to Wintergreen, hiking trails and all the breweries and wineries!!

Deborah was very responsive from day 1 until after check out, even when I asked for advice on a local place to host a Rehearsal Luncheon. Her house was beautiful and peaceful! There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The property was GORGEOUS! I wish I could've spent more time there. I hope to go back again sometime!

The home was very clean and charming. The labeling was helpful, especially in the kitchen where the open cupboard style and well labeled cabinets made cooking in an unfamiliar kitchen easy. I loved enjoying a cup of coffee in the brightly sunlit kitchen nook with lovely mountain views. The kids enjoyed the games on site. All four bedrooms were a good size and great for two families. It was helpful that Ashley provided the small household needed items that not all hosts supply including dish soap and dishwasher tabs, laundry soap, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, soap, and dish towels. The local guide Ashley provided was very helpful. We enjoyed time at a few of the local breweries Ashley recommended. Lots of wonderful memories were made on this trip to Wintergreen!

This house was amazing to stay at! The plan was just to find an Airbnb to stay at while we skied at wintergreen, but we ended up getting rained out and spent almost the whole time in the house. I was so fun the house is full of surprises and fun board games we weren't board for a minute! The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook!

This place was perfect for four adults and two kids—plenty of space and easy access to Lower Tyro. Just a heads-up: Lower Tyro doesn’t have lights, so night skiing can be a bit tricky, but you can still make your way down in the dark! The jacuzzi is great, there’s a nice grill on the deck, and plenty of games to enjoy. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy stay with easy slope access. One tip—consider picking up some extra firewood, as only a small amount is provided.

Perfect for a long weekend! Easy to walk to the market and slopes

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home! The huge windows provided stunning views of the slopes, and we loved watching the skiers. Each morning, we were treated to breathtaking sunrises. The house was full of thoughtful touches, like a guitar, ukulele, and even a telescope for stargazing. The location was perfect! Right across the street was a golf course where we could take our dog for walks along the cart path. After long days of skiing (including tackling the black diamond trails!), we enjoyed cozy family dinners in the fully stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed to make meals. The house was also super convenient, with plenty of charging stations so everyone could keep their devices powered. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we were well-rested for another day on the slopes. The neighborhood was peaceful, and parking was never an issue. This was the perfect home base for our ski trip, and we would absolutely stay again!

Great stay. Not updated, but extremely comfortable. Bed was great! We really enjoyed the fireplace. Everything we needed for a short stay. Small suggestion… get rid of the cable and tv and buy a smart tv for streaming. Thanks for a great stay and for allowing us a later checkout. Much appreciated.

Our stay at this Wintergreen, VA Airbnb was absolutely incredible! The views? Stunning. Absolutely stunning! The home was stocked with everything we could possibly need—from a fully equipped kitchen to a cozy fireplace setup with dry wood and fire starters. The furniture was super comfortable, the large dining area was perfect for gathering, and the bathroom was lovely. The host thought of everything—extra fluffy towels, a well-stocked laundry closet, plenty of coffee, snacks, and even thoughtful touches like makeup remover. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making our stay seamless. Most importantly, Becky was beyond helpful, kind, and truly caring. This is, without a doubt, the best Airbnb we have stayed in at Wintergreen. If this place is available for your trip—GRAB IT! You won’t regret it. 😊 Thank you for everything, Becky! Exactly as described. The place is clean, comfortable and well decorated throughout. The hosts are responsive and welcoming. If you’re in the area and have the opportunity to stay do not hesitate. We would return again and can highly recommend!

We were so impressed with our stay! The Captain’s Quarter was very cozy and clean. They had robes ready, a personalized welcome card, a thoughtful gift, and snacks ready for our visit. We went to 3 of the wineries they recommended and were within reasonable distance of either Charlottesville or Lynchburg.

Mary and Tyler’s Condo had spectacular views! The fireplace and unlimited amount of wood was a fantastic evening event. Plenty of room to move around with bulky winter gear and seating available 😁.
