Cottage holiday rentals in New Bern

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! My wife and I felt it was the perfect weekend getaway, and Carol showed great hospitality/communication. The place smelled as clean as it looked, and it was very well stocked. Couldn't have asked for a better time!

We had a great stay and appreciated the great hospitality! The location was fantastic for walking the beach, seeing sunrises, and getting away from the busyness. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the view, hot tub, ease of beach access across the street, and fenced areas for our pup to be out with us.

My mom and I had a wonderful week at the cottage, it was just as described and we were very comfortable there. Thanks to Joyce and her son Ron for trouble shooting the TVs. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The pair of Sandhill Cranes that visited a couple of times was a nice touch too.

We loved it, it was a very beautiful home outside and inside. Me and my wife were able to forget about reality for a little bit so that’s always great. She was very responsive and helpful. Great place to stay! Would love to stay again someday.

Great home in a nice peaceful area, had some trouble with the wifi which Carol quickly addressed and fixed. Local restaurant recommendations she provided were also great! Would recommend!

Elaine's cottage was such a lovely place to stay! It was charming, very clean and very comfortable for our family of four. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with basics and impeccably clean. The living room was very comfortable, as were all the beds, which had the softest, spotless linens. We also loved the seating area on the back patio--a great place to drink coffee and listen to the birds every morning. We loved the location--easy walking distance to the ferries, shopping, and some great restaurants (many with gluten free options--no problem finding GF dining if you have gluten intolerance and you stay here). Elaine was a very gracious host and excellent with communicating. We had a wonderful time and hope to stay here again in the future!

Matthew’s place is well-provisioned with beach gear and an easy walk to the beach. We liked the quieter side street. The outdoor Jenga set was a lot of fun and my son enjoyed cooking on the outdoor grill. There are lots of gates if needed to help keep young children or pets contained. The only item missing from the kitchen was ground coffee for their coffee maker. Plenty of other spices handy…. Bring your own shampoo. Thank you for sharing!

We spent Thanksgiving at Topsail this year and rented Cheryl’s house to have extra space for our family in addition to our home next door. The kitchen was well equipped. We had everything we needed to fix our Thanksgiving meal! The house does not feel much like a rental, but more like staying at a family member’s home. We very much enjoyed our stay and the spectacular views of the sunset!

Steve’s place is in a nice neighborhood with a great location, close to downtown Swansboro and all the restaurants & shops. Beautiful house with all the amenities you need. The living room fireplace is perfect for those chilly December nights. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs with additional area in neighborhood for quiet walks. Lots of sidewalks with very little traffic. It’s so nice to be able to find a pet friendly home that our dogs enjoy spending time at too. Will definitely be a repeat renter on our return trips to Swansboro.

Hilda was very helpful and responsive. Her home was perfect for our family vacation, we loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the views. The beach access is a short walk across the street. The home was very comfortable to stay in, a nice quiet neighborhood. Restaurants and grocery stores are only about 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Hilda!

We stayed a month in this air bnb while our condo was getting finished . Marla was very kind and always answered if we had a question. This was a great place to stay. our Grand daughter came for over night visit and we visited the park right down the street. We got to check out beautiful views at The marina. Marla place was so clean and pet friendly for our golden doodle. We were glad to find this place . I would refer anyone to stay at this nice cottage hosted by Marla she is a awesome host.

Great house across the street from the beach. They had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our time there.

This was our second stay at Chris's waterfront cottage. We were lucky enough to be here during the local Christmas holiday festivities in Oriental. Chris's place was so peaceful and serene. We can't wait to stay again!

The Cottage from Barbara abd Terry was perfect for our stay in New Bern. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The cottage has all you need for cooking and we liked the possibility to do laundry as well. It was luckily no problem to extend our stay for another night. I would book anytime again.

We had 8 adults in this space. It was perfect for us all. Everyone agreed that it couldn't have been better for 8 adults. Even our evenings at home the living area held us well.

Coastal Cottage is located in a beautiful area and close to Beaufort, Morehead City and surrounding cities. The cottage was beautifully decorated and it was very comfortable for our weekend trip. Definitely recommend this area and Coastal Cottage. Wish we could have stayed a little big longer. Kim was very responsive and helpful! Thank you for your hospitality!

This was an excellent stay for the price, clean and steps from the beach with a great view from the back porch. One thing worth mentioning is the driveway is particularly steep, we were unable to get our boat into the driveway without scraping the hitch. Should not be an issue for others besides those with very little ground clearance. Quiet and very friendly neighbors. Would definitely recommend

We loved everything about his place. My grandkids loved the dock because they could fish right in the backyard and we could see them from the back decks. We saw dolphins a few morning and even saw a stingray from the dock. Frederick was an awesome host. We would love to come back early spring or fall so they could catch some fish. Thank you we made some great memories! Beautiful and so peaceful!

wonderful place for a getaway. peaceful area, super neat and clean. Denise had everything in place that we would need and lots of little extras from phone chargers, movies, books and games, toothbrushes, shampoo,etc. We felt very welcomed and at home. Hope to come back for a longer visit in the future.

A great location and wonderful place! This home is super clean and cozy. It was the perfect size for our family and just a short walk from the beach. You can hear the ocean from the porch! Highly recommend!
