Barn holiday rentals in New Forest District

Just returned from a long weekend, staying at The Barn at Rotherwood. We were a group of 4 adults (2 couples) and had a great time. The Barn was perfect for us - really comfortable, clean and very well equipped. Debbie was very responsive and left us a really generous welcome hamper for our arrival - thank you Debbie! It was perfectly situated, on the edge of Itchenor, and was easy to get to Chichester, Bosham and the Witterings from there. We would recommend staying here!

The Orchard Barn is located in a lovely area in the New Forest. Plenty of nice walks and restaurants all around. Everything inside is as described. The spa was a great addition and we really enjoyed both the sauna and the hot tub. Chris was very proactive and made sure we were allright every day. Definitely recommend it and surely we shall return. Andrei.

Lovely stay! Would happily come back again. Great bedding and mattresses and Natasha was a great host. Met us at the door with a friendly introduction to the house and answered all our questions about local walks and restaurants

Can’t speak highly enough of this AirBnB, truly the best stay I’ve ever had. Melanie was a superb host who greeted us upon arrival, made us feel at home and even offered us a late checkout! The Barn itself is in an amazing location, very peaceful, clean and has superb amenities. Will be back for sure!

Absolutely delightful barn. Pristine clean, many personal and welcoming touches, beautifully decorated and a serene, tranquil setting. It’s clear that the barn has been architect-designed as described, the interior structure is amazing. Bobby was a lovely, welcoming host. We had a heating issue during our first night which Bobby resolved immediately upon hearing about it. Fabulously located for Peppa Pig World/ Paultons park and many other attractions nearby including the zoo! We will be back.

Amazing location, really peaceful, not too far from the city…but immerse in the countryside.

Prior to our arrival Donna gave us helpful information and was incredibly quick to reply to any questions or queries. The house itself is absolutely beautiful with everything you could need. It was super clean, warm, cosy, comfortable and the hot tub was amazing with lovely views. Thank you so much for the lovely cake Donna and we will e back next year.

Had a fantastic stay, wished we’d had longer there!

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay in this lovely barn conversion. The wood-burning fire made for cosy evenings, and the accomodation was well-located for everything we wanted to do. Nicky was responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond by allowing us an early check-in and late check-out, which we really appreciated. A wonderful getaway - highly recommended!

Really lovely space, well equipped and perfectly located to explore Bradford On Avon. The apartment is spacious and really nicely done. The underfloor heating is great and was easy to keep the apartment at a comfortable temperature. Easy to find and walkable to numerous pubs and restaurants.

When we arrived at the Chalwood Barn, it felt really clean and fresh, we were greeted with a bottle of cider and some local fudge which was a nice touch. The hosts came to visit us on arrival and explained the location and what’s going on in the area and where and how to get to different places. We visited Bath and Bristol, which was only 20 miles away from the Barn. After long days out walking and shopping the Barn felt really cosy place to come back too and rest up for the night. All in all a lovely place to visit in the middle of the countryside with the hustle of town life not too far away, we would throughly recommend and will be looking at rebooking for next year.

A beautiful (independent from the main house) self contained stables. It had all we could need for a perfect stay. Peaceful and quiet surroundings too - excellent for working in. Shelagh was friendly and helpful and was able to recommend some lovely local pubs for evenings out. I would recommend staying here and hope to come again soon.

We had a great stay at Kim’s property, it was the perfect location to get to Bath, Bristol and head into the Cotswolds. Everything was clean, neat and tidy when we arrived. There was plenty of utensils and various items available for us to cook with and we didn’t feel like we were missing anything. Recommended. If we are ever in the area we will be sure to stay here again!

We had a lovely stay at this property. Spotlessly clean with high quality furnishings and a comfortable homely vibe. Great location, being just a short walk from the centre of Frome. Plenty to do in the area and lots of great places to eat, including Little Walcot in Frome, Briar in beautiful Bruton and our favourite, Landrace in Bath. Victoria was very welcoming and responsive. We stayed for 4 nights and could happily have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed a 4 night stay at this fantastic property. It was fully equiped with everything we needed, very comfortable, clean and beautifully designed. Would definitely recommend and visit again

The barn was just what we needed, a base to stay in to explore the island. The nature of the site means that there were a few creepy crawlies throughout our stay, it turned into a little sport as to what creatures we would find in the bathroom, daily. Not a criticism just something my husband wanted me to mention as this was a problem for him. The host was very friendly and showed us around explaining bits and bobs. The pub is worth a mention we ate there twice and both times were amazing. Sunday roast to die for and an evening meal all met with a friendly smile and chat, within walking distance, wear wellies. Just to the lane a small run farm shop with an honesty payment scheme, good local produce (not cheap) delicious cheese.

It’s been a lovely week long stay at Carol’s whilst in the area to visit family. The accommodations are attractive, cosy and comfortable and decorated tastefully for Christmas on this occasion. We greatly appreciated the flexible check in after our long flight and having the essentials on hand, including delicious baked goods. We had no difficulty parking and found the location very quiet and peaceful. Marshfield is delightful with its cafe, a couple of local shops and 2 pubs. We frequented them all. The Catherine Wheel hosted our son in the BnB and he was comfortable and well fed. We also gathered there for a couple of meals in large groups and great food with excellent service were consistently provided. Sweetapples Teashop just down the road is good for breakfast, specialty coffee and an afternoon sweet treat after a hike. I can’t recommend this accommodation and the village of Marshfield enough.

The pictures does not do it justice. A really beautiful place. Modern, clean and very homely. Kate is a wonderful host. The little details made it amazing! I won’t say what they were so that I don’t spoil the surprise for the next visitor. I felt as if I had known Kate for years. When I asked, Kate took the time to give me lots of recommendations for walks and restaurants. I will definitely go back. 😊

Thank you Holly for a wonderful stay - we had a lovely long weekend with our children and friends. The barn is beautiful, comfortable, warm and had everything we could need. The space was perfect for us. The hosts were super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would 100% recommend for anyone considering staying here and we would definitely return.

Comfortable accommodation with everything you needed. Perfect location for our needs. Lovely safe fenced garden for our dogs to run free too.

We stayed 2 nights,and really enjoyed our stay,we felt very much that a lot of effort had been made as the beds were very comfortable and towels were provided,the vase of daffodils was a nice touch,and the fairy lights!We especially liked the log burner as being February it was very cold outside so it was lovely,warm and cosy with underfloor heating,the cottage was clean and tidy. Chichester is fairly close by so that was great for us,we would definitely stay again.

I felt very at home! The barnlet is spotlessly clean, homely and has everything you need! It really is very well equipped! Hayley has clearly thought of everything! Host is very helpful, extremely responsive and friendly! Made an effort to say "Hello", which is always nice! I felt very relaxed and safe! The area is private and felt very secure. It truly is a wonderful countryside retreat! I will be returning if it's available when I need it again in the future! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

we had a wonderful New Year stay at this gorgeous barn. We received a very warm welcome from Jack, Hayley and Meadow and soon settled in. The accommodation was great and the surrounding area is beautiful. The barn was warm and cosy and the views from the windows were stunning. Our dogs enjoyed the walks in the surrounding fields and copse, especially the stream. We had a lovely relaxing stay and would definitely like to return.
