Deluxe Shepherd's Hut and Chalet

A deluxe shepherd's hut and a chalet, each with one double bed, in the grounds of our house with lovely views of the garden. If you are two travellers but require both the hut and the chalet please book for 3 guests. If you are a party of 3 or 4 people, our third and fourth guests will stay in our chalet just a few steps away which accommodates up to two people in a double bed. It is an ideal rural getaway within walking distance of two excellent pubs and a small farm shop. Please come and stay!

Delightful shepherds hut in rural location

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic shepherds hut in a vast garden in the village of Hilperton, 30 min drive from Bath & 15 min drive to Bradford on Avon. The hut sleeps 4, a Kingsize below and double on top but preferably only 2 children or 1 small adult on the top bunk. Extra child mattress & sleeping bag under the bed. There is a 5 min walk across a field to the Kennet and Avon canal with beautiful walks in either direction. The hut is situated in a private spot in our family garden.

Lovely views of the Blackmore Vale (amazing sunsets weather permitting!) Our huts are in a secluded area of the farm. Kingsize bed/twin beds opposite ends with curtains for privacy. Woodburner, hot/cold running water, fridge, hob, microwave, wardrobe. Picnic bench & fire pit outside. Wonderful walks, only 10 minutes on foot to village shop and pub. Great for families. Short walk to luxury wetrooms, w/m, drier. Fishing on farm. Indoor exercise pool payable locally. (Subject to availability)

Set on the edge of our paddock with direct access onto The New Forest. Sheep will be grazing in the paddock and chickens scratching around and providing eggs for your breakfast. Our local pub, The Trusty Servant is a 15 minute walk down quiet country lanes and footpath, two other pubs within 40 minutes walk. A community and farm shop are in the village. Perfect location to walk, cycle and explore The New Forest.
