Holiday rentals with a patio in Norfolk

Had a little staycation in hampton. I wanted something close to the beach (buckroe) and my massage/ reiki appt. Maia’s place was the perfect little spot to lay my head. The beach was even within walking distance and when I went, I saw some dolphins which was pretty cool. I went with Maia’s place after seeing the other reviews of how clean it was, I’m happy to say everything was accurate in Maia’s pictures and how other folks described it. It was nice having hosts that were intentional about thinking from the guests pov, even going as far to make a video for check in instructions to avoid any confusion. Every thing was clean, the hosts clean the carpets after each use and asks guests to take off shoes in bed area. Bathroom was spotless. They even had a couple board games/ uno for guests. Lots of closet space. The level of consideration felt like a hotel room without the hotel costs. Hosts responded quickly if we had questions. I would definitely stay again.

Inside was just like the pics and felt very homey. I would def book again. The home was picture perfect and had plenty of towels and wash clothes. The beds were soft and TV in each room. The only complaint was location, there was a train track nearby with active trains st night and you could literally hear the neighbor while sitting in the living room.

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here at Sarah’s place. Her place made us feel right at home and we loved everything about it. We definitely want to come back and get this place again. She was very helpful and responded right away about a router my husband needed to work from home.

The condo is even nicer than the pictures. Awesome sunrise can be viewed from the balcony. Dolphins swim by at all times of the day. Restaurants and bars are all walkable. It is a wonderful place to enjoy Virginia Brach. We will be back.

OK, Cindy‘s unit was by far the best one bedroom unit that I have stayed in. It is the second best unit I’ve stayed in overall! It was squeaky clean, very cozy and inviting, very quiet, and it was good for sleeping and relaxing.If you have the opportunity to book this unit, don’t hesitate! I will say there are a number of stairs in order to get into the unit, but other than that wow, simply wow!

We loved our beach getaway because of our accommodation, it was private and peaceful and had everything we needed! Very clean and furniture done in great taste! We spent a whole week and we didn't want to leave. We especially loved the deck with all the beautiful plants and that we could hear the ocean especially at night! A big plus! We are definitely going back! Jules and Scott, the hosts were so welcoming and kind to us and always helpful. The short walk to the beach was beautiful and so easy! What a gem this place is! Overall, a great place to stay after the summer season was over. The apartment complex had turned off few of the amenities, but it was manageable.

Kasha is a kind and thoughtful host, the home is very cute and cozy. We loved the location and the home was clean and welcoming!

This home was wonderful! We were able to bring our dogs and they were welcomed! There was dog dishes and a tennis ball in the fenced in back yard. This home was cozy and clean. I wish we had more time to spend there! 100% recommend this home!

Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

The host Mikhail was very responsive and helpful throughout our trip and I must say, pictures does this home no justice. Would definitely stay again as we’re in the area A LOT!

Had a great time staying at Lisa's home. The place was a very beautiful home and a peaceful neighborhood. Spacious living area as well as the bathrooms and rooms.

My husband and I booked this for our wedding anniversary mini getaway and we absolutely are so glad we did. Scorno was absolutely on top of everything and even gave us some amaizing reccomendations of restaurants. the home was so beautiful and absolutely clean. we even traveled with our fur babies and they felt very at home. I 100% plan on coming back here. 10/10 experience.

Emily was an excellent host! She had clear and easy instructions, the place was very homey, petty, and well equipped. It allowed each guest in our group of three professionals on business travel their privacy, as well as community space, and opportunities to take a walk in the beautiful and quiet neighborhood, close to the beach. Definitely recommend!

Gabriel is amazing, the home was warm and welcoming. Super comfortable and will most definitely be back when I am in town.

Jason’s place was just what we needed for a few days on the beach.

Well maintained, clean and free of clutter. She had a nice tray of coffees, teas and chocolates available. I love my nighttime tea and had forgotten to bring it, so that was great. Had a nice fenced in yard that we were able to use to practice soccer. Kitchen had mostly everything we needed minus a couple mixing bowls. There was some food and spices there (from other guests maybe) that we weren't sure if we could use or not. I was confused about getting logged into WiFi but I messaged Collette and she walked me through it. Nice place and well priced.

Came with my girls for a conference at the Beach. Salt and Serenity was super peaceful, felt private and quiet. Beds were super comfy and the water pressure in the showers was awesome. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and all amenities were as described. Susan was a great, responsive host and made accommodations for our early check-in. And all the restaurant suggestions were a hit! Would definitely come again!

Great location for walking to the beach and many restaurant options. The beds are comfy and the living room has good seating options (unlike rentals that have only one couch). Kat was very responsive and attentive to our requests. She was great. FYI, Chicos has good pizza and fun atmosphere, Pocahontas Pancakes has great breakfast options and seems to be very popular there. The Shack is a cool outdoor bar. The Irish Pub had live music and fun atmosphere. We would rent again from Kat.

This place was a perfect spot for our sons AIT graduation. It’s minutes from base, restaurants, and shops.

The “Artist Retreat” was very nice. The area is really nice and peaceful. My partner and I loved the balcony. We stayed 3 nights and spent time out there each day. We also loved that there were 2 full bathrooms. Rebecca was an amazing host. She was very accommodating and extremely kind. I was in town visiting for my birthday and she helped to make it a wonderful experience. Highly recommended. I’d definitely stay again.

Thank you for a lovely stay! This was the perfect home base for our group who was running in the Virginia Beach half/marathon! Would recommend to anyone else looking for a quiet, peaceful place!
