Holiday home rentals in North Carolina

Pilot Cove offered my family of 4 (plus dog) a wonderful experience at the doorstep to Pisgah and Brevard. Loved being close to the Hub and the food and coffee truck at the bottom of the hill were great. I enjoyed drinking an Americano from the coffee truck on my way into the Forest or after a long trail run on the Art Loeb trail. The walking trails on the property were the perfect place to walk the dog (though several downed trees cross the path). The house was simple but fit ours needs as we spent most of our time outdoors. Overall we loved Pilot Cove and will be back!

Cute little cabin in a peaceful spot just outside of Pisgah National Forrest. Close to delicious food trucks and even downtown Brevard. We were able to rest and enjoy equally with this stay.

The experience was amazing and Rodney was so informative about everything. Michael make check in so easy and he was super helpful during the entire stay. I think we have a new spot. Definitely will be back.

Kathleen place is very nice. My Family and I enjoy the home and the beach. I can't speak for the restaurants in the area because we mostly cooked, oh Big Daddys has nice fish tacos. The seafood markets are very reasonable. The elevator was definitely a plus. The bikes and all the amenities I mean you don't need to bring anything like chairs or beach items, Kathleen has it all. Beds where comfortable. We just loved the house. Kure Island is not a place I would return too not that I had issues from anyone it just to far from the Airport. All and All Kathleen was very responsive to anything if needed. Thank you again Kathleen for EVERYTHING😃 Ms. Taylor

Wow, a great place where you can become one with nature. You find yourself immersed in taking in the views morning, noon, and night. Pilot Cove is a peaceful community and had feel of a place tucked well into the mountains but just on the edge of town. A true favorite!

Nicest hosts we’ve ever stayed- Christopher and his parents are gems. Didn’t hurt that there was a free bag of vigilante coffee out, either. With bikes and beach chairs and easy access points on both sound/ocean side of kill devil hills, this made for the perfect beach vacation. The unit was spotless and easy to access, beds are comfortable. Lots of places to sit outside. 10/10 recommend.

Lirio Woods was a great stay for my boyfriend and me! We appreciated the little details (i.e., pre-filled ice cube trays, laundry basket, room heaters, dryer balls for your down jackets, extra/sorted firewood, recycling bins, marked/lit parking space, etc.) that made the trip more comfortable and convenient. There were lots of helpful info cards for the amenities. The fireplace was already set up the night we checked into the stay. Although it only has a kitchenette, there were enough appliances and kitchenware to make meals and reheat leftovers--induction burner and toaster oven came in handy. The place was in a quiet location away from road noise but easy to venture into nearby towns. Thank you so much, Katie, for hosting us! We appreciated your excellent/efficient communication during our stay. Highly recommend staying at Lirio Woods!

Sarah was very responsive and answered all my questions. As this was my first air bnb booking I didn’t quite know what to expect from the booking and check in/out process. I appreciated her friendliness and constant communication with me. She even reached out mid trip to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my stay! It came in handy as I had to unexpectedly cut my trip short. The unit looked exactly like the photos!

Very clean and clutter free. Close to the beach and other attractions. Yvonne was very quick to respond and very helpful with all questions.

We were very happy to stay at Kris's place. Clean, neat, well appointed and comfortable. Beds were great, layout was easy and efficient. Would stay again.

Been there quite a few times and never disappointed. Brian and his wife are very great hosts. Beautiful stay at the lake with plenty of wildlife and nature to take in. We will definitely be back!

Staying at Gladys' beach house was absolutely lovely. It didn’t feel like an Airbnb—it felt like home. Even the house rules made us feel more like welcomed guests than renters. The space was warm, comfortable, and just 3 minutes from the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

Such a beautiful and warm accommodation! The outside was picturesque and the inside was exactly like the photos! The owners were kind and very descriptive. We chose this one for a quick girl’s weekend trip. We had everything we needed and the owners were very easy to contact!

Lynda was excellent at communication. The rental was exactly as described super quiet, and peaceful. The sunset view on the dock was breathtaking. Excellent peaceful stay on the lake for a family reunion

We had a great stay, the house was very comfortable and had everything we needed, plus lots of fun games and extras that we were able to enjoy. We really loved the setting on the water! The host, Rachel, was super helpful in sharing recommendations. Thank you!

We had a great time! We were a family of 6 (4 adults & 2 kids), and there were plenty of space for all of us. Enough bathrooms to give everyone privacy. The house was very well thought out. Everything you need is already there. Very clean and comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Beach is a short drive as well as everything else (grocery store, restaurant, boardwalk, etc). Hostesses are very responsive and welcoming. I would stay here again the next time we come to Carolina Beach.

Can't beat the views!!! The two balconies right on the water made the entire stay! Christine herself was a super friendly and responsive host when we locked ourselves out on the balcony. She was there within 10 minutes to rescue us, haha! Very peaceful location with shopping and restraints within a 5 minute drive. Always a great time on Kure beach!!

Great choice for a peaceful stay. Cute house on beautiful property. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment. House is clean. Great for families that want to focus on quality time.

Great place to stay for a relaxing week at the beach! Walking distance to the beach and close to lots of places to shop and eat. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed! My kids especially loved the bikes and the cornhole set!

Our family rented both Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses for a quick week away to our favorite place on earth...OBX. The properties were beautiful and they welcomed our 4 legged family members with a special note and accessories to make their stay as comfortable as ours! We enjoyed walking over to the Kind Cup near the lighthouse and also the walk to beach was very quick and convenient. The property grounds at The Beach Club at Whalehead are beautiful and I can imagine lots of fun in the high season. We love the slow, quiet nature of the fall offseason in OBX. Would recommend JP's places to friends and family looking to check out what OBX has to offer!

I will definitely stay here again! The host was extremely helpful and responsive when I had difficulty locating the place. Take the time to read the directions given in the booking - Google maps had me do something different. I loved the location and the clean home. It was nice having an inside that was comfortable and without the tacky beach decor. I loved the location’s proximity to shops, parks, the beach, and restaurants!

We loved it! The pools were nice and clean and it did not feel overcrowded. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming. The condo was beautiful & functional. We will definitely come again!
