Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ometepe

That place is a jewel. I would stay there ten nights if I would do it again. Ometepe was fantastic and that place made it even more special. All the island is reachable from there with a motorcycle. The most beautiful sunset of Nicaragua is from the backyard there. Amazing patio. Cutest inside. Thank you so much. I will recommend it to my friends for sure!

This is one of the most beautiful, serene places I’ve ever stayed (and I’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnbs at this point). Josephine and her family are so lovely and kind. The cabin has the most insane view of Volcan Concepcion and the lake. The farm is incredible; I basically lived off of the veggies, eggs, raw dairy, and honey produced on the farm. It is a little trek from town, but I really enjoyed my morning walks through the forest to get to Pital for yoga and to use the WiFi for work (that’s the one thing to know, I highly recommend getting a local SIM before visiting. Josephine and Jon were kind enough to help me find one, but I was never able to get a solid enough connection to use my phone as a hotspot. Great to disconnect, a little tricky when I truly needed to be online for work calls). That said, I would absolutely stay here again (and probably will). The house is really cool! The shower was super hot. And it felt like we were outside in nature. We saw a shooting star and could hear the howler monkeys early in the morning.

Excellent view and location.

Our stay with Bullshark went very well better than we expected!!! Our host Tatiana was perfect very attentive and very helpful as well as her staff!!!! The room was perfect with an American kitchen which allows you to prepare your breakfast and other meals!!!! A large terrace with hammocks overlooks the Bungalows and we enjoyed an amazing view of the banana groves and Lake Nicaragua!!!!! I can only recommend this rental 100%

Nothing bad to say about Hector y Isabel's place. Hector was such an amazing host who is so gracious and knowledgeable about the beautiful island of Ometepe. He gave us a great deal on renting his motorcycle and even brought in his sister in law to teach us how to cook local cuisine. If you ask nicely, he might even bring you up the hill and show you his beautiful farm on the side of the Maderas Volcano. Great location right on the beach and close to restaurants and 2km or so to Ojo De Agua. Do yourself a favor and stay in this great spot. Thanks Hector!
