Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ometepe

We stayed in the house close to the pool, the accommodation met all our expectations, it is very spacious, the kitchen had everything necessary to organize our meals and the views are spectacular. The rooms are good size and lighting. We were also lucky enough to be able to participate in an event/meeting that John had organized and that included a very complete dinner in a super family atmosphere, I recommend asking John about his events and trying to coordinate the stay with one of them to live that experience too. Thank you for everything John, we will definitely be back!

This property offers incredible privacy while being beautifully nestled into the jungle, making it a serene and unique getaway. The house is exceptionally clean, thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need, and perfectly located just minutes from Maderas and other surrounding beaches. Tony and Anika have clearly put a lot of care into creating a welcoming and comfortable space. Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this is an ideal spot. I highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed!

This is such a beautiful stay. The house is as close to the beach as you can get. The beach is very quiet, we were often the only people on the sand besides a few locals fishing. Great swimming. The house is nice and clean. My party of five used the outdoor grill, pool and outdoor dining area every day. Cynthia and Aroldo are great as well. One thing I will say is that the road to the house is quite precarious, making it a little harder to get around the San Juan del Sur area. Not sure if a sedan could make it through. We ended up working with David to get transportation to the city (20 min away) for $50 one day, which was nice of them. It’s also possible to take a taxi to the restaurant at the end of the beach and walk a few minutes on the sand to the house for cheaper. The road there is much better. Overall I’d highly recommend David’s stay and would love to visit again.

We had a great stay at Casa Buen Vivir. The house is beautiful and in an amazing setting. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch each morning drinking coffee and having breakfast together as a family. It rained quite a bit during our stay. It rained everyday but it didn’t rain all day. We still enjoyed the beach almost every day. It is about 5-10 minute walk to the beach and we saw very few other people on the beach which made it feel like our own private beach. We did travel in November which is shoulder season. We had read that the southern coast dries up this time of year even if there is still rain elsewhere in the country but this was not the case for us. We really enjoyed our stay regardless and can’t thank Till and Nelson enough for their support and guidance while we were there. We hope to return someday.

Went for a short vacation and it felt so much like home that we didn't want to leave. Seeing this place from pictures gives you a good idea, but pictures don't make justice to the home its something you gotta go out and experience first hand, it's very beautiful and the views from the balcony are breath taking. The staff on site are very nice people, informative and friendly. Already planning our next stay!

A beautiful, spacious, well equipped apartment with a spectacular view. Sitting on the balcony sipping the complimentary coffee watching the monkeys, birds and sunsets was very special. Brian could not have been more helpful, from clear border crossing instructions, help with transport, help with shopping , to scooping up my husband when he got lost, nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend a stay here and we hope to be back.

Staying at Villa Fiorella with Armando and his lovely family was a great experience! The price is very affordable and priced very fairly for a brand new apartment with excellent amenities. Armando and his family was incredibly kind and welcoming. One day when we first arrived, Armando told us his goal and desire is to treat his guests like family. At first, I was skeptical, because I too own apartments and prefer a hands-off approach, but I was proven wrong. He absolutely treats his guests like family. Unfortunately, I experienced problems with a car rental agency in town, and after losing money Armando offered for my family to use his car, because he wanted to help us and felt bad for us. This was an incredible act of kindness. We were blown away by how sweet this gesture was. Our daughter also LOVED Armando's daughter, Fiorella. She was so sweet and played with our daughter. Armando's children are so sweet and welcoming! You are nestled in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a view of the mountains and fields. We loved how quiet and peaceful this place was, and watching the sunsets. Armando was very quick to attend to our requests, such as fix a small tear in the window screen, assist with organizing housekeeping, servicing the A/C unit, improving wifi, and anything else we requested. The quality of the apartment is very high, with very nice finishes and materials! We truly felt treated like family. There is also a beautiful garden in the back and the neighbors are family, so we felt very safe at this place. This place is about a 5-10 minute drive from town. Taxis are very affordable and will pick you up from this place ($4.29 dollars to town, $1.5 if you catch a taxi from the main road), take you to beaches and wait for you there, and bring you back home ($30 dollars round trip to maderas or hermosa). (Call Lester +505 7787 2868) The internet was a bit slow, but Armando is working every day to improve it. I work in telecommunications, using wifi calling all day, but for anyone streaming or using wifi for casual purposes you won't have problems. Overall a super great experience! Thank you Armando for showing us so much love and care. We would come back any day to revisit.

BOOK THIS NOW!! You will not regret it. Brian’s house is incredible- there are excellent ocean views from pretty much everywhere. You can see the howler monkeys when they come out to eat. The sunsets are unparalleled. The beds and house are very comfortable and well provisioned with everything you need to be comfortable in simple luxury. It’s worth every penny to stay here. Playa Maderas is quiet and a great beach with lots of surfing. It’s not far from the more bustling town of SJDS, if you want to go out on the town. Brian is an incredibly gracious, helpful, and sweet host. I’ve stayed a lot of great places on Airbnb and this was the best. If I could give him 100 stars I would.

Wonderful stay!! 10/10 would recommend, right by the beach, 20 minute walk to the beginner surf spot. Great vibes, would definitely come back!

Lovely place! Ended up extending twice for a total of 2 weeks after originally booking for 3 days! Beach is a 2 minute walk away and can see it from the deck. Local food and vegetable trucks drive past daily as the shop is around 10-15 minute walk away! Did feel very much at home here, had all the essentials you need. The location on Airbnb needs an update as the property is under the name ‘Casa Blanca’ on maps, near the La Perla restaurant.
