Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ontonagon County

We had a great time !!! The Swiss hut 1 and 2 provided us our needs after a long day of exploring the area. Cozy and warm . Great place to gather with friends and family. Thank you and hope we can come back in the near future.

Family skiing weekend. Just a block away from Powderhorn. And then a short 15 minute drive to snow River for our second day of skiing. Beds are comfortable Kitchen and bathrooms are clean Didn’t have a shovel but she ordered one when we let her know!

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend! I had an amazing stay at Deanna’s place! The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect—just a short distance from the city center and with easy access to the snowmobile trails, which was a huge plus! Deanna was a fantastic host, very responsive and accommodating, making check-in and check-out seamless. I truly appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Jason’s house was absolutely beautiful. Literally feet off the lake. Stunning sunsets and sunrises. Super easy and fast communication and helpful with answers. The place is clean and has just about all you need. If you plan on snowmobiling, something to note is the home is about 1 1/2 miles off the trail so you will need to ride the highway and the plows leave very little to no snow on the emergency lanes. But we absolutely loved our stay.

Great UP ABNB. Nicely remolded old farm house that is clean and perfect home base to come back to after day of exploring the UP.

Great place very dog friendly, the fenced back yard was so helpful. Super great room, enough seating so our large group could be together. This place is stocked with everything we need, tape, extension cord and big bowls were a nice surprise. Convienent location with a lovely setting and nice view out the back. Plenty of parking too. We enjoyed our stay.

Our party consisted of three couples who came to the area to cross country ski. Cinnebar Hideaway was the perfect location - close to ABR and had great amenities. When we first arrived, the water dispenser in the fridge wasn't working, and we had looked forward to filtered water. Eric came over to repair it on Friday evening, but didn't have the parts, so he went to a nearby store and got us a Britta pitcher and filter for our use. He really went above and beyond to enhance our stay and we so appreciated it. The home is not new, but was very well equipped. We particularly loved having a garage at our disposal to park out of the snow that weekend. We've stayed in numerous AirBNBs, and this home had the BEST EQUIPPED KITCHEN EVER! We cooked many meals and there were plenty of dishes, silverware, pans, serving bowls, spices and other food supplies. The beds were firm comfortable (although one was only a full), the sauna was a bonus after skiing, and we could all spread out.

Absolutely wonderful! We travel here for a ski race annually, and this is the best place by far we have ever rented. Clean, modern, and very comfortable. Will definitely plan on staying again next year if it is available!

A great location. In walking distance to a ski lift. The place was clean and it was awesome being able to have a fire in the fire place. Peter checked in with us in person to see if we needed anything. Also, he was very responsive to a couple questions I had prior to arriving. We will be back.

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.

Our group had a blast here for a weekend of skiing! It was great to be right on the run. The wood stove was so cozy after long days of skiing. The hosts are very responsive, which was so appreciated. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Great stay with our family for Christmas

We so enjoyed our stay! It was homey, comfortable, and warm. Our host was very helpful with local recommendations and was able to offer a flexible checkout time, which was a welcome touch. Big Powderhorn was an easy 10 minute walk away!

Very clean retro but clean ski-in / ski-out! Loved the convenience of our stay. Somewhat close quarters but it fully met our family's needs. Bunk beds for the kids + pet friendly option made it all possible. Thank you!
