Markus and his wife were really nice and they had decorated the house for christmas ! We would recommend it and we will come back if we have the opportunity ! "Madita" is wonderful, a pretty cottage in beautiful surroundings, what more could you ask for. We felt very comfortable, everything worked out for us, we can only recommend Madita. Communication with Steffi and Ferdi was also straightforward and consistently positive.

Beautifully renovated house, lovingly furnished and very clean. We felt very comfortable here and used the beautiful surroundings for great excursions and hikes. Will definitely visit again.

Very good stay, in a spacious house and more than well equipped and comfortable. Very welcoming and considerate host. The view from the house, of the village below is beautiful and the garden in the back must be very pleasant in summer. In December, we enjoyed a beautiful interior and outdoor Christmas decoration. A little extra: dogfriendly home! We will definitely be back

We had a lovely week in this beautiful house with our 2 toddlers. The house is a beautiful passive realization, with good quality materials and undeniable comfort, the single level is appreciated (even more with little ones). Séverine helped us spot the nicest spots, her advice was very useful ( farm inns, walks, tobogganing spots and so on). The valley and the surroundings allow to vary mountain and picturesque villages, gastronomy, wine. Very nice discovery! We had the privilege of seeing the mountain covered with fresh snow and it brings a special charm to this beautiful valley! We would definitely recommend and would like to come back. Thank you so much to our host for the warm welcome and maybe see you next time!

Perfectly equipped flat for a short break in nature

Absolutely a very lovely place to stay in the Black Forest. The house is fully furnished, full of comforts - towels, all kitchen and BBQ accessories, internet, TV with large screen and all apps, etc. We stayed here for a full week with 2 adults and a dog, and felt at home from the beginning. Thomas and his wife were super friendly and helpful and are fantastic hosts! From Haus Carola there are immediately beautiful hiking tours to take, and there is also the convenience of several supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. With the Hochswarzwald Card, it is easy to use good public transport. A place to return to!

The cabin is fantastic! It was even better than expected, cozy house in the woods. The dog can run free around, with several paths to hike. The house is warm in winter, spacious and very confortable. Claude is charming and had many details with us. I would have stayed to live, I hope we can come back!

The place was perfect for the family. It seems they put effort into keeping it and accommodating the guests' needs. They set up a small room for my baby with kids' paintings that made my baby fall in love with it. We were able to cook a full dinner for five with no issue. We love the place and are already thinking of going back in the future.

We had a great time. Everything was perfect. Laurine was very kind and allowed us to stay even after the check-out time.

Comfortable beds, practical terrace, kitchen with all needed and clean bathroom. Very enjoyable stay. 10 min walk from a very nice outdoor natural swimming pool. Great walks in the area! And lots of pretty cats in the neighborhood...

Joël is attentive to everything. With excellent attention and communication. It has a very comfortable place to stay,with all kinds of details. On arrival we had a bottle of welcome wine prepared. Thank you so much for everything Joël. The location is well connected to downtown.

Small but nice apartment. Great new bathroom / toilet, small kitchenette. Every square meter is used sensibly and well thought out. Very large, great balcony with beautiful views towards the village church. Living and sleeping combined in one room. Very clean, very quiet location. We left the car parked in the yard for the entire week: hiking directly from the house possible in really all directions, partly also in combination with a bus ride (good connection). This is how recovery works! If the Black Forest were a cake, then Schönwald would be the cherry on top: Magnificent landscape in all directions, good, pure and pleasantly cool air! Breathe! In the village there is a very good grocery store, there is really everything. Fresh and in good selection and quality. In high summer, a visit to the outdoor swimming pool is a dream, wonderfully cool water without chlorine. Good audience, cheap small food. We would love to come back, recommend it very much.

We greatly enjoyed our vacation days in the apartment. We were able to make good use of the terrace with sun from the morning. Wonderful with a bag of coffee and the beautiful view. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with all the kitchen equipment you need. The apartment has a very cozy atmosphere, Scandinavian style and practically well thought out. Ideal also for a movie night. They were wonderful nights with a super good bed, which is really important. Immediately start a walk from the door, which was really a big plus for us. The Black Forest is so beautiful, especially this time of year. The Black forest loft is a very good choice for peace and quality time together.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights as a company. We particularly liked the beautiful and spacious living and dining area. The sauna is also to be highlighted.

The apartment was gorgeous. Nicely decorated and there was all sorts of things available. The nicest thing about the apartment is the view: over the Bühldal. Wonderful! The weather was lovely, so we could sit on the terrace. In other cases, you are just as nice in the conservatory, with the great view. In the area are several nice places to visit: Bühl itself, BadenBaden (only). In short: an address to go to again.
