If you want to experience comfortable and modern accommodations in the heart of a crumbling, centuries-old village in one of the less touristed parts of Italy, then this is a perfect location. The apartment is on the lower level, so there is less natural light, but it is clean and full of modern amenities. It is small but easily accommodated two couples. The apartment is a minute or two walk from the local bar. There are not really any shops or restaurants in the village, but a 15 minute walk to the base of the town, down a street lined with tall cypress trees will bring you to the village bakery which also stocks a few other food items. Ofena was significantly damaged in the 2009 earthquake that devastated the nearby city of L’Aquila, so many of the buildings are damaged and a considerable amount of restoration is underway resulting in some areas being closed off and a fair bit of noisy construction when we were there.

Annalisa is very kind and helpful. Despite the inconvenience, I had a strong delay while traveling for check-in, Annalisa was very helpful, also giving me some tips. As soon as she arrived, she welcomed me and showed me the apartment. A host I recommend to everyone!! I'll be back

Everything very clean and well maintained, even Gianni and Lucia were very kind to keep a place for us to park the car, as well as suggesting a good restaurant for the evening. The location is also convenient for those who have to take the highway again or have to go skiing in Roccaraso.

Francesco's apartment is large, spacious and functional. It is super bright and clean and has everything you need to spend a comfortable stay with the family. Francesco is a very kind and caring host. We had a great time!

The location was perfect—quiet yet close to the sea. The host was incredibly responsive and made the check-in process seamless. We had a wonderful stay at this charming little house on Lake Scanno. The house is both comfortable and warm, with everything you need to feel at home. The kitchen is very well equipped, with basic food products. The bathroom is well appointed, including toilet, sink, bidet and a pleasant shower. The little extra: the washing machine with dryer, ideal for an extended stay. Also noteworthy is the very efficient heating. We were particularly charmed by the breathtaking lake views from the upstairs bedroom, where a large, very comfortable bed awaited us. The cleanliness of the house was impeccable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Alessandra's hosting was very warm. She provided us with great advice and was available and responsive. In short, this house is a real gem that we recommend without hesitation.

Absolutely gorgeous house in the heart of Serramonacesca. The whole town is within an easy walk. House itself is gorgeous and kept in brilliant condition. High recommend... can't wait to come back!

I loved Lorenzo’s place it was perfect for my short stay in Chieti and central to everything I needed. A vacation with a view of beauty. A perfect home for large groups thanks to large spaces, with attention to the smallest details. Light enters from dawn to dusk through the large windows and the eat-in kitchen is the beating heart of the house. The panoramic view really leaves you breathless. The rooms upstairs are really cozy, the only flaw is the little light in those downstairs. Each room has its own bathroom, a very important plus for multiple families or groups of friends. Barbecue, swimming pool, pool tables and ping pong table are the icing on the cake, which made this house absolutely unforgettable. Obviously super recommended.

Franco, Mariangela and their entire extended family are wonderful people. They took such good care of use while we were staying in fara. The house is exactly as described and in a fantastic location. We stayed during winter and the house was very comfortable. As Franco says it is the warmest house in fara. Thankyou for helping to make this trip so wonderful, I am sure we will meet again soon.

the accommodation is centrally located, easy to reach and close to all the necessary services, including the information center of the majella park. The host Eleonora was very kind and available to give us advice. The b&by is equipped as if you were at home. Highly recommended

The apartment is very nice, very clean and comfortable, and can be reached very easily from the two train stations of the city, even on foot if you want (but there are several bus lines nearby). Numerous activities nearby, cultural (Museo delle Genti d'Abruzzo, birthplace of Gabriele D'Annunzio...) or leisure (restaurants, shops, beach...). The host, Francesco, is very helpful, and very kind!

Silvio was a great host. He made himself available to check in at a time convenient for us and welcomed us with great kindness. We appreciated that he was present without being intrusive. The house was clean and had all the useful comforts to make our stay as if we were at home. We recommend choosing Silvio's house!!!

Great location, nice apartment and very friendly host!

I stayed at the apartment for just one night but I really enjoyed it. I found the apartment impeccable, both for cleanliness, order, and for all the amenities. Federico was very kind and very helpful! I found the check-in method very functional and simple thanks to the instructions Federico gave me! The only advice I can give is maybe to have a bottle of water in the fridge, which in my opinion should never be missing, for the rest I had a great time! If I were to come back, I would gladly stay here again.😊 Silvia

Lella’s place was a perfect solution for our group of four, with two medium dogs and a little baby. The villino I’m not huge but there was enough space for everyone and it was really well equipped. We loved the secluded garden for the dogs and the easy parking on the road. If visiting Pescasseroli again we will definitely be back! Grazie Signora Lella ♥️
