The hostess was super friendly, we got a super quick response to everything. Drake Bay itself nothing so special and doesn't suggest much. The room and bathroom were super clean. The downside is that the shower was just freezing cold, which was less... And it is very noisy, until 3 am the bar had played music from next door, but after such tiring days in Costa Rica you would sleep right through it 🤣

We really enjoyed our stay at Jessica and Luis. Not only for the nice and quiet of the property, but also because of the good vibe and willingness of Jessica and her family. The property is very cute and located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Birds, monkeys, and the sea are part of the sight and constant sounds. The bungalow is very comfortable and has everything you need. And whatever you don't have, Jessica and Luis are always attentive to help with whatever you need!!

Rooted in Love is a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by nature. It’s beautiful and peaceful. It has a natural outdoor kitchen area with all the basics. We enjoyed sitting outside with our coffee and pineapple that we picked up locally. The air conditioning is a luxurious sleeping experience.

Listing as described. Stéphanie Carolina and her mom are very responsive when needed. The forest behind the house has allowed us to observe many birds, including red macaws very present here. Puerto Jiménez is very close and the city is very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay!

Great value, I just recommend having a 4x4, too far from Bahía Drake on foot. The host is adorable, his restaurant is super good, the accommodation is clean, it's nice, we saw lots of toucans in the garden which is much more beautiful in real life than in photo. You also have access to hammocks and a small outdoor kitchen with fridge.

Alberto and Julia, excellent hosts, always attentive to guests, we were delighted with the place, great location since it is facing the sea, a quiet and safe place! The room is exactly as shown in the pictures, with luxurious finishes, and impeccable. They have air conditioning that works perfectly so it makes the stay so much more enjoyable! In addition to the hosts having a beautiful detail towards me for my birthday for which I am very grateful! I wouldn't hesitate to go back to my family and recommend them with my loved ones and friends

Anita and Pirmin are super hosts! The lodge was newly built this year and is up to date. The two are always available, always kind and helpful. Even when we had a very nasty stomach intestinal flu, the two came up in the middle of the night, made us tea and brought missing medication. The bungalows are high quality built and very well equipped. You have almost everything you need, even coffee, salt and pepper and oil and vinegar are available. The towels are thick and fluffy and the bed linen very comfortable. Also in the large 2m wide bed you sleep very well. The terrace is great, you have a view of the forest and we saw a lot of toucans and other birds, one morning we were woken up by a group of howler monkeys sitting right in the trees in front of our terrace. Wonderful!! The pool is great. All in all, we were highly satisfied and would be happy to come back!! Thanks for the great time!!

Anick's place is an oasis in an area that is already so beautiful and yet hers is over the top lovely. The pool, deck, porches are surrounded by beautiful flowers, vegetation and birds. so peaceful and beautiful. Anick was always helpful and quick to make helpful recommendations when we asked Would love to visit again!

If you want to experience Costa Rica as a local, Aaron's place is a great start. His home borders the rainforest where we were "serenaded" by holler monkeys every morning. As we enjoyed our morning coffee sitting around his pool, we saw various birds in his trees. Aaron took the time to lay out his site so that the pool received the best sun in the morning before the heat increases. We rented one room in his bungalo. It was quite comfortable with plenty of storage space. The bathroom featured a large curbless shower. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for our needs. Yes it did seem strange at first but there aren't any bugs so it wasn't an issue. We did see the room he occasionally rents in his main house and that is very nice. The cost was very reasonable with all the amenities. We were quite surprised how economical it was to experience Costa Rica. Aaron is very knowledgable about the area. He helped us set up an itinerary and made arrangements for us too.

This was a great place to be for a few days. The hosts there on the property were wonderful and wanted to accommodate our needs while there. It was a comfort that they were there. We did hear howler monkeys which was a fun treat and the pool was wonderful. Maria was very responsive by phone and was willing to work when we needed. The construction trucks and trips above the property were unfortunate but we didn’t let it bother us, it was still a good place to be.

Michaele is a kind and caring man. He picked me up by car from my boat ride, on the main beach of Bahia Drake without it being planned! The place was simple but charming, and the nights spent in it to the rhythm of the sound of the waves were really magical. Sublime viewpoint a few meters above the accommodation, authentic warmthy place, I recommend it!! 🤗🙏

First of all, WOW! This unique rental provided us with a tropical paradise setting and a peaceful environment. We could hear the sounds of nature all around us. The pool area was very relaxing. The host was helpful, friendly and always available. Well stocked kitchen and many restaurants nearby. Beaches were 15 minutes away. A restful and unique experience. It would be preferable to have a 4 x 4 vehicle to access this beautiful retreat. Thank you Connie!

We stayed a month at Linda and Rob’s place and highly recommend it! The grounds and casita are very private and well equipped! The pool is amazing and we appreciated having it all to ourselves! It was great waking up, having coffee, and listening to the birds each morning. The fans were anmazing and we never even needed aircon! Linda and Rob gave many excellent recommendations including a physician when we had a medical issue. Thank you very much for your generous hospitality!

This is a lovely place. The views from the cabins are beautiful, and you can hear the sounds of the sea and the jungle at night. The staff are friendly, and Michaele is a helpful host who provided us with useful tips. . For those who enjoy being close to nature, this spot is a good choice.
