A gorgeous gem of a place located a minute walk to the beach, yet tucked away from the hustle & bustle. This place really offered a sense of serenity nestled away… The apartment was spacious with an open plan kitchen, dining area, and veranda where you can sometimes see the kites flying, and was a great place to chill with friends. The dogs are adorable and made the place feel like home. With so many activities in Paje this place was a miracle find to be so central to all the tours and sports on the island 🏝️. Thank you 🙏

The place is super spacious, very clean, and has a great pool and outdoor space. The staff on site are wonderful. Meg and Eddy are the best hosts I’ve ever had from Airbnb and they go the extra mile on everything to make sure you have what you need, give great recommendations, and make you feel at home. Would highly recommend staying here!

Very nice and well-maintained accommodation . The patio was like a small oasis where we could cool off after a day in the sun on the beach. The next time I travel to Zanzibar, I will no doubt stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The house itself was excellent — spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a modern yet cozy atmosphere. One of the standout features was the air conditioning, which worked perfectly and kept the space comfortable even during the hotter parts of the day. The location was absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful and scenic environment that made it easy to relax and unwind. Whether you're looking to explore the area or simply enjoy some quiet time, it's a perfect setting. Inside, the living space was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The Wi-Fi speed was also impressive, which was a huge plus for both work and streaming. Lastly, the local hosting service was top-notch. The hosts were responsive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Overall, I highly recommend this property — it truly felt like a home away from home.

Our family had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lovely property! We truly appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. The large Bluetooth speaker was perfect for keeping us entertained throughout our visit. We were also impressed with the showers—the water pressure was fantastic, making our showers very refreshing. The rooms were spotless with clean sheets and excellent air conditioning, ensuring we slept comfortably every night. The highlight for our kids was definitely the rooftop pool, which was the perfect spot to relax during the hot afternoons. A special thank you to our host, Amina, who was incredibly responsive, friendly, and always ready to help. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Airborne. It is located just outside the busy hotel strip of Paje but still within walking distance from the popular hotels and bars. We didn’t met Jan in person but his host Simon and Sophie were very attentive and responsive to our wishes. There is even a small ‘pool / bathtub’ to freshen up right next to the porch that we weren’t aware of. I followed my kite classes at Pro Sele Kiteschool, and my teacher Sule is also highly recommended. It is good to be aware that the accomodation is part of a larger compound of cottages, and the compound can seem a bit deserted at night, probably especially during the low season. However we felt comfortable walking at night from the beach to the compound (5 minutes from the seaside to the actual BnB).

We had a few lovely days in Ann-Sofies apartment. Everything was as described and by far the best accommodation we had in Zanzibar. The host is super friendly and accessible. Will highly recommend this to everyone going to Paje!

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!
