Holiday rentals with a patio in Paje

The Airbnb looks even prettier in person than on the pictures. All the information given by Ann-Sofie was very accurate and helpful. She even helped me organize a taxi from and back to the airport that has a fair price. If I had a question or an issue she was available asap and her responses were always swift and helpful. The accommodation is amazing and beautiful. I will definitely visit again! The compound also has a reception area and little coffee area for breakfast. The pool is always available and very nice to cool off even after a Long Beach day. (Hopefully next time they will have some umbrellas- the delivery is delayed) but apart from that it is beautiful. You can reach a lot of restaurants and the beach by foot and Ann-Sofie also provides information on how to find your way around the area. All in all 10/10

Loved my stay here. Very friendly and respectful staff. Cleaned, colorful and peaceful. The beach here is mesmerizing. Loved the delicious food. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it.

Ivanka is a super host. She made my stay unique and special. She made sure I was supported and gave me an orientation walk around the area showing me the local hotspots. Always responsive to my questions. Friendly and smiling. She went the extra mile to accommodate all my needs. Laundry service on the spot was a sweet touch. His helper Julius is also a super human. Took care of me and introduced to local people. Both make a great team. The house is located in an excellent location. 3 minute walk to the beach, main strip, restaurants and supermarket. Full toilet, AC, all amenities included. Private feeling within the villagers. If I ever come back to Paje, I’d come back to Ivanka in a heartbeat. A nice cozy place in Jambiani Very private and has all the facilities you might need,just 3 minutes walk from the beach and to nice local restaurants and little grocery stores. Lisa and her husband will give you all the directions and suggestions to enjoy your visit of the South of Zanzibar. Highly recommended!

Nadja was a great host, very helpful and communicative. Only a few minutes to the beach on foot. The rooms are lovely: spacious and clean, comfortable beds, kettle, mosquito nets, own bathroom, and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed. Thanks Nadja!

Great local location - better for Sustainable Tourism than staying in hotels that sap the electricity demand and the sea view from the villagers - great view from Zebra House just 2 mins walk from the beach. Zamda, the housekeeper, was an absolute gem and made the stay very comfortable and relaxing.

Stayed for 8 days with my family. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen had all the essentials and we had a fantastic time. The pool was great too! Nakudenda House is a nice, spacious house in the heart of Jambiani village. The beach is just a stone's throw away. Lots of nice restaurants around. The house offers comfortable, large bedrooms. It's nicely decorated and has all you need to enjoy wonderful Jambiani. Eta and Romain are very nice hosts, very proactive and try to solve any problems as quickly as possible. Communicating with them was very easy and they go out of their way to make your stay a nice one.

City center accessible in less than 10 minutes on foot, accommodation as described. Diana and Omary were very flexible with our check-in and check-out times, in addition to being always available to answer our questions. Thanks!

Regina was an amazing host, we had a great time staying at her home! We were just a 5 minute walk from the beach and from many restaurants, including The Rock and Upendo Beach. She was very responsive and very helpful/accommodating. Would highly recommend staying with Regina!

Our stay in Uroa was wonderful. Emanuele put us in touch with his property manager who helped us with everything from airport transfers, setting up tours and even getting some medicine when some of our family came down with the flu. Uroa is a little bit remote in terms of amenities but that is what we were looking for. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance on the beach but not much more than that. We enjoyed walking the beach every day, swimming and wading out to the sand bar at low tide. There are also people/companies on the beach if you want to setup snorkeling tours or watersports. The caretaker and the housekeeper do a wonderful job keeping up the property and the housekeeper even made a few meals for us with the groceries we bought in Stonetown! The house was beautiful and in good repair. Beds were good and the pool was great to relax in. Overall, it was a very relaxing stay, just what we needed at the end of our trip to Tanzania!

We had a wonderful week at the resort. The villa is excellent, very nice ambiance. The location is wonderful to the sea side and the pools. Ania and Ali were always available and immediately helped with any problems, such as the known power outages. The tours that Ali offered were also highly recommended. The restaurant on site offered a great, varied cuisine and high professionalism. Only swimming in the sea was a bit difficult, as most of the day there was low tide. The pools were a good alternative and always very clean. The stay was a great experience and we would come back anytime!

Marvelous was so kind and helpful, connecting us with local boat rides and scooter rentals, making our experience seamless and stress-free. Her staff, especially Godliver, was beyond amazing—one of the sweetest and most attentive people we’ve ever met. The food was excellent, and what really made this stay unforgettable was the perfect balance of privacy and accessibility. The house felt wonderfully remote and peaceful, yet it was still close enough to Jambiani for a fun day trip or an evening out. The rooftop was a major highlight—we spent our nights unwinding there, taking in the stunning views. The oceanfront location was breathtakingly untouched, with clear waters, sea anemones, and plenty of fish to admire. It felt like a private slice of paradise. My husband and I had such a wonderful time that we will absolutely be back. I can’t recommend Marvelous and her team enough!

Communication with host Yussuf was seamless and timely. His responses were clear and concise. He gave us a good discount for our family of 4. The co host pendo was super kind. She checked us in and also took us to the pier restaurant for that much needed dinner by the ocean. She also recommended places to shop at in case we needed to. Wonderful spot!

Incredible, serene and homely place in a quite neighbourhood with good security. Neat home, great furniture. I really enjoyed making breakfast in that kitchen, it had all the utensils we needed. And for the first time after a long while l got to eat breakfast made by my little brother, imagine. What an experience we had. Abdalrahman is a great host, always willing to assist and promptly responded to us. He even gave us good recommendations. Not only was Abdalrahman a great host, what made it even more special was that he partnered us with a great and reliable driver. We were picked up from the airport and that was the start of a memorable week. Yussuf (driver) took us to all the remarkable places and was also so helpful in breaching the language gap when we had to deal with other locals, he even taught us a bit of Swahili. We're definitely coming back!!!

We enjoyed staying at Rashad’s place. It’s close to everything and just a walking distance to the beach. There are other restaurants around the place. Cleaners comes every morning if you want cleaning. Rashid is a nice person and easy to communicate with as well. I highly recommend this place to other Airbnb community.

A good place for a one-night stay. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Walkable to go to the beach and go eat. Nice house manager Mr Jerry. The place doesn’t have WiFi (even though it is advertised), which is tough if you don’t have a local SIM card, and are depending on WiFi for coordinating your trip. Remember to bring bath towels, soap, and toilet paper, as there are no essentials included in this listing. Also the area is prone to electricity blackouts, so if you’re used to staying in hotels with generators, be prepared when staying in any AirBnB in Zanzibar, for blackouts.

Thank you very much for the wonderful stay at the apartment. We were well informed from the start, and communication during our stay was very easy and friendly. Sheila was very kind and always cleaned our apartment perfectly. The location is excellent for accessing shopping options or the beach. The complex is clean, safe, and beautiful, with a great pool area. We will definitely come back again.
