We had a really lovely stay at this characterful home — it’s full of charm and personality, which made it feel really special. The added bonus was how well-equipped it was for children, with lots of thoughtful amenities that made our trip much easier as a family. Check-in was smooth and straightforward, and the host was incredibly friendly and responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay The only small observation is that it could benefit from a slightly deeper clean, as we did notice some dust in places. That said, it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our time — just something to be aware of for future guests. Would absolutely recommend and would love to return

Myself and two friends recently stayed at Bay Tree Cottage for a long birthday weekend and had a lovey break. The location of the cottage is perfect, next to the harbour, in the middle of Staithes, close to local shops and amenities and some great local walks too. Watching the sunrise over the harbour in the morning was fabulous! The cottage was easy to find thanks to Kevin’s clear instructions and information provided, and inside exceeded our expectations. As a host Kevin was very proactive in communicating with us before, during and after our visit. We would recommend Bay Tree Cottage for a relaxing break and are looking forward to returning in the future at some point!

We had a wonderful stay at Sue's cottage on Market Square. Perfect position, for eating out pubs, cafes also butchery and a gem of a bakery around the corner. Would take my cup for a coffee and croissant for breakfast each morning. We did numerous walks during our week stay. Even took a drive over to Staithes on the coast. The Theakston brewery tour was informative in the history of this old brewery.Position perfect to travel east or west in the Dales & Moors. Loved it, thank you Sue for providing this cottage in Masham.

Great location, peaceful and relaxing time with my partner

Arrived with 8 friends and instantly fell in love with the place, everything was clean and prepared with instructions and recommendations on food and activities in the local area, spent every night enjoying ourselves rather in the hot tub or living room playing games and was an overall great experience.

Lovely, clean, spacious lodge in a lovely setting with a perfectly placed hot tub. The lodge meet all our requirements. Plenty of storage space, extra bedding provided and all the essentials. Highly recommended.

As a large family group we had a great stay - just wish it could have been longer. Loads of space for our group of 9 adults and a one year old. The garden is huge and the play area at the bottom was a big hit with our grandson. Would definitely stay again.
