Shelly & Ken are amazing hosts that know the importance of little touches around the home! We were so impressed with the details they have painstakingly put into this Bed & Breakfast! Spectacular historical buildings and modern amenities made this a weekend to remember! The food! The mattress and bedding! The family photos and artwork! The 2 lil doggos!! The lil mouse peeking off the Grandfather Clock!! Thank you for making my husband’s birthday weekend more than perfect!

Gleydys was the best host ever! She made us feel so welcome in her home and provided the most delicious breakfast which was a bonus! She shared wonderful history with us and offered great suggestions for surrounding activities and sights. We fel so much love from her and I will definitely return to stay with her again. She's the Best!!!

Paula was kind and helpful. My bedroom was lovely with an en suite private bathroom and comfy bed and recliner. It’s quiet in the country. She also provided a delicious breakfast and was flexible with last minute changes to my check in.

We loved our stay here! The location is easy to find and it has private parking. The check-in process was simple and the hosts were very helpful! We will definitely rely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Barbara was a delightful and attentive host. She was very friendly and responsive to questions. I especially appreciated the flexibility she was able to give us with check-in and check-out times. We stayed in three of her rooms (Madrid, Venice, and Vienna), and the were all stunning. The continental breakfast was as delicious as it was beautiful. I recommend this wonderful B&B without reservation, and look forward to future stays!

Ms. Barbara is an absolute doll! She was very accommodating and always quick to respond to messages. Her breakfast is amazing and I loved that she used local products as well. Each room has its own unique style and I was really interested in the stories of each room. The bathroom and tub were amazing- it brought back memories from my Grandma’s house when I was little. The house has history as well, and the atmosphere was super cozy. The bed was almost too comfortable to want to get out of :) We will definitely plan another visit as soon as we can, and hope that Ms. Barbara isn’t booked up at the time. Thank you again for EVERYTHING, Ms. Barbara!!

Great place for a good night’s sleep. So friendly and cozy. The president’s room is full of history, too. Very fun.

We were traveling from CA to NY and Doreen’s place was on our way and we spent one night there. Doreen was so kind to meet us personally when we arrived at about 2am at night! She is a great person, and what breakfasts she makes!! The room was very clean and we had a personal bathroom across the corridor. The bed is huge and soft and very comfortable even though I am not a fan of soft beds, but this one was perfect. We enjoyed this short stay so much, it was one of the best in quite a while.

Rachelle was amazing! She's friendly, helpful and makes an amazing breakfast! The home is clean and I loved the history of the home she shared with us. Rachelle made us feel comfortable and like we'd been friends forever!

We had a great stay. Enjoying the hot tub in the snow was very fun.

The room was beautiful, and the proximity to Cornell's campus and to downtown Mt Vernon was perfect. Kim had my room ready in advance of check-in time and generously let me "move in" early--a much-appreciated kindness. I'd love to stay here again and highly recommend the venue!

Elaine is a wonderful host who embraces her role and makes you feel totally welcome in her home. She makes her guests comfort and enjoyment her main priority.

Todd was a fabulous host with a restored 1907 Mission style that is breath taking when you first arrive. The inside is exquisite and the restoration was meticulously done with the 1900 era that Todd has done throughout the home. A must to book if visiting Lincoln NE.

Jeremiah and Sheryl were excellent hosts! The house was perfect for a weekend away. Attention to detail and making sure the weekend was perfect, was much appreciated. We will definitely be back!

The home, built in the early 1900s, exudes charm and nostalgia, with its beautifully preserved antique furnishings and period decor. It was like stepping back in time in the most enchanting way. From the moment we arrived, Todd made us feel incredibly welcome. His warm hospitality and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of our stay. Breakfast was a highlight, with wonderful service and fresh fruit, bread, and the best coffee. The bed in our room was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights. The entire property was immaculately clean, and they thoughtfully provided everything we could possibly need. We were thoroughly impressed with the combination of historic charm and modern comfort. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Martha's Bed and Breakfast to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Check in was a breeze. The manager warmly greeted us and we felt right at home! I have a food allergy and manager was able to accommodate my dietary needs for breakfast. Caroline the host has exquisite taste in decor! It’s a charming Bed & Breakfast! We loved staying at Ms. Murphy’s B&B and highly recommend it!

The host was able to accommodate a last minute reservation on a Saturday night when every hotel in town was full after my wife and daughters hotel reservation got messed up and left them stranded. The host immediately called me after I booked the trip and drove over to the property to get a room ready for them. The room was nice and there was plenty of amenities (the host even went and stocked up on food for them). They really saved the day so my family could make it to their dance competition in the morning. Highky recommend. Thank you so much!

Caroline was a wonderful host and her B & B is adorable. It’s very well decorated, eclectic and cozy. Caroline was very kind and welcoming. She was responsive to our questions and gave us a thorough tour when we arrived. Breakfast was served in the dining room and the home cooked meal was delicious. There is parking on site and it’s a short walk down to Main St Galena. We would not hesitate to stay there again and we hope to come back in the summer when we can enjoy the beautiful garden!

I love when my kids walk into a space and are just in awe and then start exploring. The design details were spot on. Without hesitation, I can recommend a stay here. From the description it was clear the entrance was from the garage, but this was not the primary garage so at the time it was not in use. I have stayed at other places where you heard the hosts coming and going - not the case here very quiet. There is a basic park across the street with lots of space. Someone even left a basketball for use which was nice bonus. We didn't venture around town or the area - just passing through.
