Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Polk County

This is a lovely place to stay! I needed a bit more storage in the master bath for all my makeup and hair tools, but for a guy it would work fine. A more easily accessible backyard would have been a little better for my dog, otherwise this was a charming, clean, and perfect place to stay for a dog show weekend. There is a nice washer and dryer if you get wet in the snow. I loved the feel of the idyllic, quiet neighborhood, the hot tub was great and the little gym/ office is a super idea! If you like games there’s even a pac-man up in the attic. But don’t choose this one if you have trouble with stairs because it has lots of levels. I really enjoyed this stay!

We really liked this house and how well it was set up! Everything was clean and there were very nice amenities. The game room was an awesome bonus for the kids! We really appreciated the amount of communication and kindness we received from the hosts. We would definitely stay here again!

We rented the main house and the guest house and our stay was fantastic. If you are looking for a property where you and your friends/family can have a great time without having to leave the house this is it! Robert was easy to get in touch with whenever we had questions and everything was as described. We really enjoyed hanging out by the pool and cooking in the high tech kitchen. If we come back to this area we will definitely be renting this house again!

Joseph and Leann were extremely helpful. Their home is beautiful and close to Des. Moines and surrounding towns. We really appreciated that they accommodated our 2 dogs. We would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable home away from home. Everything was just right and nice small touches throughout the home, such as a towel warmer, and hot chocolate. Would stay again if back in the area.

I really loved this Airbnb!! I can see why it’s so highly rated. It’s so homey and comfortable, great for groups! Bringing our pups was a huge plus. Most dog friendly Airbnb’s aren’t that great but Jen’s place was perfect and spotless. The neighborhood was very safe and a great place to walk the dogs! We would definitely stay again!

Our family gets together every other Christmas and have stayed in hotels. We opted to try an AirBnB. This beautiful Victorian home was the perfect size for our Christmas get away. It was quaint, charming, and evoked a feeling of family. Everything was ready for us and had a homey feel as we walked in. David answered my concerns ahead of our stay and questions during our stay. He made sure we had requested kitchen cooking appliances. He had the hot tub ready for use upon our arrival. He brought over extra firewood so we could have bonfires if we so chose and provided micro popcorn for Christmas movies. David graciously allowed us to bring our pets; three medium size dogs. Because of all of these things, our family Christmas was relaxing and fun for me, my girls, their significant others, and their pets. I'd recommend staying here and would do so in the future. My girls have stayed in rentals such as this before and praised our host as being the best they'd ever experienced.
