Beachfront holiday rentals in Portimão

This is our second time staying here. Great location steps from the beach. Dedicated parking spot. Great restaurants. Good AC and wifi if you need to work remotely. We will be back.

Great space, spacious neat and clean. Everything we needed was present and working. Location is fine, quiet and walkable. Good super close. Christina is a great host, very helpful. We had a nice, cozy holiday in Lagos.

We had a great stay at Sylvie's house, which is very well equipped and comfortable. Sylvie is super friendly and responds quickly to queries. We had our dog with us and loved the fact that we could access a lovely walk straight from the property which leads to the lighthouse and coastal path from where there are spectacular views. The only downside for us was that the nearest beach does not allow dogs even out of the main season. It is a little way out of the main area of Ferragudo but this was not a problem as there were plenty of parking opportunities. Only an 8 minute drive to 2 main supermarkets so easy to stock up with supplies. We would definitely come back again next time we are in the area.

A truly enchanting place close to nature, where we could relax and enjoy the proximity to the sea with a fantastic view. I especially found that there were real houseplants in the apartment and also on the fantastic terrace. Wonderful place for the December vacation. A rental car is advisable as the complex is a little outside. We will be happy to come back.

I had a wonderful stay at Pedro’s place. You can hear the ocean from the balcony and the beach is less than 5 minute walk. I felt very safe there. It is also pristine and well kept and wonderfully designed, the moment I walked in I was excited to stay there. Thanks Pedro, I’ll be back for sure!

We loved our stay at Anna’s place in Portimao. The location was perfect as we only had a rental car for a week of our month long stay. We found the location to be ideal to go to a variety of beaches and an abundant amount of dinning options at your doorstep The larger grocery stores were also only a 17 minute walk away. Good value for a long term stay in the algarve.

Pleasant space, and well located, with good conditions and a lot of cleaning I really like it !

Angelo was such a lovely and gracious host. He was so accommodating and welcoming. The location can't be beat. Highly recommend!

Sam is a fantastic host and we couldn’t have asked for more. The apartment was spotless and in a beautiful, quiet location only a short walk to the local beach or into the old town where there are some great restaurants. This is the third time we have visited Ferragudo and will definitely be back again next year 😍

Francisca's villa has everything you could possibly need. Its in a beautiful and central location. We hired a car so we could visit Lagos, Sagres and Bergau (which were less then 30mins drive) but if you wanted to stay out you would be very happy here, with a beautiful beach on your doorstep and a great selection of restaurants and bars within minutes to be all to. Francisca gave great recommendations as to which to try. She was a responsive and helpful host. We will be back! Thank you souvh Francisca x

What a magical few days we had! The apartment is really lovely, as is the roof top view. All the stuff you need is there for small children - toys, books, highchair and blackout shutters were all really useful. Lots of lovely local restaurants and a stunning beach nearby which was quiet with great food options. Pool was a bit nippy as it isn’t heated but warmed up over the week, and was always empty when we went. We’d recommend Club Nau, Brunch in Rio, O Velho Novo and Delizie for yummy food and friendly staff. A really wonderful spot, and lovely place to stay with everything easy to walk to. Faro airport transfers easy with Uber as well.

Had a great week long break, the Air BnB was perfect and the pool is much bigger in person then in the photos.

Pedro is an amazing host and is highly recommended as he is very responsive whenever you message him! He helped save our trip by letting us check in after 3am. Local recommendations are provided at the house, it has a very spacious common area, quiet and safe neighbourhood and amazing pool! Only downside is the women of our group think he is too attractive. 😂

Very warm welcome and a very nice apartment where we felt at home. We didn't miss anything. The apartment is also very central and yet quiet. Everything is within walking distance. We especially thank Elaine and Stephen for a stocked fridge, all the other amenities as well as for the wonderfully warm communication. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great and as described in the listing! The appartment was clean and had everything we needed. There is a supermarket right downstairs where you can shop everything. The garage for parking was amazing. Edite was very proactive and responsive, we were kindly able to check in early as we had a morning flight. Thanks for the great stay!

Wonderful place, like feeling at home, the apartments are equipped with everything, even the first basic things for cooking, upon our arrival they made us find cookies, water and cheese and they made us taste the bread they made themselves, they have a vegetable garden where we could pick fresh tomatoes and figs directly from the tree, also available umbrella and small deck chairs for the beach. Carla's tips for visiting beaches and the restaurants she recommended were excellent.

This place was amazing. Enough room for all of our family. The apartment was well decorated and very clean. Rooms were excellent, beds comfortable and most importantly, AC working very well. Kitchen was a plus, super spacious and well equipped. We were right across the street from the beach and popular walking strip. Supermarket, atm, pharmacy, everything literally downstairs. We had restaurants all around us and they were all good. In addition, the hostess replied to our messages very quickly. I can’t wait to visit Portugal again and stay at this property. The house has a very nice beachfront view and we enjoyed going to the beach and walking down the promenade everyday. Plenty of parking available and we felt very safe walking at night in the neighbourhood. We were there during off-season, so it was quiet, relaxing and there were no crowds anywhere. Our dog was even „allowed“ to run freely on the beach as it wasn’t peak season! This was a workation for me and as promised by Danielle, the internet connection was fast and stable. I would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely place! Really good location. Close to the beach, restaurants but very quiet and peacfull. Great view on the river and fishetboats. Everything you can think of is present in kitchen, bathroom etc. Good host, easy check in. We loved it and will definitely be back in this beautiful house in lovely Ferragudo.

With all the many positive reviews here, I can only agree and emphasize again how great this place is! - The view of the castle and the harbor entrance with the river Arade from the balcony and terrace is simply stunningly beautiful (you can hardly sit more beautiful!). The decor of the villa is authentic and not hypermodern. Overall, we found it very consistent, also with the decoration. The bedroom with terrace and shower room is very spacious and the view is also super nice here. The 2nd bedroom is a bit dark, as the large window in it "only" goes to the small terrace in front of the house and does not really fall in a lot of light here. But since we didn't stay in this room for long except for sleeping, that didn't bother us. The only downside is that there is little space in the cabinets because there are many blankets, etc. The house itself is spacious, the living/dining area large and cozy. A great place for us!!

A super equipped and nicely furnished apartment where nothing was missing (except maybe an oven). There were plenty of dishes, towels and extra blankets. Air conditioning worked great, just should not be used with the dishwasher. In the bathroom, in addition to the normal shower, there was also a rain shower, which we particularly liked. We would book or recommend this location again right away. Had a great time!
