Guest house holiday rentals in Portimão

Thank you for the lovely stay with you! we felt at home and extended our stay twice because we enjoyed it so much. The apartment is very cozy and quiet and one has a sense of being completely in nature. We really enjoyed being able to drink our coffee on the window sill in the sun every morning. Rustic and quiet house, in the countryside, a 5-minute drive from the village and the beach. The place is extremely quiet and relaxing. The house is really big and spacious, more than you'd expect from the photos. The bathroom is also comfortable and very spacious. Really special house: of course not elegant, but functional and welcoming. The only downside is the pool, which is smaller than the photos suggest. We would definitely go back.

Quinta David surpassed all of our expectations. After a very brief stay in Lagos, we decided we wanted a much quieter town and Alvor ticked all the boxes for us. We are so glad we booked Quinta David. The apartment is beautiful with everything you could need for a stay. Daniels communication was excellent. The gardens and Pool were so peaceful and we even had the lovely company of the two very well behaved dogs and cats who would greet us everytime we came back. The location is excellent and only a short walk to the main restaurants and beach. Across the road is a supermarket and a few cafes. We will be staying here again for sure!

We had a really lovely stay at Luisa’s place! It is beautiful, clean and located on a quiet countryside lot next to her holiday home. The place is peaceful and secluded, yet within a two minute drive you are in the centre of Lagos. Also good base for exploring other beaches in the area :) thank you for the stay!

Peter and Jolanda were super friendly ,very helpful. I didn't have any personal car but Peter picked me from the bus stop and after checking out he also dropped me off at the bus stop with his own car. Everything was perfect and fine my two kids also enjoyed it a lot.would love to go back again. Thank you so much for everything.

The stay was spotless. Peter and Jolanda are both very friendly, kind and accommodating. If you have any questions or problems, it was helped flexibly (there are no problems). Our dog was easily tolerated, although he likes to be louder. The hospitality of the two is mega! The Airbnb was clean as described and everything you needed was there. The bed was cozy and the shower was also great (hot water + rain shower available). There is also a parking space, as well as an air conditioning and fan, both very pleasant to cool off. The pool was a great refreshment where you can also sunbathe perfectly. The location of the Airbnb is excellent as supermarkets or amusement parks such as Aqualand, as well as the beaches are all very easily accessible by car. A clear recommendation from us. Best accommodation in which I am true. You were allowed to use the 2 beach chairs the umbrella, washing machine and laundry rack for free. The location is very central in all directions in the Algarve. Directly on the N125 but not 1 m next to it but about 100 m. You have no real neighbors and really have your peace. about 2 km to the beach (you can walk but better by bike or car) There best sushi and also the first restaurant on the beach is excellent and cheap from the fresh fish. Very easy contact possible through WhatsAp contact. Very good internet. Big bed. In the kitchen is everything you need. Although there is no air conditioning, it is very cool and therefore not necessary due to the construction. By car, the place was really a dream. happy to come back 💞

It was wonderful with Aline and Miguel! The Airbnb had a mega view We were immediately in love, 😍 the rooms are all individually accessible from the outside, which was no problem at all with the nice weather. Very nice and cozy furnishings. Some restaurants and tourist spots were within walking distance. But a rental car was already required! We had everything we needed. This property is highly recommended. Food under the olive trees was fantastically beautiful!! We had a very, very nice stay!

Really good value for money. Good location (with car), clean studio, comfortable bed, hot water and equipped with cups, bowls, microwave, fridge, kettle.

It was a very lovely place in a very calm area. Nice view on the mountains. The place was equipped with a nice pool and petanque yard. It is about 10 mins by car to Lagos and the beaches. The hosts were very friendly, and even gave us fresh fruit and vegetables from their garden. We had a very pleasant stay.

We had a good stay here. The home is divided into a room upstairs and downstairs which you walk outside to go between, we liked the setup because it offers each room privacy. The place was comfortable, clean, and even has A/C and heat which was a nice surprise. When we checked in the upstairs room did not have a functioning shower; the shower head was broken in pieces and sort of taped together, but came apart as soon as the shower was turned on. Took a couple days to get a response from the host on this, but for us it was not the biggest deal. There was sometimes a sewer gas smell in the bathrooms, but we noticed this in most buildings we stayed while in Portugal so I believe it is just a common issue in the area.

A beautiful apartment with shared access to a lovely swimming pool. Super quiet and remote, yet close to the town of Aljezur for restaurants and grocery shopping. Many beaches nearby to explore, and the lovely owners provided us with fantastic tips for local eateries and beach spots. The noise insulation between apartments isn’t great, so you’re a little at the mercy of who’s next door (like us with our six year old son!), but there’s a sensible noise curfew in place to prevent parties etc. We loved it (and the this beautiful part of Portugal) and will be back!

Lovely flat with fantastic outdoor space. We stayed for just over a month and could have happily stayed longer. Village is small but with a good choice of restaurants and bars. Fantastic beach 5 min drive away. WiFi not the best if you work remotely but you can get by. The host made available a cot and a high chair which we appreciate.

I don't know how anyone can hesitate to come here, Emma is overflowing with kindness, I arrived completely exhausted and I left completely healed and recharged!!! 😍 My heart was heavy as if I was leaving lifelong friends and a friend's house, I just can't wait until next year to come back!!! 2 fresh eggs from their chickens, 2 beers in the fridge, unlimited oranges and lemons and an incredibly comfortable bed... these little touches that make everything coupled with Hemma's smile and kindness!!!

This property is truly a gem and every part of the experience added to our stay in the Algarve. The location is 2 mins away from a grocery store to stock up on food & wine and only 8 mins to Carvoeira and the popular caves/beaches to explore in the area. There are also several wineries nearby with many options to choose from. The apartment itself was very clean, in a quiet location, with all the amenities needed. With 4 people, there was a lot of space and we felt right at home, spending every single meal on the spacious patio. The pool area was absolutely incredible and the whole property was one we did not want to leave. Worth every penny and we would go back in a heartbeat!

Great stay at Frank's! His wife and daughters were very welcoming. The place was great and met our expectations. The rooftop for stargazing was a real plus. We loved the company of animals☺️ Small downside for the shower, complicated to adjust the water temperature.
