An ideal place, a nice house with space, to have a holiday with a family with larger children: something for everyone! By train you are easily in lively Porto, always a Bolt driver nearby to take you to nice places such as the beach on the Douro (Arnelas) or the somewhat more adventurous places like the Arouca Bridge, as well as enjoy beautiful sunsets, delicious coffees and waves brave just 1 dune away. Antonio received us very well and always responded very quickly

The house is lovely and larger than it appears in photos. The outdoor terrace is great and there are restaurants, a grocery store, and the metro within easy walking distance. It is also within walking distance to the ocean. Francisco is friendly, responsive, and provided great local suggestions.

I would definitely recommend this place. Beautiful view of the river, easily accessible via metro and bus. Walkable to the port cellars and restaurants. Antoine was always available and sent easy entry instructions ahead of my stay

Limpeza excellent, the owner Maria was very friendly with us, we had a delay in our arrival and Maria waited for us to be able to give us the key. Clean and very clean rooms and the impeccable bathrooms. Very good location facing the beach and relatively close to restaurants and supermarkets. I advise everyone who has the opportunity.

Nice little place in an ideal spot if you’re just looking for somewhere to relax. The terrace over looking the ocean is great, and you can walk for miles along the coast line on the walk way. Exactly what I wanted.

I loved my stay, the very welcoming apartment and very well equipped with everything that is necessary, from the balcony you see the sea... Rui is a super helpful, attentive and excellent communication host, it responds very quickly to messages. We love everything and when we return to Povoa concerteza we will return to hosperdar here.

A beautiful apartment with absolutely everything you could need for a family holiday! Natacha’s place is spotlessly clean, lots of space and so many little extras it really felt like a home from home. The views of the sea and the sunset from the balcony were amazing! The pool was huge and clean and the surrounding area peaceful but close enough to Porto and Gaia by bike or a quick Uber ride. There is a boardwalk and cycle path just across the road that goes all the way down the beach to Porto. There is a supermarket nearby and some lovely beach bars and restaurants along the front. Natacha was a perfect host - friendly and very responsive and helpful with lots of ideas and suggestions for our stay. Our teenage girls loved the surf lessons that Natacha suggested and we had lots to do and lots of sights to see. Thank you Natacha for the perfect stay. We recommend 100% and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful, massive unit with tonnes of amazing natural light and ocean views. Very comfortable bed and living areas which were perfect for relaxing after a long day. Big kitchen with everything you could need for a meal any size. Ample parking for your vehicle right outside the entrance door. While Gaia and this location in particular is not “Porto” we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we were visiting. The drive from here to the porto old town and city centre can be done in under 15 minutes snd it’s very easy to come and go. This location feels so much less stressful than the busy, tough to navigate streets of Porto. Tonnes of restaurants and a grocery story within a walk or drive, great ocean walk right out front of the door.

We had such a lovely stay and the property exceeded our expectations. In our view, the property is even better than the photos showed. The property had everything we needed. We had great fun on the paddle boards Susana provided. It is worth noting that the public beach (400m away) does get noisy with some loud music, but we still had a wonderful time. Susana was great and very helpful and always responded promptly. Thank you Susana!!

Wow I really enjoyed the stay. The place is impeccably styled and is very conveniently located. The host is awesome and we were fed a daily supply of crazy amount of bread and pastries. What is not immediately clear from the photos is that the place is in a vicinity of a big port, but that is actually a very interesting view to see so we're more than enjoyed the stay and would totally come back again.

The houseboat is a unique and perfect experience for two people who want to get away from the routine. The house was impeccably clean, with furnishings in excellent condition, and its location is easily accessible, especially for those arriving by train. There are nearby markets and restaurants, which makes it much easier. We traveled in a very cold season, and Miguel instructed us to turn on the heaters as soon as we arrived, which ensured our comfort. He was extremely attentive and made great recommendations. I recommend the houseboat with eyes closed! It's a really worthwhile experience.

Very lovely flat with nice ocean view. The hosts are welcoming and the communication is on point. We'll gladly come back when we visit north Portugal again.

Perfect, highly recommend, 10/10!

Our party of seven adults and two small children had a fabulous stay at Rui’s property. The location was perfect. There was a gorgeous beach very close to the house. The very good restaurants and shops nearby meant that we had the flexibility to access all that we needed without a car. The station nearby enabled us to travel easily to Porto. Ubers were cheap which gave us another option when there were train strikes. The house was very well equipped and individual bathrooms made it easier with a large group. Hot water was plentiful. A couple of the bathrooms smelt a bit damp at times but this was not too much of a problem. Rui was the perfect host, extremely helpful and quick to answer all our questions. The guidebook gave us great information. We were very impressed with the recommended restaurants. We would definitely recommend.

Walkable to the beach and local shopping. Apartment is clean and well equipped. Convenient elevator to help with luggage. Available free street parking. Wonderful spot for women! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

we had a wonderful stay and immediately felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, it was only a short stay of two nights, you can certainly stay here longer and have a great time in the immediate vicinity of the Atlantic. Despite delays in our arrival, we were welcomed super friendly and personally still at night. Thank you very much!

My family had a very nice stay in Pedro’s apartment. It’s nicely located near the beach and in cozy neighbourhood. Pedro was very friendly and always available in case of need! Very nice stay!
