Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pratovecchio Stia

We loved our visit to Massimo's home. We stayed in this home during our Tuscany tour. Beatrice allowed us to leave our luggage before check in which was very convenient as we didn't want to leave them in the car during our visit to Siena. While it was a bit far from places like Pienza and Cortona (about 1 1/2 hours), it was incredibly convenient to our car drop off in Florence and our visits to Siena and San Gimignano. I HIGHLY recommend using the link they send to arrive. I once simply typed in the address and Google Maps took me to three locations in San Casciano (one up a very steep mountain!) before I remembered that I had a different link. I can't say enough about relaxing in a hot top over looking the vineyards as the sun sets. You should definitely pay the extra cost!

We had a very pleasant time here. Carlotta was very friendly from the start, and even recommended local grocery stores. This place is a hidden gem! You are surrounded by beautiful trees & nature, but close enough to the town where you can easily catch the train to Florence. We absolutely loved it!

We had such a lovely stay at Bernardino’s villa! He greeted us when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. The home is very charming and peaceful, and centrally located to explore Tuscany. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay in Florence was incredible thanks to Max’s hospitality. The property was very secure, walkable to all of Florence’s beautiful surroundings. Near a park, which was perfect for my children. He included great local recommendations, offered to arrange car services, and even included some wonderful family history with our checkin. The space is gorgeous and convenient. Would absolutely stay here again and again!

Beatrice was a wonderful host and accommodating of our needs traveling with a two year old. She was very responsive and gave amazing recommendations for places to eat and visit. The location is stunning - even more beautiful than the pictures! Every direction you look has rolling vineyards. We opted to have them cook a special birthday meal one of the nights, and it was delicious. The only small downside is there isn’t a common area to spend time in besides the kitchen (just the layout of the house). We loved it and hope to come back some day!

The property is stunning and a very quiet rural setting. The view is spectacular. At night you can see all the stars. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The house is very clean. Andrea gave us a personal tour of his home and his family history is amazing. We thought it was a very personal touch to greet us at check in. He also called the day of our departure to say goodbye and came to the house for another short conversation. Andrea gave great recommendations for food, groceries, tours, etc. the location of the Airbnb made day trips very convenient. We would definitely come back. We felt refreshed after a few days. We also loved his two dogs!

From the location, to the space itself, everything was perfect and an amazing place to stay the weekend. Our favorite part was the fireplace in the bedroom! we would love to come back!

Beautiful stay, little bit outside the city center which is what I prefer, but it's absolutely walkable with the tram a 5 minute walk away. It's quiet, peaceful, and smells of the blooming wisteria. The garden is a pleasure to be in. The hosts were responsive and made it very easy to check in and to know where and how to get around. I would stay here again if I'm ever in Florence.

Stefania was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Her home is in a nice area away from the crowds. We chose to walk into the centre but there is a bus station close by.

We had the most amazing time at this beautiful Tuscan house! The location is stunning– nestled in the rolling hills, surrounded by olive groves. Waking up to such breathtaking views every morning was a dream come true. The house itself is full of charm and character, with traditional stone walls, beautiful windows, wooden beams, and cozy, comfortable furnishings. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. We especially loved the ‘tower bedroom’ with view to Siena ‘skyline’. Only downside is that you can hear the ‘Autostrada’ when the wind is ‘set wrong’.

Our stay here was perfect! It is such a lovey Tuscan place that made us feel right at home. It is a short 10 minute walk from the center of Greve and it provides lovely views of the surrounding areas. Luana is very kind and quick to respond to our questions. We highly recommend this place for future guests! The only advice we can give for guests staying anywhere in Tuscany is to pick up some mosquito spray - they are everywhere.

The home was great - exactly as advertised. As for John and Christine, they were delightful, knowledgeable, and engaging. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and offer valuable, local's insights. Warm and friendly, they made us feel right at home. We would recommend their home to anyone traveling to Greve or Panzano.

We loved Oscar's place. The restaurant was fantastic for breakfasts and dinners. The property was beautiful. This would be a special place for small wedding! The pool was inviting too! It was a pleasant surprise to meet all of their animals! 2 horses, 2 pigs, ducks, goats, sheep, chickens. rooster, cats and 2 dogs! We had excellent wine with amazing food while watching gorgeous sunsets. Oscar's and family are it easy and comfortable.

We loved our stay at Giulia’s - it was like home from home and had everything we needed. It has beautiful surroundings and is great for cycling! Giulia was very helpful with recommendations and friendly too.

A truly stunning place with incredibly welcoming hosts. The villa exceeded our expectations in every way. The interior is filled with beautiful historic furniture, details, paintings, and books. The cozy fireplace in the living room added a special charm. We loved making pizza in our very own wood-fired oven, using the outdoor BBQ, and dining al fresco surrounded by breathtaking views. Every moment at Poggio del Fattore felt special, offering the perfect blend of comfort and authenticity. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Tuscan countryside in style!

We booked Villa Montechiarone as part of our wedding at Montechiaro Organic Winery to house a group of 7 guests. The property sits around 500m from the winery itself, with views out over the Tuscan countryside, it's a breathtaking location and the villa itself is an incredible space. There are 2 huge indoor living areas, a well equipped kitchen, 4 spacious bedrooms and an outdoor covered terrace, as well as the garden and pool area. There is real character in the property in the way it is decorated as well as the imposing facade of the building itself. The pool area is spacious and well placed to take in the most of the view, and there is a car port with parking for at least 4 cars covered, with plenty more room if required beyond. Overall perfect for housing our guests who had a great experience and were very thankful for the help whilst checking out also!

I had tears of joy upon arrival. This home is exactly what you dream of in Tuscany. It is nestled on a hill with beautiful gardens, amazing sunrises and sunsets, a private outdoor table space and you can hear the birds singing all around you. The house had a private gated yard with parking that makes you feel safe. The home has so much Italian charm. It was a little cold during our stay in March, but there was lots of extra blankets to use at night and access to firewood. I would love to return in the summer to see the vineyards and use the pool. Everything was wonderful, including our very welcoming hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa in Tuscany and felt at home right away. The hosts, Silvana, Iacoppo, and Bruno, took excellent care of us and were always attentive to our needs. The villa itself is spacious and well-equipped with everything one could ask for. The beautiful pool with its stunning views and the cozy fireplace area were definite highlights. Cristina is the ultimate host! Everything was immaculate and set up for us. We traveled with two young kids, and she was proactively prepared with a crib & high chair. She also had amazing recommendations and answered any questions for us. Led us to a spectacular sunset winery in the hills. The premise has stunning views and hanging poolside in the mountains, was just what the doctor ordered. Highly recommended and makes you feel like family!

Fantastic accommodation with lovely views of the countryside. Especially loved the fire place and large spacious kitchen. Charley and Ann were very gracious hosts and I would have no problem recommending this accommodation to anyone who wants to visit Tuscany. The accommodation was within 30 mins of most tourist towns and trains which made it excellent for day trips.
