Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Province of Matera

I was wonderfully welcomed by Ida who is a lively and charming woman. She was involved in the cultural development and revaluation of Matéra and will be able to advise you best to understand and appreciate this breathtaking little town. Her home that is at the heart of the old town is easy to access. The room is very nice, comfortable and impeccably clean, the view through the window is magnificent. It was a pleasure to meet Ida who as suggested by her interior and a quality person with a certain originality, enthusiasm and advice were invaluable for this short stay that was intense and memorable.

As so happens in traveling, what was planned as a quick stopover becomes a highlight. This B & B (note that this is a en-suite bedroom with a shared kitchen) was awesome. On the edge of town so there was room to safely park our bikes and enjoy the patio and gardens. The host Magdalene was welcoming and the breakfast was outstanding. Everything was sparkling clean, great hot shower, fast Internet. Very bright and airy compared to other Airbnb’s we stayed at in historic districts.

The apartment was fabulous - clean & spacious. Giuseppe was the best host - kind & responsive. The location was ideal - so close to everything. The terrace was even better than I’d expected! Sitting on the terrace eating our breakfast while looking out over the city was dreamy and a perfect start to our day!! Grazie mille, Giuseppe!! I 100% recommend you and your lovely home!!!

Amazing host and her family. They were waiting for me and settled me in and shortly had a great dinner at the villa. This whole family is really special!

The B&B was very close to the stones and the station. The owners are very kind and have given us many suggestions to visit the city. The rooms are cute furnished. I recommend the B&B Pignatelli for your trip to Matera.

great hospitality from Mr. Antonio, very helpful. Very comfortable and heated room. Cleanliness at the top, quiet location. Great and abundant breakfast. Strategic location to visit Matera, but very nice also Montescaglioso with its abbey. Nice long conversations with Antonio and the staff. Congratulations to them too. Highly recommended!

Clean, tidy, easy parking, bedroom with renovated en-suite bathroom, mosquito nets, great breakfast, coffee maker available for guests. Simply put, I can only give a more than positive rating. Absolutely kind and helpful host. 5 stars deserved. thanks to the next one

Giuseppe and Silvana are great hosts, always available to help with recommendations. A particular mention to the amazing breakfast, with local homemade food. We really felt at home.

Andreina's apartment is very well located very close to the old city which is an incredible discovery! She was able to adapt to our check-in schedule, everything is clean and welcoming at her place!

Giuditta welcomed us very nicely, and also looked after us superbly. She was really very friendly. It is beautifully quiet and secluded. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Fardella. There you can go to a bar, for example. I'd love to come back.

The accommodation offered is as expected and described, although there is no parking on the other hand. Despite this, the host is responsive and very nice and the apartment is really very well located for visiting the city

Very nice room, very clean and in a great location. Unfortunately, their pastry shop was closed during our visit, and for breakfast they leaned on a bar absolutely not up to the rest, rude staff and little choice in breakfast (only coffee and sweet croissant). Otherwise, everything is perfect
