Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Province of Parma

We had a great time over the winter holidays in this beautiful historical building in the heart of Parma. The house was clean and warm and has amazing spaces. Adriano was a great host, he explained in great detail the history of the building and its surroundings and gave us some good advice in events happening in the city. The only improvements I would suggest are: some extra (or new) pillows for the beds, a renovation of the first floor lighting (lights are quite low and bright) and perhaps a larger/comfier sofa for the living room. Overall we had a great experience!

We will be back! The house is really a fantastic place to stay! It was even nicer in real life than the pictures. The pool was definitely the highlight and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped and had all that we needed. The fantastic view was particularly impressive. Also, we got great recommendations for excursions and restaurants. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be happy to come back!

We had a great week in this hamlet with all the little treasures to discover nearby! House with its atypical and singular charm, a beautiful experience. We recommend the Appenins National Park with the lake of Santo Parmense, as well as the castle of Pontremoli with its amazing museum of steles. Definitely worth checking out! A one-of-a-kind magical place. Not very easy access (there is a fairly long dirt road to travel), but once we arrived we felt lucky to have found this place surrounded by nature. The accommodations are renovated with natural materials and respectful of rural architecture, tastefully furnished both outside and inside. Absolutely friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back.

Very comfortable house, clean and large pool. Pietro, despite not seeing him, was always available to respond and give us directions. The only downside is the location. You have to take a nice trip to do some things. But otherwise it's great.

The host was very kind and graciously welcomed us with really outstanding hospitality. The house is very charming and clean, simply lovely. Plenty of room for our family. Definitely recommended.

Really a fantastic setting! It is very nice to wake up here surrounded with peace and quiet. The swimming pool is wonderful and overlooks stunning scenery. The only downside is indeed the dirt road up. For the first time, it was hard. After that, you'll quickly know how much speed you need to keep. A tip is not to drive too quietly, but at least to keep something of speed in it. All in all a great place to stay

Claudio was very flexible during check-in... the apartment was well-stocked and Claudio made us find everything you need for a week-long stay... the apartment was clean and the area quite quiet.

We arrived in Parma super late in the afternoon and our initial pre-booked hotel had made a mistake and double booked. I requested to stay in Barbara’s place and she answered super fast, and we checked in 1,5 hour later. Thank you very very much 🙏 She made great recommendations for traditional trattorias and we ate at four of the restaurants! Lovely suggestions and quick responding time. The neighborhood is super cool, young and vibrant. You can feel real people are living and working there, not touristy at all. It takes 10 minutes of walking to Parma Centro. Felt safe all the time. The kitchen needs a few basics, like a knife, cutting board and a coffee maker/machine, so maybe it could be improved a bit. Beds were fined and soft and everything was super clean. We parked at the Kennedy Parking Site, 600 meters from the apartment. 12euros a day so super cheap. Parking in Italian cities is a nightmare and the apartment is also close but just outside ZLT signs.

A very welcoming host, he left us a binder with all the information we needed. We also had breakfast for the next day, in case we didn't have time to buy the necessities. Towels, shampoo, and other things like that, the perfect host who thinks of everything. Not to mention the apartment which was really perfect for our group of 8.

Clean, impeccable house.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best Airbnb stays in Italy, hosted by the best host. I have stayed in many Airbnb homes over the past 10 years, and while I have been satisfied with most of them, Francesca and her home truly deserve the highest praise. The apartment exceeded all my expectations, meeting every need with top-quality equipment and furnishings. The kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, closets - everything was simply perfect. Beyond that, the location is fantastic. If you were moving to Parma permanently, this is probably the first neighborhood you would consider. You are just a few minutes' walk from everything -supermarkets, the city center, restaurants...- yet the apartment remains incredibly quiet, with no noise or chaos whatsoever. Francesca, with her kindness and attentive attitude, is not only a fantastic host but also a truly wonderful person. I will be staying in Parma for a while longer, and I will always recommend Francesca’s home to any friends visiting me in Parma.

It was like being at home... clean, bright apartment equipped with everything I could need in the kitchen and bathroom. A coffee maker was available for breakfast, with its pods and a kettle with different varieties of herbal teas, tea and chamomile. The apartment is very close to the center of Casalmaggiore, I recommend a walk both in Piazza Garibaldi and along the banks. Beatrice, the girl who checked us in was very helpful and provided, she provided me with a list of supermarkets and pizzerias in the area. Highly recommended!

Davide was very kind and helpful. The house was clean and offered all the necessary amenities, with attention to detail. Quiet area and comfortable free parking under the house. I recommend taking advantage of the bikes that Davide offers his guests, a ride in Parma is an experience to do!

For many years I wanted to visit Parma, the Regio and above all the cycle of the Antelami Months. For my birthday, I looked for a place to stay and was impressed by Mrs. Manferdelli's proposal. It is a cozy and quiet artist apartment, full of creative ideas and suggestions of shapes, words, and colors. Equipped with all comforts, including a coffee maker, very close to the train station and a short walk from the historic center, which can also be reached with a walk along the stream. In the first surroundings, supermarkets and food for tasteful dinners. Our guest, with exquisite availability, made us feel welcome. We will also return, if possible, on the occasion of some operatic performances, of which, in the house, there are several books and prints.

Giovanna was super helpful and kind. The house is very nice, very well stocked with everything, including cooking and toiletries for guests. The area is very quiet and comfortable for the center and the station! Highly recommended

Excellent accommodation, collected but functional and well-stocked. Truly a stone's throw from the Center, with an evocative view of the Parma River that floods with light in the morning. Extremely clean and always pleasant smell, really recommended for a stay that is comfortable, intimate and pleasant in the beautiful city of Parma. I know the city very well but the Host has still provided me with tips to fully enjoy the local gastronomic specialties that I found very useful. Highly recommended.

I'd like to absolutely and sincerely recommend staying at Michela's apartment. First and foremost she is a great host, really nice and helpful person. I urgently needed a place to stay in Parma and she helped a lot and allowed for much earlier check in and later check out. The apartment was fully and well equipped with microwave, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Even when I had a small issue with a coffee machine, Michela gave me another one next morning. The apartment was clean and cozy. There is plenty of space, a lot of cupboards and big wardrobe. I can recommend staying there even for longer time. Grazie mille!

Simonetta is the ultimate host. We had a great time. I wanted to ask for the residence in that house. You can't wish for anything better. He made us find basic necessities and all well-known brands and a welcome bottle of D.O.C. wine. We will definitely be back to visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The Ultimate Pontremoli stay! - live and see this historic town in its fullness in this historic palazzo centrally located in the largest town the Lunigiana region of Tuscany. You'll be right on the main piazza by all the city life and have a wonderful view of the river Magra and hills toward Liguria. The house is comfortable and airy - with all the right amenities to feel at home and to enjoy a good visit to the area. From Pontremoli you have easy access to Parma in the north, Pisa/Lucca to the south and La Spezia (Le Cinque Terre) to the West- a superb place to base from and to experience some dolce vita!

I thoroughly enjoyed Tatiana‘s place. It was comfortable and very conveniently located. Would stay there again.
