What an oasis! We absolutely loved it here! We liked how private it was, while also offering easy access to the beach and restaurants/markets. The wildlife is incredible! We really enjoyed lounging in/by the pool and seeing pizotes, toucans, macaws, white-faced monkeys, iguanas and many other birds and butterflies. Gretchen and Tony have put together a beautiful home and we will definitely come back! Pura vida!

Great spacious house with a pretty pool. We had issues with Internet and water which we believe are not the host’s fault.

This mountaintop Airbnb made for an unforgettable first trip to Costa Rica. It is very secluded and the sounds of nature made it very peaceful. The ocean views from the infinity pool were incredible. We agree with the previous reviews that the photos can’t capture the serenity of this Airbnb. Cecile and her husband (owners) were residing in their house on the property during our stay and were extremely friendly and accommodating. The drive up and down is an adventure (that we really enjoyed!) Cecile includes very helpful instructions with photos to find it. A 4x4 car is an absolute necessity to get around in the Ojochal/Uvita area. There is so much to do nearby including lots of waterfalls (three of the four we visited were just a 2-minute walk to get to them!), guided night hiking, a day trip to Corcovado National Park, zip lines, etc. There are lots of yummy restaurants nearby and the kitchen has cooking essentials so we cooked for ourselves several times. We can’t wait to come back!

I travel for work in Esterillos and this location gave me very good value for money and a very quiet place to rest at night and run a little in the morning . 100 recommended.

I stayed just under a month. The space was clean - everything was as it should have. Ample bed linen for changing, access to washing machine was a huge plus. Host had prepared a book (both Spanish and English) outlining local areas of interest, some lovely restaurants, directions to local markets, location of bus terminals, and other bits of information that one might require. This allowed me to orient myself quickly and easily. Very much appreciated.

One of the cleanest most well appointed airbnbs ive ever stayed in. So well stocked with appliances for everything you could need. And fast wifi, right on the beach. Great gym and pool

Gissel's house is a cute jungle home! The green yard in the front is super peaceful and the front patio is an awesome place to hang out during any time of the day. It's also well located just a minute away from the Costanera so you can easily access Uvita or Domi when needed.

Jean is a wonderful host, even though she could not be there when I arrived she allowed me to check in early and was so kind and responsive. The room was simple and as described, clean and feel homey. The location is perfect- so peaceful. I walked everywhere, close to many waterfalls, running trails and yum food. Thanks for a wonderful stay❤️

Jean and her beautiful place is a hidden gem in UVita. It’s just high enough to get a gentle breeze in the mornings and evenings which provides relief from the hot days. It’s so close to so many waterfalls and the beach. Jean was so friendly and responsive to all my needs and requests and even made suggestions for places I could go and sightsee!
