Sundial Cottage, Stunning 3Bed Cottage with Hottub

EmilyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
had a beautiful weekend at this private cottage! could really see the thought that went into this listing- the hot tub being heated ready, robes being available for guests after the hottub, dog treats/bowls being left. The cottage was decorated lovely, the photos don't do this place justice. Tom was very responsive the whole time and was very accommodating allowing us to check out slightly later due to us getting picked up at 12 and the cottage not being booked that evening. will definitely stay again, hopefully in the summer when we can make better use of the beautifully finished outdoor area.

The Byre @ Low Waupley Farm with HOT TUB

NatalieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We have just returned from a lovely stay here at the Byre. The accommodation is exactly as described and the hosts were fantastic, providing lovely touches such as welcome baskets for us and the dogs. The location is great for exploring the local seaside towns, and very private. I would certainly recommend and would stay again.

Country Cottage With Hot Tub, Walks & Great Pubs!

CassandraRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Well what can I say about our Easter break at Scorton, other than fabulous.! What a house. What a location. What a host. The house itself was well set out and prepared. There was only three of us, but easily fit more. Locality you have an amazing village green with two pubs that do food. We tried both. Lots of walking locally and visits to neighbouring Ripon, Richmond and Northallerton. Loads of space in the house and we were welcomed with some Prosecco, ginger biscuits and Filter coffee which was a lovely touch. We loved the log fire, which had plenty of logs, to last us over the four days. We will definitely be back โค๏ธ

Hootsman

OliverRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Everything about this venue is lovely. Dog friendly, nice decor inside. 200m walk to a local pub which served great food. The WiFi struggled at times but only a minor issue as there was absolutely no signal on my phone. The only downside to the whole stay is that I was charged ยฃ50 to use the hot tub for two nights and I had to heat it myself as it was a natural one. If I was using their electric then fair enough but using extra wood (that I brought just in case) to do it myself, the price felt excessive. Also having spoken to family about some of the places they had stayed the cleaning fee of ยฃ50 felt a touch high compared to other properties of similar size. A few minor issues but overall a superb location and would recommend to others.

The Milking Parlour

RachaelRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a lovely stay in the milking parlour, check in was easy no messing around the cottage was ready for us when we arrived, the space is much bigger than it looks too. The cottage had everything you needed and a lovely open fire also, we used the shared hot tub every day it was absolutely lovely. The area is very remote which is lovely however for a week with 3 young children without having to drive 30 mins there wasn't lots to do but we were lucky with the weather so for us was brilliant if it was cold and rainy however I'm not sure it would've been the same. Whilst there we visited the roman fort, hadrians wall, walked into the local village, visited talking tarn country park where they had Mini golf and you can hire boats, we went to fairhill recreation ground that was a brilliant park for all ages and the dog loved it too! we also visited rowleys for raspberry picking which the kids even my 21 month old daughter absolutely loved! Loved this little place and will be back

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. Lynne is an excellent host and the place is very nicely decorated. We did a country walk nearby as there are lots of footpaths and we came across great views of the surroundings and local bird life. All in all another excellent trip. We highly recommend!

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed in very many years. Carol was a delight and the cottage had everything one could want. I was impressed by the number of books available, it was a joy.

Florence Terrace

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We've just got back from a 3 night stay at this beautiful cottage. The sat nav took us straight to the cottages and inside was beautiful and clean. The views are just stunning and with how beautiful the weather has been we haven't needed the heating. the beds are comfortable and quilts are very warm. having an electric shower in the main bedroom ensuite meant we didn't need to use the stove but it was nice that it was already lit when we arrived on Saturday. We walked out to the local village and had food at the coach house inn which was extremely delicious and the portions were generous. it was only a 40min drive from Whitby which was a great day out too. overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay again and explore more of the surrounding area as there is loads to offer.

We had a lovely stay at this very cute, quirky cottage in a good location, with all the supplies youโ€™d need. There were lots of things to do nearby. Helen was incredibly attentive and always happy to help and nothing was too much trouble. We were even able to purchase some of her amazing artwork. ๐Ÿคฉ Would definitely recommend to others.

Charming fisherman's cottage

JaneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The charming cottage was just as described, well equipped, spotlessly clean and good clear instructions left in the property. All appliances were easy to use including heating and bed was very comfortable. Although there is no parking, which is very rare in Staithes, it was easy to park up and unload, having stayed in Staithes many times I knew what to expect especially that climb out of the village! This time I used Glen Vale Car Park, this is a private car park and CCTV monitored which gives piece of mind. I definitely would recommend a stay here.

Wheelhouse,Grinklebell Cottage

KeenanRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very lovely and friendly host and a beautiful, clean and comfortable stay. It was warm and very welcoming with all the amenities you would want. It is however out in the stix and Google doesn't seem to like giving the correct directions on the maps app (no fault of the hosts) so just double check you have the right address to put into maps from the host. We will definitely visit again, nothing but positives to say about everything. Our baby also loved seeing and stroking the horses in the adjacent field. Would definitely recommend visiting Staithes and Skinningrove while you're there, both only 10 minutes away and are beautiful.

Fisherman's Cottage - peaceful Staithes location!

DuncanRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Itโ€™s a great house in a great location - 1 minute from the beach but tucked away up a quiet alleyway. Three big bedrooms. Kitchen was very well-equipped - lots of pans etc (and decent kitchen knives!). Night lights on the stairs and upstairs hallways were very useful.

The Bridge Cottage: A lovely spacious one bed cottage with sofa bed

VickyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
My partner and our dog had a lovely August bank holiday stay in Bridge Cottage. It was perfect for some walking, pub dinners and seeing the local sites. Mandy was super quick to respond with questions and the breakfast hamper we ordered was delicious! It kept us going all weekend. Weโ€™ll definitely come back to explore a bit more of the local area as it, and the Grange, are lovely.
