Sally's house was a perfect place to stay for a new years Eve getaway with friends. Plenty of space, beautiful area and super helpful instructions. The house felt so homely and the log fire and cosy duvets were lovely for this time of year. Hope we can visit again!

This place was wonderful, Claire was a fantastic host. I would stay here anytime that I go back. Recommended this place to lots of friends already. The photos do not do it justice. My brother was in a wheelchair and was able to get around easily in the house. So much space, lots of parking and beautiful grounds to walk around. Don’t have to look for a place next time I’m in England visiting friends and family because this is now the only place I will stay. Julie

A little gem. This was the perfect spot for our family, the kids loved the games room and trampoline (despite being 4C outside) and loved meeting the farm animals too. Local area is stunning with plenty to see and do. The accommodation was lovely and warm with some fantastic sunsets you could watch from the floor to ceiling windows. Would certainly stay again. Rustic Charm at the dairy was a lovely place to stay. It is full of character, as the photos show. The host, Kate, was very friendly and welcoming and answered any questions I had. I felt very cosy there. There was a good hot water supply and the beds were comfortable. I enjoyed staying there.

Beautiful home in a very peaceful setting, with plenty of space both inside and in the expansive gardens. Justine was there to greet us and responded to any subsequent queries promptly. It was so great to be able to pick the produce from the kitchen garden and to collect the freshly laid eggs, whilst the farm shop (for other supplies) is about 20 mins walk into the village itself. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend celebrating a very special birthday! Highly recommended!

Chisholm’s was absolutely gorgeous, filled with character and such a lovely place for a quiet getaway. The grounds are so beautiful and there is a very cute and friendly doggo around to spot too. The property itself is lovely, very well presented and cozy- a lot of thought has obviously gone into how to make things lovely for guests. Within short driving distance of places like Dedham, Manningtree and Mistley so we also visited some excellent restaurants. Polly herself is super friendly and nice, very responsive to messages and it was overall a lovely experience.

We had a brilliant stay at Wendy’s cottage. The location is perfect for a country getaway and only 30 mins drive to the sea. The cottage has everything you could need, full of character, big garden and the animals really made the stay special for our 2 young children. Thanks so much for showing us around Wendy!

Absolutely stunning place , 'Pop ' the land lady was attentive, polite and super responsive. This is the place you go back to over and over again .

We loved our little mini break here. Waking up to the sound of the Cockerell, making friends with the horses & lounging in the hot tub. What more can you ask for? The hut was fresh & clean with a very cosy feel. The owners had baked us a cake which was a lovely little touch plus tasted amazing! Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back xx

We had a great weekend staying in the annexe. Lovely and comfortable and clean with everything you could possibly need in peaceful, private surroundings. The Lamarsh Lion and Henny Swan were both very good. Nyree was a great host and super helpful . There’s so many places to visit in the surrounding area; we’d definitely stay again.

An excellent well equipped property for a family get together. There were 11 of us, 6 adults and 5 children ages ranging from under 2, to 9. Lots of toys and books and a great games room to keep everyone happy. The orchard garden was perfect with swings, monkey bars and slide and enough space to kick a ball. We moved the picnic table from the patio area so we could sit whilst the children played. The walk to village was about 15 minutes down a quiet country lane. The local recreation ground was brilliant for all ages. Catherine was very quick to reply to queries before we arrived.

My friend and I, with our 3 dogs, had a wonderful escape here and felt so relaxed for the whole time. By day 2 we were talking about coming back.

Comfortable, cozy stay in a rural farm stay. We used public transport to get there. Buses are ~2.5 hours apart. There is a village shop 15 min walk away which has small selection of frozen food/sandwiches/milk/bread/egg and other groceries. Own vehicle is preferred to explore the area properly. Kids were happy to see the animals and feed them. Wendy rightly informed us that swimming pool was not operational at that moment before accepting our request.

We had a perfect stay at this gorgeous place over Christmas. Zoe made everything very easy for us, communicating clearly ahead of time, making our check in and out flexible and responding quickly to messages. The place was spotless and so well laid out and thought through, with a great attention to detail. We were so comfortable.

Lovely place to stay - there some really lovely touches, like breakfast goods, toothpaste and hot water bottles. Nice and warm, even in the freezing winter and very well equipped. Comfy beds too! Great communication and very clear instructions on finding the place. They also provided lots of things needed for our children. Thank you!

Stunning accommodation, exceptionally clean and well equipped. The location is very peaceful with beautiful views. A wonderful AirB&B and can highly recommend. Additional touches including local, fresh apple juice were greatly appreciated.

Had a lovely weekend in swan cottage, beautiful cottage, lovely location and hot tub was amazing. Great host. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely couple of nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The studio was cosy and well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable with beautiful 100% Egyptian cotton sheets. Boxford itself was very quaint and a great base for visiting Constable country, Bury St Edmunds and Felixstowe. Added bonus that we could bring our dog. Hope to return in the future.

Lovely and unusual converted stable, with character but modern facilities. Amanda and Simon were so welcoming and friendly, with lots of information, which helped us make the most of our three night stay. Fabulous location with a gorgeous walk to an excellent pub over fields. Exciting to walk home in proper darkness (torch provided!) Thank you for a wonderful mini break in a beautiful part of the country - it really was a breath of fresh air and the change of scene we needed.

The house is beautiful and even better than the photos. We were a party of 10 and we found we had everything we could possibly need and enough room to live comfortably. We stayed mainly around the house, cooking meals and playing games by the open fire but ventured out for country walks and to visit the alpacas, which were a highlight. Overall a fantastic weekend, we can't wait to come back.

Had a lovely stay at the weekend. was very clean and beautiful grounds. although in photos the sauna looks like its attached to the house, it isn't so that was a little disappointing, also the listing stated it was isolated, but you have a few neighbours next door and around. But we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a nice break. the playground was a good touch too, my daughter played on it constantly. host was lovely and helpful too.

It’s was great, we requested some extra logs and they were there on the door step when we arrived back from work. We have re booked next Friday! Highly recommend

A very nice property with the added bonus of a proper hot tub and a sauna. Very nice mix of old and modern inside too. Lots of local pubs with good food.

This was our 2nd New Year’s Eve in a row. Perfect place to get away from city living. The one thing that makes this stand out from many other places we have stayed is that fixtures and fittings are really high quality and this makes for a really great stay.
