Chalet holiday rentals in River Thames

Our second stay at Lisa’s chalet was lovely. Lisa was a perfect host who made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated the milk and biscuits that were left for us when we arrived. We’ve really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely be back again. ☺️

Roger was quick to respond and the place was just what I needed for a short stay. I was in town for a project that meant I was out all day but wanted a room to chill or get a little work done in the evenings, and for this it was perfect.

A lovely chalet, perfect for our family of 4, good value and had everything we needed for a weekend. The hot tub was a great touch, we loved it! And the kids loved the putting green.

As always, a lovely stay at the cosy Holmdale cottages! Great for pets, walks and enjoying nature. The garden is completely walled so great for dogs. Raphaele is a super host, so responsive, and it was lovely to be welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and some chocolates! Rye is 4 mins drive from the property with loads of lovely agopsand restaurants. Many pubs also surrounding the cottage.

Such a fantastic stay! We booked super last minute but everything was ready for us upon arrival along with a lovely welcome basket. We had such a great stay, the team were super friendly when I had any queries and the stay couldn't have been better! We're already planning our return!

We stayed for a few weeks and we loved it that much we’d love to buy it and stay forever!! John the host was amazing with everything, nothing was any trouble, the place itself had to be in the best position on the holiday park… over looking the lagoon is so peaceful with nature at your fingertips…if you need more life it’s a stones throw away with 4 very friendly pubs just down the road you can walk to with friendly people and wonderful food… live music at weekends in some of them, it takes minutes to walk to the stunning harbour and beach… there is a bus stop at the entrance of the park which can take you to Chichester or Bognor or anywhere nearby really.. The accommodation is brilliant with everything you need from home to home … and wonderful layout, more like a bungalow with amazing views… Highly recommend.. we will be back for sure… thank you John for making our stay so great..

The house was perfectly descriped with clear onstructions. The area was private and quiet. The house was clean when we arrived and she help warm the house before our arrival. Everything was great. Thank you Linda.

We stayed at Olya’s beautiful Chalet for a hen party in February 2025. It was wonderful, we all had such a fabulous time and throughly enjoyed it at the chalet. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the whole premises. Olya is a fantastic host, very responsive and happy to help, also was very grateful with the flexibility with check in and out times.

Great place to stay. Very spacious and was nice and warm during our two night stay with sub-zero temperatures outside! Hot tub was basic but hot enough and was good value for money overall. We would definitely recommend this place and would like to come back in the summer as there looks like there would be plenty to keep the kids entertained around the campsite.

It was a great mixture of our family, from my husband in a wheelchair a lot of the time to two active small children, which the house just made so easy, there was space and toys for the children. Comfort for the adults and a kitchen that you didn’t feel isolated, and it became a hub of chat. Obviously, as it was February, the outside was not very inviting, but we did manage football in the garden at one point, and the hot tub was a touch of luxury! We all love the area and would love to revisit this easy going house

Very nice place very happy very friendly when asking questions and response time excellent had to ask about out door lights as was dark at the hot tub at night but within half hour of asking someone come round and put some lights on (could still do with a couple more lights around the hot tub as was still dark) other than that just couple maintenance bits like tightening windows and bar on wall coming out of the wall for hanging clothes on but overall very happy would recommend to others and stay again 👍

Great place for a relaxing weekend. Everything needed was provided for, more than enough plates, cutlery, pans etc. beds were comfy, bathrooms large and showers lovely and hot. Our only issue was the sofas are a bit low to get out of so not really a complaint more of a comment for us middle aged ones. 😀 We will be coming back for another weekend. Thank you Tracy.

Fantastic stay at Tuftty Lodge. Such a lovely, large but cosy home and perfect for a Christmas getaway. Very responsive host and a beautiful area to explore. Thanks for everything Tracey, we will be back!

Clean, well equipped cabin with kitchen ideal for Xmas roast & even a Xmas tree provided. Also worked for Mum who uses a wheelchair. Helpful advice about nearby lovely Lake 32 for swimming & fun Boxing day dip. Great communication. Very happy stay! Thanks.

We all had an amazing Christmas at Lilly pad ,, the accommodation and location was just perfect , extremely clean and cosy, we cooked a Christmas lunch and made lots of amazing memories,, Tracey was the perfect host making sure everything went smoothly, even though we booked very last minute ,, Christmas Eve to be honest only leaving her a few hours to get our stay ready which she did perfectly, will definitely return,,

Great little find this was . it's a older cabin on the site but that being said its really affordable clean tidy brilliant base with everything you need to cook if you want. fantastic location with loads to do fishing if you pay for the tickets to use the facilities the kids entertainment is spot on. pool with slides steam room sauna indoor play area also out door pool in the summer . already looking at dates to book again

very relaxing modern and clean lodge with lovely lake views. Hosts very responsive and we had a lovely peaceful weekend here.

Beautiful place on the lake with amazing views. The boys loved feeding the ducks and watching the water sports. Ben was really friendly and accommodating to our needs. Lovely property and the home entertainment system was great on the rainy days. Highly recommend. Thanks very much Ben
