Chalet holiday rentals in United Kingdom

From the initial booking through to the time we were leaving, both Marion and John were perfect hosts. Nothing was a bother. The accommodation was lovely, and had everything we wanted. On arrival we were greeted with everything you want from tea, coffee, milk to bread butter and preserves. We even had some lovely treats including shortbread, tablet (the sweet scottish kind) and fudge. John did try to give us a nip of whisky but all we wanted was a cup of tea. But don’t be fooled , we got our nips on Sunday. Very much appreciated. If you haven’t been to Oban, then go. You wont be stuck for things to, Marion and John, could give you ideas to last a month, never mind a weekend. Ps, when walking into town, the 144 or was it 145, steps are quicker but the lane is easier. We will be back.

Ideal accommodation for Padstow and surrounding areas. Easy to get to local beaches, bays and villages. Great accommodation has everything you need and Jo was a really helpful, friendly host. Would recommend!

Great place for few nights stay, clean and tidy. All elements you need to kick start your visit, tea bags, salt, oil few coffee sachets, soap and shampoo etc.. brilliant. Good location to explore local delights. Even with the down pour of rain that we had was warm and cosy. Nice touch with the buckets and spades and camping chairs outside.

Amazing place to stay- it was so relaxing being immersed in nature, and the chalet had everything we needed. Our toddler loved meeting the goats and chickens and exploring the woodland! Lovely, friendly hosts who made us feel at home. Can’t wait to stay again :)

We chose Jo's place as it was close to Charmouth (11 mins) and Lyme Regis (14 mins by car). Our 6 year old son wanted to go fossil hunting. We arrived at Jo's cottage and she was there to greet us. She is very friendly and welcoming as well as her lovely dog Ruby. Jo also provided us with a travel cot and a changing mat for our 3 month old baby boy too, which was helpful. Jo provided us with a wheel barrow to carry our belongings to the Duck House as it was a little walk round the cottage. It's cosy and had all we needed. Our son liked the children's room he slept in and enjoyed the toys/games provided. My partner and my son did go in the swimming pool, however it was cold for our baby to go into. Jo did provide some bread, home made marmalade (that was lovely), butter, jam and milk. There was no hot water when we woke but when we contacted Jo she was straight on it and sorted it before we went out for the day. We enjoyed our stay - Thank you Jo.

We had fantastic stay at Philip’s chalet. It has everything you need. The site is very peaceful and just a short walk to the sea front and village centre centre amenities. The beach hut was a real bonus on a sunny week. We spent most days there as a base. Philip was very responsive and helpful throughout Highly recommended and especially suited for little ones

We had a great stay at Iain’s charming cabin, he provided clear instructions before arrival for check in and some additional directions to find the place. When we arrived the cabin was very clean with all listed amenities available and everything topped up such as fire wood. Half way through our stay there was an electrical issue in the area which caused a power outage. Iain was quick to respond and try his best to get everything going again, when it became apparent this wouldn’t be until the following day he booked alternative accommodation for us and then welcomed us back into the cabin the following day. These things can’t be helped but Iain dealt with the situation in the best way possible which is all you can ask for. Once the fire is roaring the cabin becomes so cosy and a perfect place to return back to after exploring the Scottish countryside. Coupled with a comfy bed and an amazing view to wake up to you really can’t go wrong with a relaxing getaway here!

Simply fabulous stay at this beautiful, quiet chalet. A spotless, dog friendly getaway with a relaxing, fully enclosed back garden. I do love having a choice of outdoor seating spaces to choose from especially if they've got pretty lights. Everything you need to make your stay special. Super comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, a lovely, lovely sunroom, awesome shower and less than a minutes walk to the sandy beach. The locally taken photographs added to the ambiance. If you're very lucky the lovely hosts will even book the sunshine and blue sky for you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the tranquil Chalet. The beds & pillows are so comfortable, fresh clean linen & towels. Kitchen well equipped. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you

We stayed at Olya’s beautiful Chalet for a hen party in February 2025. It was wonderful, we all had such a fabulous time and throughly enjoyed it at the chalet. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the whole premises. Olya is a fantastic host, very responsive and happy to help, also was very grateful with the flexibility with check in and out times.

Beautiful place to stay, with fantastic views of the bay. Easily walkable to the on site facilities, which were very good. Very well equipped property, with everything you need for a peaceful break away.

The team loved the place and would go back tomorrow . Stephen is a great host and made them very welcome

Joe was a great host and provided all information requested. Arrival was straightforward plenty of space. House was clean and welcoming. Photos need updating as property has been extended further. Shepherd hut in Garden was a great addition however it is cited at the bottom of a steep incline. The hot tub was a great addition and used well journey to the beach was about 15 minutes and parking was difficult but manageable. Shops et cetera were a short drive from the house. There were not many places to eat locally but plenty of takeaways if you needed them. A very enjoyable week in a lovely area about 30 minute drive to New Forest. Definitely worth considering.

The Manor Party Lodge was perfect for a girlie weekend with 7 friends. We had an amazing time. The lodge was clean and well maintained and the hot-tub was wonderful. Cleaning staff were nice and friendly. We would definitely book again.

Very good place with convenience to city centre. Very nice view of the mountains as well as sufficient parking space. Quite clean setup in the house.

Fantastic location, very peaceful. Lovely setup within the lodge and great additional feature with the private sauna. All round very good and everyone was excited to stay over.

We had a lovely stay. The lodge was furnished to a high spec. Very comfortable and lovely log fire. Beautiful view looking out over the loch. Although there were other lodges around it felt very quiet and peaceful. Lovely walks and we really enjoyed paddle boarding on the Loch. Thank you Linda for a lovely few days!

Had a lovely stay at Elk Lodge. Its location is beautiful, the lodge is warm, comfortable and well equipped. Lots of wildlife to watch.

Incredible experience in every aspect. The place is super cozy, well designed and appointed. Surroundings are stunningly beautiful. Joy is the best host who is friendly and accommodating.

Amazing private location overlooking Lochalsh. A very spacious yet cozy one bedroom cottage with a large well equipped kitchen. Magical experience (snowed whilst I was there!) Highly recommend and I can guarantee I will be back!

What a beautiful place to stay, very clean, has everything you could possibly need. The fishery is peaceful and has lots of wildlife around, it’s really relaxing. Ben and Charlotte were always quick to respond to question and were really welcoming. Was a pleasure to meet Ben in person. His enthusiasm and love for the place is brilliant. Would definitely recommend this to everyone!

What a brilliant location. The lodge was all and more than we expected. The location of the lodge on site is excellent as there is very little passing footfall. Inside the lodge is well equipped and extremely comfortable. The outside decking area is large, overlooks the lake with comfortable chairs and table. Hopefully we will be back again soon.
