Perfect for visiting the Kent countryside which is peppered with stately homes and castles, Pear Tree Garden is set in the middle of a fruit farm with nothing but beautiful views of the Garden of England surrounding it. 1/2 an hour from Royal Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks, an hour from historic Battle and Hastings and 45 minutes by train from London. Folkestone, where you can drive through to France via the Eurotunnel, is less than an hour away. One hour from Heathrow and 40 minutes from Gatwick

Newly refurbished - Sandown, like its twin Ascot, has an ample sized, well equipped kitchen with a table and four chairs and a comfy sofa that turns down into a bed in seconds. Comfortable apartment, half my bungalow, in the central Kent village of Offham. There is easy access to London, the Kent coast, and the channel ports. The M26/M25 and M20 motorways are just 10 minutes away. Set in a beautiful countryside valley setting high above the road -- perfect for lovely walks in the country and visits to the village pub. The property has a large garden and parking for up to two cars.
