House holiday rentals in Ruakākā

Our large group had a wonderful stay here. The view was stunning and the pool was nice on a hot day! Would recommend to groups for a weekend getaway as there is plenty of space.

Really fantastic place and lovely hosts. Very private and peaceful. Hosts are super quick to assist if any concerns and to maintain the pool at times that suit you. They live a bit up the driveway so can't really see them from the property. Also I have a low car and driveway was absolutely fine, sealed for most of it. Was everything I wanted in a holiday home, highly recommend it. I thought the pool might be cold but it was lovely and warm with inflatables to relax on. Everything was very clean and they supply everything you could need. High end bbq, coffee machine, bedding, scented candles etc. Loved having a dishwasher for a week. The town is about 5 min drive if you want anything, for cafes, restaurants etc. Close to Forestry Beach for a dog friendly beach or plenty of others around, went to a different one each day. Was great to bring my dog along without a long list of rules like some places. Thanks for everything, will be back for sure.

My boys loved the warm pool, and the playground at the park next door. The cabin was tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Perfect pad. No need to leave the house apart from replenishing supplies. The kitchen has everything you need and some. Lovely quiet cul de sac. Pool was a hit....no need for the beach!

Had a great stay, we enjoyed the pool and spa and the peacefulness of the location. the house was lovely and stunning views from all the windows. Just what we needed..🙂

Amazing property which was even better than it looked in the photos. Very well equipped with everything you need and communication with Emma was quick and easy. Pool, spa and outdoor fireplace were a big hit!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host was incredibly helpful and responsive. The house was clean, cozy and clutter free which was perfect for my small children. The little touches of fresh towels, snacks, thoughtful welcoming guide, really made a difference. The view and pool were beautiful! Better than the photos.

Our family really enjoyed this stay! We loved the layout of the home, having the sleep out allowed the kids to have their own space and we weren’t feeling like we were all on top of each other. The pool isn’t massive but enough for everyone to cool down. The distance to the shops is so close which was super handy for grocery top ups or ice cream runs. As it’s on the main road it is noisy in the front room and impacts getting in and out of the drive - but not an issue for us but worth noting. The host was super responsive as we were 30mins early. Will def be back to stay!

Awesome getaway for our family of 5, relaxing, amazing views, great boating and water activities for the kids while out on out boat, great to be able to just jump in every morning. Very short walk to marina, cafe and 4 square! Even enjoyed the local food trucks on Friday night after getting the message from hosts. Highly rec

Throughly enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed and close to lovely beaches. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay at Waipu Cove.

What absolute paradise! We had such an incredible time at Lyndsay’s place. An original NZ bach feel with all the mod-cons. For us the location was the highlight - being able to swim, paddle board, kayak, surf, & walk all from the front doorstep. Our dog and 1 year old enjoyed the regular swims. There were so many beautiful touches that made us feel like home, such as the flowers, welcome note and book about Patau’s history. Thank you Lyndsay for making it a special weekend - We didn’t want to leave!

Would highly recommend! We had a lovely weekend here, short walk to the beach and the place was exactly as described and had great communication from the hosts - 10/10 😊

Ernie’s place was a really nice stopover on our trip. Perfect for 2, lovely and quiet and a short drive to the village for dinner. Would happily stay again.

This was our second stay at this home and we would go back again in a heart beat. The place had everything we needed and more and is beautifully presented. Francie is an amazing host and made us very welcome. Very highly recommended.

Christine’s house was absolutely perfect for us. The cleanliness, the facilities and the small touches all made us feel welcome. Her instructions were so helpful and clear, she made us so at home. Entry and exit were simple - and then there is the view!!! So spectacular, as are the sunsets from the porch. A stunning let, and we will absolutely return! Thank you Christine

Cathy’s place is perfect! It’s super spacious and comfortable with high-quality finishing and furnishings - you can tell she’s put a lot of effort into making it welcoming and special for her guests. It’s the most well-equipped place I’ve stayed at - everything from spices and several different forms of coffee through to washing powder, table tennis and beach chairs are all ready and waiting. Waipu is a great town and Cathy’s place makes it even better. We’d love to come back and will recommend it to friends!

If you're looking for a little slice of Paradise a lazy 5 min walk to Ruakaka beach don't go past Donna's place. It's welcoming, has everything you need, great hot water shower (indoor & outdoor are both hot!) and the beds are super cozy with beautiful crisp linen. The perfect getaway for a couple or a crowd. Beautiful, clean home in a peaceful, tranquil setting. Central to everything we needed and perfect for work with fast, reliable internet. The host was lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Home away from home. Lovely surroundings, set off the road & private. Good sized bedrooms, big bathroom and separate toilet, spacious kitchen & great indoor outdoor flow. Kitchen had everything we needed, large fridge etc. Our kids also enjoyed having the area in front of the garage to bounce the Basketball. The place looks better than the photos.

Lovely place in a quiet neighbourhood. The rooms are spacious and well furnished and the house is well equipped. Donna was communicative and the place was overall very good value and comfortable.

loved this from the moment we walked in a real kiwi batch ❤️ we came for motocross so didnt spend huge amount of time around the place. but nice fire. Kids( teens) loved the down stairs and outside was cool. view of beach.

Lovely secluded spot with a 15 minute walk down to the beach. It was perfect for a few slow days together as a family.
