Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint Ives Bay

We- a large multi generational family group - have just had a fantastic week at Trevassack House. The facilities within the property are fantastic and we wanted for nothing, there was plenty of space for us all to congregate OR have quite space. The addition of the hot tub was the icing on the cake 😊 and well worth booking to use while staying there. Matthew and Catherine are fantastic hosts who always answered promptly if we had any questions and were really helpful. I can't recommend Trevassack House highly enough if you're after a peaceful stay in west Cornwall, with plenty of charm and space, in beautiful surroundings ❤️🙏✨

The Wendy house was perfect for our stay and had a sheltered porch to leave dirty shoes, umbrellas etc outside to dry off. Great to have a washing machine and airer. The outdoor shower was a must for after the beach. Everything you needed, with comfy beds and somewhere to sit and eat. Great outdoor private space. We loved it and will be back. We spent a week at the house with several generations and it was absolutely perfect. There are basically two separate living rooms which was brilliant. Great that we had our own bathrooms and the house is in a fantastic location. Loads of space, kitchen worked well and would recommend the house for a group that has different needs to cater to. The hosts were very responsive and left good instructions.

Great place to stay and only 20 mins walk from the centre. It was extremely clean, spacious and value for money. The social areas and kitchen were very generous for space. Hot water and heated when required. Overall exactly what we were looking for.

This house is in simply the best location for the town and beach. The house is home for home and the kitchen has every utensil you need and the bathroom is great. The courtyard is a lovely intro in the afternoon too. My only slight reservation: we are a family of 5 and I think the house is more suited to a family of four. The living areas and kitchen/diner feel smaller than the photos look.

We loved our stay! Beautiful and homely, with lovely outdoor spaces. Rooms were all comfortable, clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Simon and Saraya were friendly, gave helpful instructions and were really responsive. Would definitely recommend!

My wife and I, two elder kids and a dog had a great time here. The house was exactly as described with all the extras like dishwasher tablets all included, which makes such a difference. Sharon was very responsive and helpful. Lots of info provided including detailed walking maps for the walk to the beach, which was a beautiful stroll. The immediate area itself is like a resort with its own bar and restaurant, which we enjoyed. EV charging on site a real bonus. We’d definitely come back here.

Absolutely fabulous location and host. The views were outstanding from living room/balcony. Lis was always on hand for guidance and recommendations. Lots of fabulous walking and amazing restaurants.

We had a lovely stay at Jo's place, good location, easy to find and lovely views across the golf course and out to sea. Excellent communication, felt like nothing too much trouble. Minor issue with WiFi connection which was resolved immediately (and realised after I actually just hadn't read the AirBnB info fully) Comfy small double bed, very clean and warm, towels provided.

Such a beautiful place, great location, short walk to the beach and town. It did take me a few attempts and help from some local friends to find it but once you locate it, everything went smoothly. Check in was easy. Biz provided lots of information on the run up to my trip and there’s a handy guide in the room for everything else!

The kitchen was extremely well-equipped and we loved the sunny garden. Two bedside lights would have been helpful but otherwise the place was perfect

Lovely spacious apartment with balcony overlooking the beach, just one row of houses back from the seafront. We prefer this side of town as you get access to the Gannel and Fistral. Comes with a parking spot too. Can walk everywhere. Look forward to returning soon!

Apartment as per pictures and description. Barbara's directions to the place and to get in were clear and precise. The location was within walking distance of the town and amenities. We enjoyed our stay.

Very enjoyable stay at Roy’s loft. Ideal location with St Ives centre less than 10 minutes down the hill yet away from the crazy St Ives holiday traffic. Roy is a very friendly and helpful host.

As first-time Airbnb users, we were blown away by Kathryn's flat. It felt like a home away from home. Kathryn clearly put a lot of thought into making our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend her property to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay. So comfortable, clean, well presented home. yummy scones waiting for us, and a little milk which meant I could have a tea first thing in the morning! There were also dog bowls and a dental stick waiting for our pup. The addition of flowers in the house made it feel so homely and everything was so comfy. Watching the surfing from the balcony was a real highlight. Also, Marita is the ideal host! So responsive and friendly :-) We cant wait to stay again- everything was perfect!

Excellent stay in New Polzeath. Easy access to local amenities. Having stayed in this apartment and other is the block a number of times over many years. Never disappointed! Lovely surroundings, quiet accommodation but only a short walk to Polzeath for surf and lovely food. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone who likes good surf and lots of places to eat and drink.

Fantastic apartment beautifully designed with all home comforts at your fingertips, great pub across the street and Sue and Phil were so welcoming and friendly! The apartment is such a great space with a fantastic open plan living/kitchen/dining area and great views! The bedrooms are comfortable and cosy and both en-suite. An easy walk to Truro town centre or the bus stops right outside and it’s a short ride to town Would recommend 100%!

Martha’s place is very nice a cozy. Local to the town as well as out of the way so you feel some seclusion. The apartment was clean and tidy with clear instructions with a handy welcome booklet. Handy free parking space which helped massively. Martha was very friendly and responsive and was a delightful stay. Finding the apartment was not very easy. I struggled with the instructions but found it eventually. It could do with some lighting outside to help navigate the steps but my phone torch worked just as well. I really enjoyed my stay as did my dog was really nice with plenty to do within walking distance and short driving distance lots of dog friendly beaches, restaurants, cafes and shops.

The strong WiFi was also a huge plus—super reliable and fast. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay in the apartment. The view is exactly as it looks in the pictures and is so pretty! The location is within great distance to anything you could want or need. The apartment itself was really clean, well kept and nice and cosy. Julia is a great host, making everything smooth and easy and was incredibly polite! We will definitely be back to enjoy this lovely place again I can’t recommend it enough! :)

Kristen was a great host. Right from the time of booking until checkout, Kristen was proactive in providing clear instructions to ensure a smooth check-in and comfortable stay. We stayed for 2 nights during New Year’s eve , the place was super clean, easily accessible with all the amenities required within kitchen, bathroom, games set, books to read. The aesthetics of the house were to the point and the house felt like home. Would recommend it to all.
