La Fenetre Holiday Cottage

Clean, central and had a well equipped kitchen. Hot tub a lovely bonus. Beds and sofa super comfy. Can’t fault the inside or the host at all. Only drawback is on busy road.

Willow Cottage nestled twixt coast and moorland

SimonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A wonderful couple of days away in a beautiful part of the country. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing half term mini break, we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with a fantastic view of Robin Hood’s Bay. Steve was a great host and supplied us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from local recommendations to fire logs. Couldn’t recommend highly enough, thank you Steve!

The Byre @ Low Waupley Farm

NatalieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We have just returned from a lovely stay here at the Byre. The accommodation is exactly as described and the hosts were fantastic, providing lovely touches such as welcome baskets for us and the dogs. The location is great for exploring the local seaside towns, and very private. I would certainly recommend and would stay again.

3 Railway Cottage Pickering , Hot Tub, Pets all'd

AndrewRating, 5 starstoday
3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Rambling Rose Cottage, near Staithes

JillRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Very happy to have stayed at Dawns fabulous Rambling Rose cottage. The place was spotless and very homely feel we relaxed the minute we stepped through the doors. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away and relax either in the fabulous hot tub or a cosy night in front of the log burner. Thanks Dawn for providing such a wonderful place to unwind.

Orchard House, luxury cottage retreat.

BevRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I have just spent a long weekend here with friends. The cottage is just perfect for a couple or a small family with everything you need. Very clean and spacious. There was a nice little welcome hamper which was greatly appreciated, thank you Henry and Jane. Absolutely beautiful surroundings with many places to walk. Stunning views. There are also a few friendly local pubs but we didnt eat out so can't review those. The hot tub was very welcoming and used every evening. The only feedback I would give is to maybe add some lighting over the hot tub area for when it gets dusk. As you're in the countryside, there isn't any street lamps so it gets very dark at dusk. It only needs ambient lighting. That aside, absolutely no complaints at all from us. We love the relaxation as thats what we needed. I would highly recommend staying at Orchard Cottage. We hope to be returning one day.

Great location and beautiful setting. Hot tub was fab! We had dinner at The Wellington Heifer one night which is a 10 minute walk away and would recommend.

An absolute gem of a find, this cottage overlooking the beck and the beautiful harbour! The cottage is lovely and comfortable, great history to this 17th century fisherman's cottage. As always, Staithes is stunning. Jackie has been incredibly responsive and helpful to any questions we had. Highly recommend Jackie's cottage. We certainly will be back!

Romance or a rest at The Nest Castleton,Whitby!

SarahRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Annette’s cottage. It was perfect for what we wanted. We explored Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes, Whitby and Sandsend. We parked and Sandsend on one of the free spaces and walked to Whitby (7mile round trip with a little walk in the town too) One day we got the train from the village to Whitby and back. Requires planning as limited but was fun on the train! We also did a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. We had a lemon bun from Bothams and while there bought a Brack cake we then got some beer from the Whitby Brewery! We had a drink in the pub opposite and another evening we ate at The Eskdale - stunning food definitely recommend the food and restaurant was brilliant. Last night we walked down for a drink at Eskdale too. It was handy having a little coop. The bed was super comfy. We didn’t use the TV but was there if needed! Kitchen was ideal. We would love to stay again. Annette was a wonderful host too, very attentive and efficient.

Cosy two-bed cottage. Sleeps 4. Pets welcome.

AaronRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Wonderful cottage. Very well equipped kitchen. Beds were very comfortable especially the double room. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tidy. Extra touches such as tea and biscuits was a nice surprise. The location is right in the heart of Staithes with everything you would need within a 5 minute walk. We parked easily at bank top car park and walked to the cottage. Only suggestion would be the smaller sofa (non leather) isn’t very comfortable.

Cheerful & Quaint 18th Century cottage

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a lovely stay at this very cute, quirky cottage in a good location, with all the supplies you’d need. There were lots of things to do nearby. Helen was incredibly attentive and always happy to help and nothing was too much trouble. We were even able to purchase some of her amazing artwork. 🤩 Would definitely recommend to others.

Periwinkle Cottage

SophieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Me, my husband and two young children had a wonderful stay at the cottage which was lovely, clean and cosy. The kids were delighted with the Yorkshire goodies! It wasn’t really warm enough to sit outside but the back garden was beautifully done and would be lovely in for an evening drink on a warmer evening. We loved the location - it was about 30 minutes walk into Whitby & a nice, easy walk, close to Sandsend Beach and Falling Foss. Deb called beforehand and talked through lots of helpful tips on where to visit and how to get there. We were sad we’d only booked two nights. Highly recommend!

Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

HilaryRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
All we can say is Wow. This house was absolutely amazing, exactly as advertised with the most amazing view of the sea. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean with everything you could possibly need to have a great stay. Right in the centre of the old town but still really private as off the main tourist path. Loved every min and we will definitely be back.

Demeter Cottage

MaddyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fantastic location, in a very walkable area. We managed to secure free street parking very close by for our entire stay, but the car park wouldn’t have been too expensive and was only a short walk away. The cottage itself is lovely with incredible views across the town from all 3 floors. We really appreciated the adjustable heating, as it sometimes got chilly in the evening. I loved the spacious bathroom and the shower was fantastic- great water pressure in the removable head and the overhead waterfall shower was also lovely. We really enjoyed ourselves and will absolutely be staying again in future!

Horseshoe cottage, 1 bed, ground floor living

PhilipRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Zoe is a terrific host and The Horseshoe is a perfect quiet getaway for two. Being single storey it is a boon for those with some limited mobility, unable to manage steps, but not for wheelchair users. It suited my wife fine. We stayed for eight nights and after an initial hiccup with the Internet (service provider at fault, dealt with swiftly an efficiently by Zoe) we settled in comfortably and enjoyed our stay very much. The nearby town of Pickering has many attractions and for essential shopping there is a Spar supermarket attached to a nearby service station. On a quirky note, while walking around Wrelton we spotted eggs for sale with an honesty box - very fresh, including two double yolkers. 😁. We didn't take advantage of the nearby pub but it seems popular and has a good menu. All in all, we thoroughly recommend Zoe's holiday lets.
