Loft holiday rentals in Santa Lucía del Camino

This was a beautiful place to stay, the loft was fully equipped with everything we needed and so comfortable. Great kitchen for cooking as it is a bit far out of the Centro and nice to have the option to cook at home! We wanted peace and quiet so didn't mind the distance, however for any sensitive to noise, the neighbourhood dogs bark consistently, so we needed earplugs to sleep. No fault of the host, just regular for a residential area in Mexico it seems!

I loved my stay at Daniel's place. The apartment is huge and has giant windows and high ceilings that let in a lot of light. I loved the kitchen, it has everything you need. The fans are powerful. I loved the L-shaped sofa and the huge bed with all the pillows, the place felt very luxurious. There are dogs somewhere in a back yard but usually they don't bark at night, just bring some earplugs in case. Shower was great, always hot water. I just advise visitors who come to Oaxaca to be mindful with water because there is serious scarcity in the city. But I always had plenty of water in this beautiful place. I work remotely and was able to work well with the internet. I love this part of Oaxaca as it's very local and has some great street food vendors and you can walk everywhere. And last but not least, Dan was an amazing host! I had some problems (unrelated to the house) and he was ready to help going beyond what one would expect. Gracias por todo!

Gabriela has wonderful taste and has decorated each unit eclectically and individually. The location is tremendous, right in the middle of Jalatlaco - its own little wonderful island in Oaxaca, full of art shops, murals and restaurants. It’s quiet, the garden is wonderful and the kitchen was generously equipped. The one thing I’d draw attention to in this apartment is the outdoor bathroom and shower - a delight when it is sunny and temperate - but potentially a bit cold if visiting during the rainy season or winter. That said, would have loved staying here longer.

Manguito was very kind, with clear instructions and the manager Javier received us with the best attention and was always on the lookout for everything, I totally recommend it because one feels comfortable and safe, it is a super nice and welcoming place, faithful to the publication, I would without hesitation choose this place to stay again.

Location is ideal and surprisingly quiet considering central location. Zocalo and pedestrian street Alcala within 2 blocks. Modern unit inside with comfortable bed and bedding. Small size but adequate for 2. Hot shower worked, but as mentioned by host takes a few minutes to warm up. Smell of fresh bread from bakery below was awesome. Will be back next time we are in Oaxaca.

Maru welcomed us to Oaxaca with a lot of kindness in a comfortable and pleasant apartment with good natural ventilation, good lighting and a shared terrace with a spectacular panoramic view. We are very grateful for all the excellent attention details we received. Thank you :)

This place was very nice. Sra. Mary was very pleasant and even made me a tlayuda when I arrived late and no restaurant were open. very close to Monte Alban. Nice view of the city from the balcony.

Couldn’t have found a better location in Oaxaca in our eyes! Right opposite the botanical gardens, next door to a Mezcal tasting bar and near to lovely plazas and great restaurant options. A mini market on the road was super handy for picking up groceries etc. The apartment was lovely and exactly as advertised: great decor, very clean and had everything we needed. Marisol was very helpful and we were able to do a few clothes washes there which was very handy while being on a 3 week trip. Alberto and Shirley were very communicative and always on-hand to help. Would 100% stay there again if we return to Oaxaca!

Like at home. The place is very comfortable and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and very close to the airport which was what we were looking for, you can even get there by walking. The center is really not far, by car is 15 min, I love it because it is close to the craft municipalities. Inside the place when we had some "problem" Benny responded very quickly and gave us a solution right away. Really recommended. We will definitely repeat.

It was a great place to explore Jalatlaco from. We loved the neighborhood. There was actually good water pressure for showers. We would absolutely stay here again.

The apartment has lots of light, is spotless and quiet. Our host was always available with helpful tips and even stopped at a store when she was out to bring us something we liked. V Totally modern washing machines were available with soap and a sunny clothes line. Probably the best Airbnb I ever stayed in.

Wow we had the perfect stay at Moy’s place. It was peaceful and not too far from Central, he also had a friend who was a taxi driver who helped us get around! We came to celebrate our anniversary and can’t say enough how much of a little piece of paradise the stay was and how perfect it was ! We Highly recommend Moy and his place !

Rodrigo’s place was the perfect stay for 2 weeks while taking Spanish classes on vacation. It was a ~20 minute walk (as the listing describes), which we were glad for because it lent itself to peaceful evenings and gave us a chance to explore an area we might not have, had we stayed in the center. Walking around at night, the area felt totally safe. Really charming residential neighborhood - with small local restaurants and corner stores to pick up sundries. The apt was very well appointed, with a water filter so we didn’t have to buy bottled. The place looked just like the listing pics. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and offered an affordable cleaning service 1/2-way through our stay. We loved having breakfast outside on the patio and taking in sunsets on the shared rooftop patio. Rodrigo was a very responsive host, who provided clear instructions and answered our questions quickly. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed staying at Cesar’s place. The space was a great fusion of old world and modern. There was Oaxacan coffee, fresh flowers, Mexican treats and excellent Mezcal waiting in the room for us. Those special touches really stood out. The place is really well located in the center of old Oaxaca and easily walkable to bars, restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, public plazas and the city center (zócalo). Cesar’s cohost, David, set-up a private walking tour of the city for us at my request as well. We were extremely happy with the overall experience of this Airbnb and would definitely return.

Very nice and clean apartment on the top of a hotel. It’s also in the middle of the city with lots of nice restaurants and cafes around. Carlos always responded quickly and you can also scan a QR code inside the apartment and text directly with the reception of the hotel. They also will help you instantly.

It’s a beautiful Airbnb about 14 mins from centro oaxaca city. I would recommend booking this if you have a few days and are not in any hurry. It’s about 150 pesos going back and forth from the city so if you do about 2-3 trips in a day, you should think about that. The accommodation is really beautiful - I enjoyed it as our induction into Oaxaca before we moved to our hotel in jalatlaco. I would definitely come back here. Just know that the bed is a full bed, not a Queen so it could be a little small depending on how cuddly the couple is at night (we are definitely not so we struggled a bit)

The couple welcomed us in Mezcal after our arrival.On the day we arrived, she told us there was a show going on at a local restaurant and we enjoyed the great Oaxacanite. The room had everything we needed and was very relaxing.You can also walk to the city, and there is a bakery and cafe just a short walk away, which was great access. On the way home, the couple sent me to the airport, and I was really happy to stay in Oaxaca.

We had a wonderful stay here. Absolutely amazing communication with Sam from the day we booked, until we left. I had many questions about the area and he was so helpful and accommodating. It was truly appreciated, brilliant service. We mucked up our dates for our next accommodation and were lucky enough to stay another night, again, great communication and nothing was ever a problem. The loft itself was great. Large area and our first stay with a fridge!! The bed was comfortable. It is in a complex with a cafe, but the cafe was not open on weekends and not open until 9am weekdays. And even then, you cannot hear much noise from it. So don’t let that put you off, it’s not an issue at all. The complex felt very safe. The loft is a 15-20min walk from the main areas and an easy taxi ride. For those staying longer, the kitchen was equipped with everything you would need, however, we did not need to utilise it. We have absolutely nothing to complain about. It was a great stay. We felt right at home. great distance from down town which is what we wanted as we didnt want all the noise and people for dia de los muertos celebrations. This was also walking distance from many great breakfast spots. Always had a spot to park right in the front for our rental and room was very secure. Would definitley stay again.

good place, nice details, good location

Gabriela and her husband were great hosts, answered all our questions. Great location to the Centro, however, her ad says main avenue but fails to say it is very noisy and we could not get any sleep with the mass of traffic on this road plus there are Roosters at the neighbors. We left earlier than our stay due to the noise. If you are great with a lot of noise then it is a great place due to the proximity of the Centro.
