The cottage was spotless, and had all the amenities you could ask for on a weekend getaway. It had so much space for me and girlfriend and felt totally luxurious, and still managed to hold onto the cosy cottage feel. The private hot tub was amazing, and we were lucky enough to enjoy it while it was showering with snow! Above all this, Claire is hands down the best host we’ve ever had and couldn’t do more for us! The welcome basket and little extras she provided for our stay were so thoughtful, and you could really feel how much she cared about her guests all the way from booking to check out.

Lovely stay! The cottage was clean and tidy and had all the amenities we needed for a weekend stay. We spent the mornings walking but the cottage was perfect for a simple relaxed evening watching tv. The cottage took a while to warm up but did stay warm when it heated up: luckily we took a heated blanket which helped on the first night! Thanks David!

Dr Jill's place is just what I needed: safe, clean, comfortable, pretty, and with all the amenities I needed, and good value for the price. Jill really is a super host -- responsive and quick to any questions or needs, and very friendly and helpful without being intrusive in any way. She and her son Marcus really go out of their way to make sure your stay is as great as possible, with real personal care and thoughtful added touches (ie. dog blanket). Her house is located in a peaceful, lovely, walkable residential neighbourhood close to restaurants, launderette and shops, parks and green spaces; it's also close to all the resources of Sheffield. 10/10! Thanks Dr Jill and Marcus for greeting us and getting us settled after a long trip, and hosting us so graciously. We'll be back :) KB

Had a great stay at the cottage, it was a great location to get into Buxton and surrounding areas. Allie and her family were available when needed and were friendly and showed us the cows up close but gave us plenty of space. It didn't feel like you were on top of each other at the farm. The cottage was really nice itself and clean with the surrounding areas really beautiful. Would recommend the cafe at the bottom of the lane (2 min DRIVE) and the red lion pub in Litton( 5/10 min drive) the food in both places were really nice. Would definitely recommend this stay and I will be back if I'm ever visiting the area again!

My husband and I had a lovely stay here with our puppy. the campsite was lovely and included everything you would need such as kettle microwave etc, and the dining area is especially helpful too. The area is lovely and there is 2 pubs within a short walking distance both of which are dog friendly and serve great food we particularly enjoyed the gate inn. The area is beautiful and there is lots to see and do we would love to come back again to this site to see some of the places we didn’t get the chance to go, Thankyou Caroline for a lovely break away and for being a welcoming and accommodating host throughout our stay.

Prior to our stay, Lucy was always on hand to answer any queries. Belltent exactly as described. Lovely view and surrounded by countryside. Was lovely to see all farm animals too. Located on a quiet camping ground. Inside tent were all amenities we needed for our stay. Tent felt cosy on an evening and additional blankets provided. We would love to come back again in summer, when we'd be able to utilise more of outdoor space, with picnic area and firepit. Thank you for a relaxing stay! :)

Our second time staying in these flats while in the area visiting family! Lovely little flats in a private area, was perfect for what we needed it for, we have 2 children so great size and felt like a home away from home!! Thanks again, I’m sure we’ll be back again next time

I had the most wonderful stay at Suzi’s Airbnb! She was incredibly kind and hospitable, always ensuring that I had everything I needed and making me feel right at home. Room in a lovely family house - access to walks

We visited during a cold spell in January, with lots of snow everywhere and well below zero temperatures. Unfortunately the boiler had just broken, I was offered a full refund but decided to come anyway. We just about managed to stay warm with portable heaters, extra blankets and layers. The house was cozy and clean, and is situated in a nice area just out of Sheffield. Giulia was very friendly and helpful. As it was a weekend Giulia and her son were both home. The room in the attic is great, but the steep wooden stairs can be a little tricky for those with limited mobility, my dog didn't like them and slept on the landing below. All in all a pleasant stay.

Great second stay at Alison’s place. Really appreciated the location and spaciousness of the house. We had the 2 bedrooms booked and enjoyed the house to ourselves as Alison was away. Great family dinners, thanks for the flexibility. Good comms. The house is in quiet area with easy parking. Cigarette smell in the house but not surprised as it is mentioned in description. Lovely glass art everywhere. We’ll be happy to come back.

A very nice, warm, comfortable bedroom for a quiet night's sleep. Easy to reach bathroom. Good supply of towels. The TV was a bit complicated, I couldn't get BBC1 ,2 nor C4. Parking spaces available nearby in the road.
