Very nice old apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking holiday or relaxing. In a picturesque location, outside the small Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Already the first Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Konrad Adenauer stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Time out from everyday life in our historic accommodation. Idyllic secluded location on the edge of the forest. Car is required as there is no connection with public transport. Wiehl center about 3 km away with various shopping facilities, bakeries and restaurants. Heating is done with radiators connected to our green heat pump. In winter, a fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere. Modern internet connection, TV via satellite system. Water bubbler provided.

Located directly on the river, 3.5 room apartment, classified by the German Tourism Association, 4-star, non-smoking apartment in a quaint old half-timbered house. It is important to us that you can spend a nice, relaxing time here and unwind. The entrance to the Sauerland forest route is right around the corner and many nearby attractions (Reckenhöhle, Balver Cave, Luisenhütte.) The Sorpesee is a few minutes by car. I rent this unique apartment in the yard of a historic mill. (Be sure to check out my new apartment 'In the horse stable' too ) The barn loft is under the roof of the former barn. It consists of kitchen-living room, bedroom and one bathroom. You can reach the room via several stairs. Pure nature, with horses, dogs, cats, chickens and geese and all that naturally blends with it.
